I never thought I would write a review about Xfinity. Nevertheless, the store experience was easy, fun, and wonderful. David helped me out, and not only was he helpful, but he was also extroverted, vibrant, and a fun person to talk to while we waited for my router. I expected to have to pay, but nope! ‍ I haven't had internet in over A MONTH. However, he got me on the right path in less than a few hours. Thank you so much David. P.S! I do not have an issue with the Comcast store. Instead, it's the entire company and services. Not much has worked correctly since I signed up with them. The technicians who have come out over these months have done horrible jobs. Also the internet worked extremely slow on my computer as well as streaming on TV. It's hard to get in touch with a human being when calling. Overall, this was a hellified experience that I've gone through with Comcast. Today, my Grandson and I went to drop off our old equipment since we recently received new ones via FedEx. It was great to be able to check in to smiling faces eager to assist you. We were greeted by Deja, Alayah, and Loitia! These ladies were wonderful, friendly,patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. As I hobbled into the check-in kiosk, My Grandson saw the tvs and beautiful red chairs and immediately ran to go "to the movies." I'm using a cane, so I can't run after him as fast, but I'm grateful the ladies were there to distract him with a Sing2 Gift box. I have been an Xifinity customer for nearly 30 yrs in 2 states. I really love the deals for existing customers and the bundling of alarm, cable service, and internet. Life is expensive, so it's good to know that Xifinity is there to assist if you ever need to rearrange or downsize your services. Another great fact about Xfinity: is that we have never lost service in 7 years ( knock on wood), so it's safe to say that service is consistent and reliable, which is pretty phenomenal! Within minutes, my boxes were scanned, removed from my account,and I was all set!! Not enough characters for me to relay how awful this service is. The people at this location are very friendly but so unimpressed with the company as a whole. It took me nearly 8 weeks, three different modems, and nine different trips to retail locations to finally get Wi-Fi at my condo. It was only through my own persistence that I was not billed a separate fee for each new modem they gave me... And the two extra tech trips they made just to try and make it work. People at the locations were incredibly helpful but they seemed to be encumbered by the equipment or the process. The worst part, when I actually committed the 45 minute to one hour to wait on hold and talk to a live person in desperation... I was kicked out of the queue three separate times. If I could get Wi-Fi from any other provider at my current location I would. If you can, skip this one. read more

The reviews should scare you they are the worst you cannot speak to a person who knows what they doing they don't want to give you a receipt when you turn stuff in and I personally have spent over 24 hours trying to speak to various folks n chatted on line and had technicians come out and they are extremely not helpful they are constantly thanking you for your patience but to no avail. My mother is 88 and even though they found out it was their box that was bad and they're splitter they're still not going to credit her for the two weeks she was without a phone . We went to visit this Xfinity store to exchange the modem and cable box for newer/updated versions, and also wanted to see about renewing our cable contract. What we received were just the updated equipment. As we both inquired about wanting a cheaper bill, for a new contract, we were told to contact Xfinity on the phone. Really. How unhelpful can they be? Obviously it's easy for them. Add on the first attempted visit, the store was open but they had computer problems and could not service customers. Then close the doors. So we came back the next week, and traded in equipment. It appears this new flashy Xfinity store is here to capture new customers, but nothing for long term customers like us. Made appointment online for 10:15. Checked in at the store online at 10. Saw three employees go in the store at 10. Many people were already in line (did they have apppointments?? Who knows). Not one person was let in the store as I waited until 10:30. Decided to leave and mail back my equipment. Xfinity is really good with customer service. Everytime I've come here, I have had friendly service. You have to check in at the front counter then they put you in the queue to be seen. I really liked that they have a TV especially for the queue. You can see what number you are in line and it keeps you from wondering what's going on. I didn't take a picture of it but now I wish I would've. When I was actually seen, the employee was very friendly. She made conversation that didn't seem forced. I really liked her. Anyways, if Xfinity serviced my location, I would stick with their service. Unfortunately, they don't. But this is a good place should you need to visit them for an issue. read more

I like being able to take care of everything in one place and have the customer service that they provide to be able to help in person and answer all of my questions. Then we had someone come to our house to fix something and we were told numerous times it would be free of charge since it was on there end. Well turns out we were charged another $100. I deal only with Zachary at this store and he is by far the absolute best. He always remembers me and my account making transactions super fast and easy. We went in yesterday to update our account. He helped us right away and got us in an out in about 10 minutes. Zachary gets five stars, Comcast gets zero, hence the 4 star review. read more

I can not even begin to describe how terrible this business is. Unfortunately I relocated to a community in 2015 that only allowed this business for cable. I was dissatisfied with them from the day of installation. The tech that came out, repeated over and over that he was just the installation guy, that he wasn't getting paid to troubleshoot. I requested cable in my living room and bedroom. They could not get a signal in the living room and was never able to do so, so I went for a year without service in my living room. I moved a year later and was charged an early termination which I understood, but I had a credit on my account because I paid the last bill, and the final bill was prorated. I received a credit which agreed to my final bill. A year later, I received a collection letter for unreturned equipment....I am happy I kept all of my final bills. The first bill showed where I was charged for the unreturned equipment, the second bill showed where I was credited for unreturned equipment, then the final bill showed the credit due to me as a refund. Long story short, the charges were removed from my credit report, and the balance supposedly cleared. Yesterday a different collection agency contacted me, and I again had to submit a dispute. I tried contacting Comcast and was told the system has been purged of all notes, so it would be best for me to take off and visit the store in person to discuss my issue. (Another inconvenience). I will never do business with this company again, they are unprofessional and have serious issues with how they conduct business. read more

Poor customer service. The automated service is just as good as talking to dirt. They hold bill credits due. I have already sent a complaint to the BBB to get resolved. I left my house angry at the service quality I was getting (internet cutting off, tv freezing), the wait in the lobby wasn't long for being kind of crowded. It's nicely done and well staffed, and some of the employees are down right fun and entertaining. Needless to say, I calmed down, received excellent service and had a good laugh with one of the ladies who had a great sense of humor. Although the tv packages are kind of pricey for what you get, they seem to even it out by having excellent service and a nice store location. Im very disappointed with Comcast! I have now been without power and internet since Friday. They offer no time table to when it will be back on. On top of that, I'm charged a "sports fee and regional broadcast fee" every month which I was not told about. I was told my bill would be $120 a month and I'm paying well above that. read more

This is NOT a review of the store or it's employees there. This is about the service from Xfinity Mobile. I was lied to be a customer service rep to change over from my current phone provider (Straight Talk) because they had a better deal than what I had. I was told I had to get a new phone to have this service, even though the phone I had was only 2 months old. I was told my charge would be $26.95 for unlimited talk and text but I wasn't told that it was for only 1 GB of data. Halfway through Feb I burned through that and I got charged ANOTHER $15 for another 1 GB of data. Plus I'm paying off a $180 phone. So I called to cancel the phone plan. To say it was excruciating is a light term - trying to talk to a "real person" took hours; then when I did they read from a script and I couldn't understand half of what they said. I had to call back twice to get a transfer code, and when I did and got a new provider they said it was all I needed. ANOTHER LIE! Once I got my new SIM card and got my new provider up and running I got a message that my phone was LOCKED by Xfinity and I had to contact them to get ANOTHER CODE to unlock it. I tried that night via a chat text with Xfinity, but got disconnected. At this point, my phone is useless, since I cannot make or receive any calls or texts. I'm paying for a new provider that I cannot use either. I went to this Xfinity store on Thursday morning and a lady was kind enough to let me use an office to call Xfinity to request my phone to be unlocked. I talked to a man named Jim who put in the request and he said it could take up to 24 hours to be unlocked. 24 hours without a phone. At work I called again around 3 PM since it was still locked. I talked to Aya who looked up my account, saw the request had been made and told me that it would be AT LEAST 24-48 HOURS before it would be unlocked! So my phone is being held hostage by Xfinity. This is how our world is being run - by "virtual assistants" who can't help, by "customer service reps" on the phone who are from halfway across the world and follow a script and can't help at all. As of right now, Friday at 10:30 AM my phone is still locked and I keep checking my email for a message from Xfinity with a code to unlock my phone. Who knows, they might wait all weekend before they send it to me. I can't get in touch with my son who's 200 miles away or any of my family who live out of state; I can't use my Google maps so the past two days I've sat in traffic on 1-26 with major accidents because I had no idea what was going on. So if you want to be lied to, charged $15 for each 1 GB of data you use AND when you get so aggravated you want to switch providers you get your phone held hostage then by all means try Xfinity. It was the WORST decision I have made in a long time and regret every leaving Straight Talk! Just Beware! read more

This company is unscrupulous. During the Covid-19 outbreak where people were told to stay home and were out of work, Xfinity actually went up $20 on my bill. How am I supposed to pay an extra $20 if I'm made to stay home and layed off from work. These people are nothing more that insensitive crooks. I was told the increase was a local broadcast fee. They just went up three months ago which I was told was a local broadcast fee. Come on now, how can this be? This is THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I CAN REMEMBER having in recent times. First I was coming in to the store to upgrade a modem, you would think this to be a quick and simple task and it was. I picked up the modem but then I was told by two representatives that they have a promotion going for a free iPhone 12. Me knowing this is too good to be true asked them what is the catch and they go on to tell me as long as I am able to pay the taxes and continue to stay with xfinity as my service provider for two years. So actually thinking Xfinity may actually be doing something good for their bundle account holders. I asked again and told the reps I already have all my service through xfinity and do not have another number to port and if it would be ok if I just add to my existing line and the reps said again that is fine all I will need to do is pay the taxes and keep the service for 2 years. I then ask what happens if I do not like the phone can I return it they said as long as it is within 14 days so I agree to this. A couple of days go by and I receive the phone in the mail and activate it. Once done activating it I go to check my account and low and behold around $600 left to pay on the device. Fast forward one week later and I am back in the store to return the phone, I get to the register and tell the rep the situation. She cuts me off while I am telling her what happened to say ok you are giving me a long story do u want to cut the line or refund the phone. It confused me because I'm thinking you really just cut me off mid sentence and don't give a crap about my situation. So I essentially tell her I need to refund & try to tell her what was going on and she asks who told u that. I give her the card that I was givin last time I came to the store and she rolls her eyes and let's me know it will be a few of $35 to restock the phone. I then ask for a manager and the manager lets me know that I should have known it wasn't free after I tell him the full situation. At that point I am still calm trying not to become irate. I let them know I was under the belief it was due to me being a customer with cable internet and phone service from the company maybe they were trying to keep me around longer with all the crap I have already been through with the company I finally get some type of deal. I also knew the new iPhone 14 was coming out soon and maybe if I liked the free phone there would be no need. I originally came in around 12 and had to go back to my house and come back because I left the charger out of the box and had to go get it. I come back to return the phone again, was going to return the phone to go ahead and get the iPhone 14 pro and have not even been assisted, people have come in after me and been serviced and left. The manager is nowhere in sight and here I am 4:16 standing in the lobby on my last day off of the week with the same representative walking back and forth past me multiple times not saying a word to me after each customer she services. I don't believe I can truly adequately put into words how I feel about this experience, and the mobile customer service honestly wasn't much better when I spoke with them. I hope nobody else has to ever go through this experience it changes my entire outlook on the company XFINITY and COMCAST as a whole. read more

I cancelled my plans for the day. The nice tech stated they couldn't provide service because my house is too far from the pole on our street. We would have to pay a construction company to place another pole closer to our house. I told him nicely. I wasn't going to talk to him about it, I may say something rude. I tell him my hubby will call and deal with it later, I am NOT. He then insists on asking for my husband's cell phone to have his supervisor call him. Are you kidding?
