They took my phone, did their "work," & when they handed it back, they casually mentioned, "Oh, we can't fix the thumbprint, but we can order it for you." How is that solving my problem? They went from quoting me $140 to $120. Great. However, just minutes after leaving, my home button stopped pressing smoothly, it got stuck & I had to press hard to get it to respond. Went back to show them, & of course, they did nothing. So now, I'm left with a broken button/thumbprint sensor & a $120 hole in my wallet. ___________________________ One-Week Update: The home button detached like it was trying to flee the scene. Now it's just a sad, useless piece of plastic. ___________________________ Three-Month Update: My phone has become a drama queen, losing battery faster than I can charge it & restarting every few minutes like it's auditioning for a reboot. Took it somewhere else to get fixed, & guess what? They informed me my side plates were missing. So yeah, this place decided my phone was a buffet & took parts without asking. How can we even know what they're doing when they take the phone to the back? Watch your back & your phone, because they might be "rearranging" things without you knowing. Good luck, but if you enjoy fixing someone else's mess after you pay them, this place might just be your cup of tea.

Buyers Beware I brought my smartphone to Phone Repair…read moreAmbulance (Westchase) on July 27th for a battery replacement. Their employee was obnoxious and overconfident. Once I returned home my phone read "NO SIM CARD FOUND" and the phone edges were chewed up. This same employee forgot to re-install the "SIM CARD" which disabled my phone for nearly 24 hrs. I returned the following day and this same employee tossed this SIM CARD onto the countertop causing the SIM CARD and SIM CARD HOLDER to separate. I walked out disappointed and noticed the phone still read "NO SIM CARD FOUND" while at my vehicle, so I walked back in and this employee stated, "You forgot your SIM CARD." This employee damaged my phone's backplate, failed to install my SIM CARD disabling my phone for nearly 24 hrs, and never implemented any professionalism or integrity. He then blamed me for all his mistakes. Once home I inspected my phone more closely and noticed more damage done by this employee taking my phone apart to install the new battery. I reached out asking for assistance with the damages, and I was ignored, therefore I wrote them a negative review. This employee eventually returned my call putting all the blame on me and stated I was rude. I asked to speak with his manager and he refused and hung up. A few days later his manager called me, but only spoke broken English. His primary concern was having me delete my negative review and he had no interest in his employee mistakes. Plus, this Phone Repair Ambulance (Westchase) manager refused to replace my phone's backplate his employee broke until I agreed to delete my review. I decided to watch a YouTube video and even order parts from Amazon, and NOT delete my review. Phone Repair Ambulance (Westchase) is extremely unprofessional and has zero integrity. These two (2) employees are essentially criminals, therefore Buyers Beware! Sincerely, Howard Venuto Retired Firefighter

I'm glad I walked around Hong Kong Mall when the original cell phone repair shop I found on Google across from Six Ping Bakery was not opened like their 10am sign said (found out they are new owners that took over the previous shop that had the reviews I saw on Google). Had to call them and the man on the phone didn't seem kind/ friendly. I think all things happen for a reason and I found Thanh Phat/ Duy's shop- a much better place with honest people who work fairly quick too. I went to this location on July 10th for an iPhone screen repair. They quoted me two options, 1st option was $99, and 2nd option was $189. I paid for the $189 option. I have an iPhone 15 pro max. I asked could they provide a screen protector with the service and they agreed. I dropped my phone off and someone else picked it up for me. Of course the screen protector was not provided. I went out of town the next day. Fast forward to Monday, July 21st and my phone cracks in the corner. I immediately called the store and to figure out what was the warranty details. They provided a 30day warranty and of course he says it will not be covered. So I proceed to let him know that was unacceptable and how i never received my screen protector from start but and I had went out of town the next day so I couldn't go back. So at first it quotes me $75 and I'm still giving pushback and he says he'll just replace it. I told him I couldn't go to take my information and I would come to the store on Wednesday, July 23rd 2:30. He agreed. Now here is where I went wrong. I didn't get his name. It's only two men in the store to my knowledge, so I figured I would know who it was by face. I get to the store on Wednesday and the guy who originally I dealt with on July 10th was there alone. He said the guy I spoke to was not there and didn't tell him anything. So now I'm annoyed because I drove there for no reason. I left my name and number again and said I would be back Friday July 25th. I just get a phone call from the guy I spoke to on Monday and of course he's now denying everything he said! Go figure! Unprofessional BS Service at its finest! I hate liars and ppl who do not stick to their word! I should've just went to Apple instead of listening to ppl! Never will I ever make such a mistake like this! To the two men that work at this store, screw you!
