This is an update to my post of 3/16 - We choose XO Private Functions for our daughter's Sweet Sixteen party. Our daughter's party went beyond expectations!... We opted for the Teen Party Menu. Everyone, including the adults, enjoyed the food, the DJ kept the party on their feet, and the overall ambiance made it a magical night. My daughter, and all her guests, had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating the entire time. Val certainly knows what she's doing in the catering business, and she does it well. So I decided to go and check this place out. It had just opened and I want to see what it was all about. I walk in, I was greeted by the bouncer who by the way was a very nice guy. I proceeded to check the place out and decided to approach the bar. I ordered a drink and apparently the bartender made the wrong type of drink. I then waited there for about 12 minutes to try to get a hold of the waitress. Finally when she saw that I was trying to get a hold of her she asked me what I wanted and I explained to her my problem. She stated that it wasn't her problem and that I would have to pay for a new drink. Meanwhile the drink was right in front of me untouched and she still want me to buy another drink. I personally have never in my life had this type of experience. I asked her if I would be able to speak to the manager. The manager on duty was behind the bar. I was told that he would talk to me when he had a chance. He actually never came over to introduce himself. He ac never came over at all. I spent the rest of my night which was only another hour giving the place a second chance. No manager ever came by and left the worst taste in my mouth. I would never go to this place again. Any type of new business that can care less about the customer experience does not deserve my business or anyones for that matter. I will continue giving my business to other places that actually appreciate my presence and have customer loyalty. read more

On 3/5/20 my husband and I went to XO Private Functions and lounge to inquire about booking our daughter's Sweet 16 party for 4/3/20. We left a deposit of $1,000. Needless to say, the party didn't take place due to Covid-19. Upon checking our bank account we determined that XO Private Functions cashed our check on 3/6/20 which was the day after we were there and one month before the party!! With Gov. Murphy's restrictions still in place we contacted XO Functions and spoke with the owner. She indicated to us that she spent our deposit and does not have our money. What???!!!! A deposit is supposed to be attached to a contract not cashed the next day. They repeatedly ignore our calls and requests for our deposit to be returned. read more

We had the Wayne Hills Class of 1996 reunion at XO. Everything about the event was flawless. Val was on her game in planning and worked with us to get the right menu at the right price, security and great entertainment. The venue is colorful and festive. It was perfect for a party of 100-200. Nice bar. The food was the best surprise. It was tasty and at the level I would expect at a pricy Italian restaurant. I was especially a fan of the chicken balsamico and the penne ala vodka. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing. read more

To the owner of XO Lounge. I would like to share with you the horrible experience I had with my friends at your venue last night for a birthday party we had. From the time we walked in we barely got a smile from the host. Your bartenders were rude and unfriendly. When you pay over $10.00 for a driknk you would expect a smiling face greeting you. The place was not that packed yet you had 4 bartenders behind the bar and people STILL waiting for drinks because some bartenders were just standing around talking....This was all before we even sat down to eat. Between ordering the food and arrival it was almost 2 hours. Like I said before the place was not even that busy. The portions were TINY. I got the chicken breast, which was a thin piece of chicken, 3 pieces of potato, and a few vegetables. We all laughed at the plates when they came out, which were scattered. From the fist plate to hit to the table to the last took over 20 minutes. We ordered a pizza appetizer that was brought out with dinner then had our rude waitress tell us we didn't specify we wanted it as an app....IT WAS FROM YOUR APPETIZER MENU. You would think with a group of almost 20 people we would be treated better knowing we were bringing you a lot of money, boy were we wrong. Yes we got 2 bottles of cheap champagne and shots of fireball that we were very grateful for. What would have been even better was an owner or manager to come over and apologize to the group. We were treated like crap the entire evening. Your only saving grace was an AWESOME bartender by herself who was KILLING it at the other bar. Friendly smile when I walked up, talked to everyone and kept it moving. Clearly your other people need to be trained by her, and just trained in general on proper hospitality! You should have had at least 2 wait staff for our large group, or at least a crew who can manage a larger group. Was this your first big party? Our group goes out OFTEN and is very active on social media. You can be sure we will NEVER step foot in your place again and make sure none of our friends do either! I just read the review from the guy below and thought I was writing my own review... I was also there this past Saturday and literally had the same experience. I was there for a friends birthday, about 17 of us, the sad excuse for food came out all cold and 3 people didn't get their entrees til about 20 minutes after us. I'm really not one to complain but come on guys if you're going to market this place as a super supper club then I would suggest that you at least get it out hot or at all. But thank you for the cheap bottles of champagne and fireball shots. All and all I had a great time after dancing and having drinks with friends. I would skip the dinner tho and go somewhere else especially for a large group. read more

I would recommend xo lounge to go out for drinks and to dance but not to eat. The service was horrible and the food came out cold - there were 15 of us and we were all not happy. read more

This place sucks!!! It's a bunch of old fat and ugly 30 plus year old men and women at a club who think they are so cool. They have loads of tables in the middle of the floor for people to eat before partying and then their are chairs along the wall by the Dj booth then the dance floor. So you don't know if it's a high school party or like a club...awkward. The music is alright we had a Joe Pesci from good fellas and Steve Austin look alike roll to our group trying to dance with us like playa what you doin? Your nasty looking and old like ew get away go to sleep homies. I peaced out and went to the bar. Will I come back? I'll come back if nsync ever reunites which is never! BYE! read more

I had heard a few negative things about this place so when my friends decided to throw their party here I wasn't expecting great things. It was very slow for a Saturday which I actually don't mind because we were there for our event. The music was ok. Our tab was outrageously high for the amount we had and the bartender said they had no way to provide me an itemized receipt. Either this place is incredibly overpriced or we got ripped off..either way I am Never going back. read more

Horrible place! Doesn't even deserve one star! Negative only! Food was awful and we paid for 80 people and they obviously got it only for like 50 people our guests were staying in the line for drinks and everyone were complained Very disappointed and would never recommend it to anyone! I was here two Saturday's ago and it's my new favorite place! The bartenders were really sweet and made an amazing sangria! I was served very quickly. I also sat down to have dinner and I had the best skirt steak I've ever had. The server was very friendly and very attentive for our dining needs. She was very busy but made sure we had everything we needed. After we finished dinner we stayed for drinks and had an amazing time! The DJ played a mix of everything I love and everyone there was great and fun! I met the owner who was managing the bar all night and she was great! Even gave us a free round of shots. The place is gorgeous and I will be returning for sure for another amazing night! read more

We had our holiday party there in 2017 and the associates were less than pleased. First the drinks were over priced. The dj played too much Spanish music and only a few songs that were released in 2017. Also we had to pay for security which in 20 yrs of throwing parties for my company, we have never been required to have in any other establishment. The security was rude. We were also assure we would have enough tables and chairs set up as there is another small cocktail room we were told on 2 separate occasions we would have access to and much to our surprise, there was not enough seating, the extra tables were not set up and my Store Manager was told that the discussion was never had. the entire party cost about 2 grand more than our other stores whose parties were at higher end banquet halls. Needless to say we will not be contracting this establishment in the future. read more

After reading the posted reviews, sounds like people are reviewing different establishments. I know the location was a steak house, before it became a supper club (which seems most are referring to in their complaints, I think). I am shopping for a birthday event and XO is in the top 3 of consideration. XO is a private catering/event establishment. Val (the owner) has been very responsive to voice and email questions, accommodating with requests, going above and beyond other event coordinators I've met. If I choose to hold my event at XO, I will update my post. read more

XO Lounge is a great place to grab dinner and drinks after a long work week. Have gone a few times with friends and have never had a bad experience. Great food and staff. The bartenders and servers always made us feel welcomed!! Cant wait to go back and enjoy another night with friends :) read more
