When my car needed immediate attention AAA asked if I wanted a AAA certified shop to handle my…read moreneeds. I immediately said yes. When the tow truck took me and my car to this shop it was just not the best looking place. In the emergency I was in I let it go and called them the next day. The owner told me what was wrong and I was happy with the fact that he seemed to know what he was doing. So far so good. Fast forward 2 1/2 months and several calls that he made up excuses to not have my car ready I seriously knew the value of this location was poor. He would yell over the phone to me about my needs of my car. He would make excuses to me about why the parts weren't ready. He would cover over and over. Horrible service. I told him to put my car back together and I would tow it to the dealership. The dealership calls me and says "do you know you have transmission gears in the back of your car?" And I was floored. Champions Certified Car Care is not a place to go to for help. He kept making excuses because he didn't know how to fix my car and left gears in the back of my car. When the dealer called him and asked "why didn't you just tell him he needed a new transmission" the owner said "well I thought of that". Avoid this place!!!! Avoid it at all costs. Just go to your dealer. Pay the extra cost for the parts and get a warranty and peace of mind. I talked with AAA to get his AAA rating removed because nobody should go through this ever. On top of it all he said he wouldn't release my vehicle if I didn't pay $150 for a diagnostic fee when the law clearly states he can't hold a vehicle for longer than 60 days.

My husband is a medically retired Army veteran who served 21 years in the U.S. Army. We trusted a…read morelocal automotive repair shop with his Mini Cooper and paid approximately $6,100 for repairs. The vehicle remained at the shop for over a year, and throughout that time we were repeatedly told that repairs were being completed. When the vehicle was finally returned to us, it continued to have the same issues it had when it was originally dropped off. We recently sought an independent inspection from a certified Mini Cooper technician and were informed that many of the repairs we paid for do not appear to have been performed. According to the technician, the vehicle remains in substantially the same condition as before. We have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the shop but have not received a satisfactory explanation or resolution. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's Office. I am sharing this because I wish someone had warned us. If you are considering major repairs on your vehicle, I strongly encourage you to obtain detailed documentation, ask for old parts to be returned, and consider getting a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs. If anyone in the Kingwood area has had a similar experience, I would appreciate hearing from you.

We've trusted the first two shops for years and have always taken our vehicles there, so we were surprised when we got such a different diagnosis. A friend recommended West Lake Houston Automotive, and we decided to give them a chance. After properly diagnosing the issue, they found the real problems: an oil pan issue and a bad passenger CV joint. They replaced both for a total of $817 out the door. The Pilot is running like new again! Huge shoutout to West Lake Houston Automotive for their honesty, professionalism, and for taking the time to actually diagnose the problem instead of jumping straight to a major repair. Highly recommend them -- 10/10

YELP Review for Hunter Cavieves - North Freeway Hyundai…read more 20440 I-45 North Spring, TX 77373 North Freeway Hyundai I45 I went to look at Hyundai vehicles back in late December '25 and Hunter Cavieves came over and assisted me with looking at different Hyundai models. I went in to look at one particular model and before I knew it he had me looking at others. He was a great help at giving me different options and I even test drove several different models. I narrowed it down to a 2026 Tucson and he also assisted in getting my price as to what I was willing to pay. I finally decided which one I wanted and it was actually parked in the showroom floor with a fancy red Christmas ribbon on it. I came by later that evening with my youngest daughter and finalized the purchase. He has been the greatest and biggest help and I highly recommend working with him. I have been driving it for 8 months now and I am really impressed and enjoying my Tucson. I enjoy everything about it and have been on short road trips and it's been great. The ride is very comfortable and it's also loaded with many features. The stereo sounds awesome too! I really like the screen set up and all the cameras and its different angles. I stopped by to get an oil change at the dealership and Hunter saw me and came by to see how everything was going. I can't brag enough but he is a great person and very friendly. He is currently working in the OnLine Sales Dept and his office is in the front showroom floor. If you're interested in looking at vehicles I highly recommend talking to him. My two previous Service Dept visits were also great. My visits were for an oil change and also a system update. Audry and Mia were very friendly and kept me updated as to what the service Dept was working on and approximately how long the work would take. I found out that Mia is no longer working there but just wanted to also brag about her as well. I feel that my 2026 Tucson is a great vehicle and it's a solid one!
