I've been here before and knew they only took appointments. I scheduled my appt 3 weeks in advance at 5pm on a Friday. The waiting room is packed and the next person they choose at 5:20 is a girl for her 5:30 appt. Extremely unprofessional for a place that takes mostly appts and for there to be over a 15 minute wait for appointments. I know plenty of places that have more respect for their customer base. I wanted to LOVE this nail bar. It was a beautiful atmosphere and my nail tech was the sweetest...but my pedicure was subpar. I paid for the XO special that is highly recommended, it comes with callous remover and sugar scrub, but my feet literally were barely touched. I usually love the feeling of my soft feet after a great pedicure but leaving here my feet were no different really. I even had to ask my nail tech to add lotion after painting because my heels looked dry. My suggestion is to spend more time playing n your client, we come to feel good. I will probably give them another try and just request they spend a little more time scrubbing/soaking. On the plus side, my paint and color were super cute! read more

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. I went in with my 9 year old daughter for a special treat of a manicure for her and pedicure for me. That was stated when we checked in. What we each were getting. They then asked if I wanted regular polish or gel, my daughter wanted gel so we went with gel. Less than 5 min. and her "manicure" is finished. All they did was slap polish on her nails and charged me $25, no manicure (no file, no cuticle clean up, nothing). When I disputed the charge they said that I didn't specify that I wanted a manicure, isn't it implied in a nail salon?!? I would not go here if it were the last place on earth to get my nails done. Also worth mentioning is that the dude putting polish on my 9yo daughter proceeded to say multiple curse words under his breath when he forgot something/messed up 2-3 different times, he was loud enough for her to hear. I have been to XO about 6 times and today is my last. I called mid week to book an appt with John who I like and prefer. I got here at 3:55 pm and told the checkin person I had appt with John. John was floating around doing nothing. He came to me and Asked me to have a seat and someone will be with you. I said " I have an appt with you" He said go see that person he does a great job. Very disappointed with the quality of acrylic nails. I never ever complain or even leave reviews but this was the worst nail experience I've ever had. I got acrylic dip with tips and they lasted just 8 days before they literally started snapping off where they had glued on the top. Because I was on vacation (over seas) at the time I couldn't go back until almost 2 weeks after my original appointment. At which time they told me I would have to pay to get them redone because their policy is a 7 day guarantee (convenient considering I had already told them my nails broke on the 8th day after getting them done). I explained I was over seas and couldn't come get them fixed right away and that my nails typically hold up for almost a month where as these broke off after 8 days. But they insisted it was a 7 day guarantee only. I should have known they wouldn't be good quality when they were easily bending and flimsy when I had them done the first time but I gave them the benefit of the doubt hoping the powder would set and make them durable. I was wrong. I asked if there was a partial refund or anything they could do but I had to pay to get the broken nails fixed. Don't waste $50-$70 on nails that are going to last you a week, definitely not worth the money for the cheap cheap quality of their nails you will receive. read more

I was excited to find this cutely decorated place when I moved here. Unfortunately, only the first visit went well. Out of 5 visits only two were what I would consider a good experience. Twice my nails were shaped so crooked I hid them and it drove me nuts seeing them. The final straw was when I made an appointment with (my only good manicurist) and ended up with a different person. I was very friendly during the process in which he made no attempt to address me at all, did not acknowledge me speaking to him ( I chalked it up to a language barrier during the service) THEN when I went to pay this person whom ignored me rudely the entire time spoke perfectly good English telling me how much and where to add his tip!! Enough is enough. The decor is great but the customer service leaves little to desire. read more

Never going back. I came across XO Nails on Yelp last week as I was looking for a new salon to try closer to my house. The reviews were good and the photos looked great so on Thursday I gave them a call and scheduled 2 pedicure appointments for my boyfriend and I on Friday at 4pm. We arrived at the salon at 3:55pm and there were 4 girls ahead of us at the front desk checking in. The receptionist asked us if we had an appt and we said yes and she told us to go wash our hands. While doing so we saw one of my best friends getting her nails done and stopped to say hi. We then went back up to the front desk and checked in on the iPad at 4:02, she told us to have a seat in the waiting area. Immediately upon entering the building it was clear that every staff member was with a customer and none looked to be wrapping up anytime soon. We sat waiting on the couches until 4:25 (with no "sorry we are running behind" or " sorry for the wait we will be with you shortly")... we were then sat in two pedicure chairs and finally at 4:35 someone came over to start my boyfriends pedicure while I sat there until 4:45 until anyone even said they would be right with me... my water was cold at this point. My boyfriend ended up having to wait 15 min for me to finish mine since they started his before mine. We purchased the XO signature pedi for $35 each for our feed to feel as if we hadn't gotten a fresh pedi within the last 10min. Meanwhile, customers continue to flood in the building and yet not a single staff members appears to be aval or finishing up anytime soon. Following the pedi we went up to pay and I decided I should very politely say something about a 45mjn wait when we had a scheduled appointment. The receptionist said "oh really? Let me go tell someone." .... a lady comes back to the font (not sure if she was a manager or not) and we explained to her what had happened and she said "well it's the weekend we are very busy. You will have to wait whether you have an appointment or not." ....I'm sorry that is not acceptable. First, there was no I'm sorry or how can we make it right from other staff member. She instead put the blame on her two new customers implying we should have known better that if we made an appointment on a Friday afternoon we were going to have to wait. Waiting 5-10 min is one thing. Apologizing for the wait or giving us a warbling that they were running behind us one thing. But to act as if a 45 min wait for an appointment is ok is not ok at all. I will not be going back to XO nails not will I ever recommend to encourage someone to go. read more

More than one person recommended XO and I am so disappointed in my experience. Making an appointment online was so easy and convenient. I scheduled for 4 pm and I called ahead to let them know I'd be 10 minutes late due to traffic, they were understanding and I was helped as soon as I got there. 3 different nail techs asked if I wanted dip with tips to which i answered yes every time. My nail tech was doing too many different things at once (taking off my old dip and putting on new dip to adjacent nails) I quickly learned that they were "so tired," "cant wait to go home," and "can't stay awake" from how often they said so (i get it, but incredibly rude) either way, it was apparent in their work because each of my nails are different shades/transparency and they didn't apply fake tips and I couldn't remind them before they already started applying the dip powder. On top of that, they started to cut a couple nails and didn't continue to trim the rest. My nails were all different lengths to begin with--that's why I wanted them trimmed and tips added. I had one nail that was so broken and short that I had expected they'd at least put a fake tip on that one (definitely heard me I wanted tips--figured maybe they assumed just on that one AT LEAST). They put powder on it anyway and I had to stop them and say I need a tip on it (???) I asked for one accent glitter nail which they didn't remember until the very end when I said something. At this point all my nails had a top coat and felt smooth to the touch, except the accent nails. They were clearly unfinished and were gritty to the touch (from the course powder). The nail tech put oil on my cuticles and I asked if they would put a clear coat on top of the glitter to which they were frustrated with me because they thought I would want the accent nail to feel rough and clearly look unfinished-i couldn't believe they weren't joking. I had to wash my hands of course to remove the oil before they could do so. I really do not ask for a lot but I've never had to because I've never had a manicure like this one. Expecting to pay $35 but was charged $45. When I asked why it was $45, they said $5 for accent (that's fine, I expected this but I'm used to not paying for one accent finger that was just glittery), $5 for length (this is unacceptable--I was willing to pay this if I had TIPS on to which I asked for, my nails are not long hence why I wanted them. You're telling me its $5 for tips and $5 if you dont get tips too? Ridiculous) AND they said they gave me my shape for free. This is in fact bull because my nails were already coffin shaped from my previous dip set. I have naturally narrow fingernails so every time I get them done, I ask for a slight file on the sides because any more and they'd be too skinny. And they weren't grown out from my last dip set, I only got my nails redone because of that one broken nail and I wanted a new color for NYE tomorrow. I know this place has potential because another nail tech was looking over my nail tech's shoulder, probably thinking the same thing I was. I know you can find better than this place read more

I am in LOVE with this nail salon. It is beautiful, big, and has tons of options. They are the kindest family and take really great care of you. The first time I went in they were really sweet and i had the best gel manicure I've ever had! The second time I went in with my daughter and they were so much fun and helpful. I just appreciate nail salons who are excited and kind when you walk in, not crabby. There are tons of massage chairs so you never have to wait. My daughters x3, Mom and I went here to get our nails done for a big celebration. After showing them pictures of what we wanted, only one of the five of us were totally satisfied. I asked for a French manicure and asked if they could make the nail part just a little more pink than plain clear (once again, showed a picture). I ended up paying $45 for bright pink nail polish with a little white tip. Not what I wanted. They charged me an additional $20 to change the polish. I was desperate and other shops were closing so I had to do it. They refused to do a nail polish change on my toes bc they messed up and were closing (I even said I would have someone do it at the table I was sitting at) , even though there was 45 minutes until closing time. However, other employees had time to make Tik Tok videos and talk to the guy doing my nails in Vietnamese about me (they kept looking at me and my nails). read more
