Despite the first interaction not being the greatest I gave them another shot... this time reading yelp for someone mentioned in good reviews... I asked for that girl and for her to do a full set (ended up being the owner). She was okay. She was nice and got my nail shape right however AGAIN I walked out with excess product all over my hands.... Acrylic powder under my nails... gel all over my skin and paid $70+ to yet again have to go home and clean it up myself... then the next day I noticed my gel polish bubbling like it was old... Mind you I am a licensed cosmetologist in a different state (we just moved here so I haven't moved it to TX yet) so I'm very educated in the process of nail servicing and sanitation measurements needing to be taken ... I just like to have other people do it as it's much easier and usually relaxing... it was NOT easier or relaxing either time, because I had to go home to fix them somehow. I hate to be negative because the owners were kind but no one should have to go home and fix the mess you made on their nails when they are paying for you to do the service. So based just on location and no real recommendation, we decided to give it a try. Wow!! The customer service is top notch! They took good care of us, and sat us immediately. Yes... yes I know... Instill get looks when ladies see me sitting down getting a back massage in the chairs and a mean pedicure, but screw it, I say! It's actually more and more common these days, as it's great bonding time with my Queen AND I get my feet to looking and feeling better. Anyway, the place offers a type of calm and serenity, even with a stocked mini bar, which we took advantage of. The pedicure came with a bit of a foot and leg massage and man... that was the best part!! Felt amazing. I do think my gal went a little clip happy on my nails, but you know what? They should and would know what's best for my toenails and I just went with it. Long story short, we enjoyed our down time with a drink, conversations, chair massages, and excellent service.
