Been going to them for over 16 years for watch battery replacement. Over the years I've noticed that the cost has more than doubled, but service kept declining. In my opinion, the problem Is that every time you go in there's new people behind the counter. They are not trained properly. Seems like they hate their job. One could not take off the back of my watch, told her the other person could, she said I'm not that person! One other time they could not get the front off the watch, said they did not have the right tool..really?. I have many watches for battery replacement, they would not entertain a bundled price. The customer service I have received has been awful. They broke my watch replacing a battery...and it has now been two weeks and they still haven't repaired it. My car notified me that the battery in my key fob was low, and I was starting to ignore it, but then realized that someday soon I may be locked out of my car or if in my car, would lack the ability to start my car, so I started looking for batteries. I found the right battery, but then, looking at the key fob, I didn't trust myself to open it without breaking it. I called BPB and they said they could do it in about a minute, with no programming of the key fob required. No joke, he was done in about a minute. Showoff. If you need some answers or help on electronics they are a good response to check out as the staff here is very knowledgeable and patient with you. It is good to get important electronics functional again when they are not working and they have come to the rescue on more than one occasion. Went in for a cell phone screen replacement and dealt with 4 different workers . Each with a varying level of customer service . The nicest and most helpful employee was Taylor - he was super nice , informative , personable and knowledgeable. Taylor needs a raise because his customer service skills are far superior to his counterparts. Two of the employees I dealt with were slightly condescending and not helpful and pushy with trying to get me to purchase other things. When I asked if they sold mophies, they did not sell them & one employee bashed them saying they ruin your battery . When I asked him to explain , I stated his reasoning could be applied to any external battery pack(ones they sell) and he just said mophie made it easier to charge incorrectly (per his reasoning). Sounded like a bunch of bs to me. They have a good variety of battery options, sound systems and cell phone accessories just understand their customer service can be hit or miss . read more

Terrible customer service and support. I used to be a loyal and regular customer. Brought my watch in for a battery and the technician broke the face. After 30 days Managerial staff stated it was still at the jeweler for repair. Contacted Batteries Plus Customer service and was told issue would be taken care of. Purchased Battery, Charger and power converter to power outdoor photo light. Did not work, and unfortunately I could not return the next day because, Batterries Plus does not allow returns on opened and used items. We tested and the converter would not even power a standard household lamp. I PURCHASED the upgrade and that too did not work. I reached out to the corporate offices of Batteries Plus in an attempt to return my $150 worth of useless merchandise, since it's their policy and store staff is simply doing as instructed. It has been almost a week and corporate said they have to reach out to the general manager to "investigate". It's a simple return! Still no word from a GM. 12-12-2019 : My car would not start yesterday morning so it was towed to the nearest auto shop. That shop let me know I needed my battery replaced and they were going to charge me 350 to replace and install an AGM battery! I called batteries plus and the gentleman, Andre, let me know they had an AGM available for 208 and it would be a free install and they would be open until 8 and to come anytime. When I arrived he met me immediately and the customer service was phenomenal! He educated me on my battery and even checked my alternator function and I couldn't have asked for a better price and it came with a mail in rebate. I will definitely go back there! read more

I was able to get an appointment online this morning for 9:30. Got there early and they immediately went to work replacing the battery for my IPhone. I still am not sure how badly I needed one but my phone just seemed to be using too much battery life and I need it working for longer periods of time than I seem to be getting. When you make an appointment online you get $10 off which brought the price down to $49 which I thought was very fair. They went above and beyond, checking all kinds of other functions on the phone and reported they worked fine. The girl who worked with me was very professional and courteous. IT took around 30 minutes and I just walked around the center while I waited. I would recommend them highly. read more

I must say, I am very impressed with the service BPB offers. I brought a Nokia watch in for a battery, but the next day I had a problem with it working. I brought it in and they immediately made it right. The service staff is very knowledgable. They have excellent communication within the business, so if you don't get the same person, the other employees are aware of the situation. Things go wrong. We wish they wouldn't but they do. This Batteries Plus store should be listed in the Cell phone repair section. They repaired my Samsung S5 for way cheaper than I was being quoted elsewhere. (Smashed, non responsive screen) There was an issue with the repair but they stood behind it and fixed it very fast. read more
