I noticed and admired the lash extensions of a saleslady who got them done at Lola. After googling Lola I was a little concerned by the negative reviews floating around. I called this location to 'get a feel', ask questions and share some of my concerns. I was on the phone for at least 10 minutes going over everything and at no point did i feel like a nuisance, the girl took time to answer my questions and ease my concerns. I was booked for a full set (synthetic) for the following week. One thing to keep in mind you can't expect to call and get in the same day or even within the few days. The first thing I noticed about Lola is the super cute decoration and interior. Their space is beyond 'girlie' and fabulous. This is a space you want to be in. I was greeted within seconds by a friendly face who balanced incoming calls and outgoing clients. What else I noticed right away was the friendly relationships between techs and their clients. There are lots of laughs and conversations going between techs and clients and even clients to clients. It seems like everyone is in one big family. I waited a few minutes and filled out a consent form while I waited for my tech to grab me. She introduced herself after reviewing my form and took me back, she asked if i had ever had lashes before (once, a long time ago), if i was getting them for a certain event (wedding the following saturday) or long term, (I would if I was happy and could handle them) what kind of look i am going for (dramatic but look real-ish), etc. She listened to me and gave some input, I feel like she got me and I felt at ease. When she taped down my lower lashes, she took her time, was gentle, ensured there was no discomfort and started working away. If you get caught up in conversations with your lash tech, the hour and a half go by quickly but I must admit I look forward to the fills which will take half the time. When she was done, she removed the tape and advised me to take my time getting up, she handed me a mirror and I was truly impressed and in love with my lashes. My lashes were stocked up, she did a very good job and they dont look cheap or fake. The lash tech genuinely cared if I was happy with the result, and I believe if I wasnt she would have fixed it and taken the time to ensure I was happy. I was told the run down for dos and donts with lash after care and what products to use or avoid and given a business card listing all the info. I purchased an eyelash brush which was recommended (which I use every day and can say is worth it), when I was paying for everything the girl taking the payments was personable and friendly, asking how it went, if i was happy and if i wanted to rebook. Its obvious that Lola books up quick when you need to negotiate your preferred appointment times. That should be an indication of a good business thriving. I am proud to say that I did rebook for about 3 weeks later, and will tell my friends and collegues about the great service and product that I experienced. November 29, 2025 The reason I'm starting this review off with the date is honestly for a few reasons, which hopefully will be clear by the end of my story. So let me preface this by stating I have been a customer for quite a few years & the one time I did have a bit of an issue, the girls there honestly responded kindly & effectively to resolve it. They are always the sweetest when I go in & do their best to accommodate you. Today I went in for a fill; initially oblivious to anything going on around me, it wasn't long after my eyes were taped shut do I notice the commotion going on to my right. Now, from what I gathered, she got to her appointment 10 minutes late, then took another 10 minutes to fill out the new client form. At that point, when taken back to get her lashes done, she was informed that there wasn't enough time left in her allotted slot to accommodate her. This lady immediately started berating Tam (the girl at the front desk) & went so far as to suggest God/Allah would be ashamed of her. She was mad at them for "wasting her time" like she isn't a grown woman who is responsible for keeping her own appointments & that includes being considerate of the weather & potential traffic. Just when you thought that wasn't enough, she came back in with her camera on to yell more at the girls, threaten to sue them, leave a bad review & spitting out names, swearing at them. So... here I am, leaving a review. Because context is important. Hearing someone threaten a young girl's livelihood who is probably bound by corporate protocol, using the threat of posting it on the internet compels me to want to protect her. Tam was left in tears, but remained respectful & kind throughout the unnecessary drama. Tam, you didn't deserve that. Now the other part of this, understandably, hearing this exchange with my eyes taped shut triggered my anxiety like crazy & I'm sure I didn't make it easy for Yuliya to do my fill today on my bouncing eyeballs (I'm so sorry). Despite that, my lashes came out flawless. She's my go-to for a reason: lashes always look great, retention is great, she's quick, price is quite good, rewards program, plus she also waxes my brows & just makes my eyes look as good as they can (attached photos for reference on lashes - my eyebrows weren't done today but she controls my shape) Lastly... should the woman to who my story is about happen to pop on here to leave a bad review see this. Shame on you, you acted like a bully towards someone for doing their job. You not only came across incredibly entitled & inconsiderate, but also with no class. I wanted to mention after reading nan c, and Susan f reviews they are so intended for intentional harm to company reputation and the staff. Reading the review from Nan is comparable to day vs night. I work at a hospital, and I'm not an expert on this but if the hospital uses a cleaner that disinfects items we use on patients, I'm gonna say it's adaquate for eye lash tools. I don't know if these girls could wear gloves and do their job. Now calling them names and saying the cleaner they use is to harsh for the eye membrane. Lol, omg what does that have to do with lashes. An epiretinal membrane is a thin sheet of fibrous tissue that can form on the macula (the sharp focusing area at the back of your eye). It acts like a film through which it is harder to see. The film may also contract like scar tissue, which can pull on the delicate retina at the back of your eye. This review is a complete sham. If anyone followed the reviews for the 1 st location, you would be missing out on some great service, I'm sure you will be pleased. The stars Lola gets on Yelp are not right. Yelp needs to fact check reviews like the American presidential race this year. I hope this review will be helpful as things have been corrected. See ya all till the next review. I'm a guy and I feel the need to correct these post. The Susan post is totally exaggerated, it's purpose was to bring down Lola so ppl would read where she then went to fix the horrible job. If you need to degrade and insult a product, business, person to make your self look better, right there is the problem. I'm sure the place she went is great and staff was good. Having said that just say you like the other place and why make up false info about Lola. I actually found the review she did for her friends place pumping it up, great service etc, just like my friends had here. The problem is she didn't have the bad exp at Lola, I guess it's just their competition, it's a weak way of promoting your business. I have no reason to mention name cause I know nothing about the place. I just know I was really impressed with Lola lash bars businesses set up and the locations. If your competition is 45 mins away from you is it really beneficial to tarnish them, it won't mean that everyone will drive 45 mins out of there way now to see you. Market in your demographics and in a business that offers a service will get the rest of their cilents from referals. As every one of the girls loved the two girls who tended to them and will be referring Lola and the techs to their circle of friends. I cannot speak to the other locations, but I can speak to the Lola Lash Bar on 1 St SW. I recommend going to see Morgan because she changed my opinion about this place. First, I don't typically like going to chains because I've found that there's just a lower standard for delivering quality services. However, I have learned that it's not about the chain, it's about the people. See, the first time that I went to Lola Lash Bar on 1 St, I was not satisfied with my service. The technician did not seem to care about what I had wanted. I decided to give this place another shot because of the convenience of the location to my residential place. The next time I booked an appointment with them, I made sure to book with a different service provider: Morgan. If it weren't for Morgan I would be echoing the average reviewer of 2-3 stars. But like I said, it's not about the chain, it's about the people; and Lola Lash Bar on 1 St SW has a very valuable employee in Morgan. Unlike my first time here, Morgan was very professional in inquiring about what I wanted, provided alternatives for what I wanted, and made me feel like I was getting my money's worth. Further, throughout the process of getting my lashes lifted and my brows laminated, she made sure I was comfortable and was aware of what was going on. Morgan was also quite personable and welcoming, which made me feel like I wasn't just another appointment to her. I've been a client at Lola Lash bar for sometime now. I can same with complete confidence that I have NEVER had a bad experience. Right off the bat the employees are friendly, warm and very informative. The product is amazing and with that so are the results. I find they are constantly putting new products in their stores to keep up with client demands. Coming from someone who has experience with management, you can truly see the care factor and integrity they put into their business. Keeping up with customer satisfaction, Lola sends e-mails after every appointment making sure you had a great experience. If you have every been to Lola you can understand there is a high demand for appointments. By having a twitter page and constantly updating it, it makes it easier to schedule. As far as the lash technicians, I've always found them to be very nice and really try to make the atmosphere comfortable.I have never found anything to be unsanitary.. The best part is the product. I have never left Lola with nothing but complete satisfaction in my lashes. Lola does get very busy and you will probably need to book an appointment ahead. With the Mackenzie Towne location now open, it allows way more openings!! I understand the point of reviews, and hopefully you will give Lola a try. read more

I had my brows laminated for the first time at Lola, I also added a tint. Kristen at Mckenzie location did a great job. Kristen was friendly, explained the procedure and what to expect. Besides the application product having a strong smell, which is normal, it does subside during the appointment. Overall a painless and easy procedure. It has been just over two weeks and I am still impressed with my brows, though I wish the tint was still a little darker (hence the 4/5 stars). I have finer and sparse brow hair but with the lamination and tint they look great, natural and full. Cheaper than getting microblading; as I did not want to commit nor spend the money on microblading initially, decided to try the lamination first. The lamination is supposed to last 4 more weeks. I do apply a brow lotion which helps with the longevity of the lamination. I would definitely recommend this procedure, especially to those individuals who already have thick beautiful brows, this just enhances them more and really does make your eyes pop! I had an appointment for a lash fill at Lola today, and it was great!! The salon is gorgeous: well decorated, clean and modern, and they have really paid attention to the details (pillows and blankets on the beds, a basket for your purse). It looks like they took the time to make you feel like you are being pampered and looked after at your appointment. The receptionist was friendly and sweet. My lash technician was really nice and professional, and asked me some questions before she got started to make sure that I got what I wanted. And as for the final product, I love my lashes! I have been getting eyelash extensions for nearly 2 years straight, and I have been to several salons and over a dozen technicians. I'd been a loyal customer at a different lash location for over a year, but they just can't seem to get a handle on their staffing or scheduling, and I was feeling like it was less of a treat and more of a headache. So I started looking for a new place, and I am glad that I found Lola Lash Bar! I've already re-booked and I will be recommending it to my friends. read more

I have now been to Lola Lash Bar 3 times and have am more and more impressed every time I go back. I saw Madison my first appointment and immediately fell in love. She took the time to talk to my OCD self and do a thorough consultation before applying the lashes that would be best for the look I wanted. As a student, lash extensions are definitely a luxury but I feel that Madison does an exceptional job with my lashes and helps me work on extending their wear for as long as possible. Not to mention that she is always caring and interested in what is happening in my life. Overall, I always appreciate that Lola will call me if there is a cancellation earlier in the day so I can come in earlier. The studio is clean and welcoming. I wasn't sure how long I was going to keep my lashes for buy after my experiences at Lola I keep going back, and feel prettier every time! read more

As it was my first experience getting eyelash extensions, I really wasn't sure what to expect. All my hesitation went away when i first walked into the salon. I found the lash bar to be very warm and inviting, the space was very clean and had a great vibe to it. The employees where very professional and had answered all of my questions which made me feel very comfortable. My experience was pain free, the lash technician did an excellent job at applying eyelashes. While I was getting some well deserved rest I even snuck in a quick nap. In the end the entire experience was fantastic, I have received so many compliments from co-workers and friends that I always make sure to recommend Lola. I love this place! I used to go to the Lola in crowfoot and loved it but moved so I started going to this one. The technicians were both very friendly and explained everything about the different type of lashes and which would be best for me. I went with Synthetic because I like how thick and dark they are and my lashes are strong enough to handle them. I went for a dramatic look and I love it. They're spaced out nicely and they look naturel but still glamorous! I had a friend ask me what mascara I was using because she needs lashes like mine. I'm always very happy with my lashes and both technicians are so lovely its hard to chose one to book with!! I definitely recommend Lola Lash bar. I've been to Frilly Lilly, noir and a woman who does them privately and Lola is by far my favorite!!! read more

After trying about 5 different eyelash bars, i found Lola Lash Bar on 1st street. Sherry and Dawn are exceptional and i would never want to go anywhere else. The service is amazing and their work is like no other i have had before. The ladies take their time to make sure the application is just right, even more so, going a few minutes over their allowed time to make sure the job is done right. I have never encountered any hygiene issues, whether it be an eye infection, or dirty beds. I have recommended these ladies to all my friends and clients and will continue to do so. I will not be going anywhere else for as long as i am getting this service. There is a reason why they are booked solid week after week. I went to Lola Lash Bar's west 85th location on June 17, 2016 for a lash perm and tint. The shop is beautiful and the technicians are very friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere. My appointment started and ended on time. Kristen did a great job and I'm very happy with my perm. One week later, everything still looks great! This was my first time getting a lash perm and tint, and I might just be hooked. I'll see how long the perm lasts (I was told 3-4 months), but I'm thinking it will be a regular thing. I'll probably save the tinting for special occasions or vacation, since it doesn't last as long. Thanks to the ladies at Lola west 85th for a great experience! Great job and really friendly staff. Will go again! I went in to get a lash perm for the first time ever - at the Crowfoot location with Alyssa. My lashes weren't as curly as I thought they would be, so I called them back and they brought me back in and re-did them free of charge. They simply just let the solution sit a bit longer and they looked great the second time around. Also! While I was getting my lashes done I asked Alyssa about what other services they offer. When I told her I would be interested in getting a lash and eyebrow tint, she was able to do this for me on the spot. I was really happy with the results, and Alyssa's advice was helpful for me since I hadn't gotten my eyelashes done before. read more
