Avoid Xfinity at All Costs - Dishonest and Incompetent Customer Service, this is in general not a specific store. I've spent the last three days dealing with Xfinity's customer service--both through online chat and over the phone--and it has been an absolute nightmare. Every time I spoke with a representative, I was told they could lower my monthly payment without affecting my channels. That was a lie. Every single time they made changes, I lost channels--channels I specifically asked to keep. Each time I contacted them to fix the issue, they would apologize and promise to correct it--only to screw it up again in a new way. It's been a vicious cycle of broken promises, confusion, and total incompetence. I've wasted hours trying to get a straight answer and a consistent service, and I'm done. Their customer service is unreliable, misleading, and clearly not trained to actually resolve issues. Xfinity does not honor their word. They treat loyal customers like we're disposable. I strongly urge anyone considering them to look elsewhere. This company has been nothing but a massive disappointment. read more

We had the best experience at the 70 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen MA store last night! After purchasing a new iPhone at the Apple Store, we came here to get it activated and have everything transferred from the old phone. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Shanelle, who immediately started the process. She made everything easy and seamless from start to finish. We also purchased a screen protector, and she took the time to carefully apply it for us. Shanelle was professional, efficient, and truly went above and beyond. Just have to say. One of the most horrible customer service experiences that I have ever had . No help and hung up on many times. The only reason that they are in business is because they are a monopoly. I was in customer service for over 25 years and never had a horrible experience as xfinity has put me through. I was anxious going in after reading so many negative reviews. I booked an appointment online as recommended, I showed up early and was greeting within 10 seconds of walking in. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable and took care of my needs without issue in a timely fashion. They even gave my kids some Jurassic Park face masks! I would definitely recommend this location, do not let the naysayers keep you away. Parking lot is shared so you might have to park further than ideal, but totally not a factor, I found parking right in front. Xfinity Comcast has absolutely horrible customer service. They fired almost all of their American telephone support staff and replaced them with AI robots, or occasionally technicians from other countries. It has been a nightmare trying to find a human that we can speak to. No one should ever give a dime to this company. All they do is take your money and then ignore you. read more

I went in to return equipment. Front desk rep took my equipment and told me to sit down and I would be called. 30 minutes go by and nothing - others get called and I'm still waiting. I talk to the original rep about my equipment and she says "oh, you're all set"...What? You serious? Wasting a customer's time like this is unacceptable. This store failed. read more

Comcast is a cut throat type of business. They have absolutely no integrity or decency. One year into my two year contract they raised my monthly fee. After I called them and explain that I'm on a contract, and they cannot increase my monthly fee, they said the contract does not cover equipment rental. So I'm paying more money for old equipment. Comcast / Xfinity is probably the absolute Worst company I have ever had to deal with... used to be able to go to the small store in Haverhill and get your business done it 5 to 10 minutes.... been to this New, Bigger, flashy store with multiple workers... waited over 1hr each time just to change a very small secondary cable box... they make you wait obvisouly so you walk around the store and look at all the crap they want to sell you...... and when you call xfinity customer service; almost impossible to get a human on the phone... I cant stand this company.. total rip off with fees added to everything.... I miss the old days when a good antenna got you plenty of Free channels to get by on.... hence the reason they changed their name from Comcast to Xfinity.... attempting to get away from their previous awful reputation... like Datsun changed to Nissan years ago..... read more

This location is a joke. Molasses on ice moves faster than the employees at this location. if your not Hispanic you are automatically in the penalty box. These observations have been made over several years. constantly having to replace the junk equipment Comcast supplies. Last visit was over an hour wait to switch out the box. I went to the store to get a replacement device for my television cable service. While I had to wait for a while as it was a Saturday, the girl at the main counter was very courteous and recommended I have a seat while I was waiting and told me I would be next in line. It turned out that a male employee instead waited on me and he was extremely courteous and helpful and the transaction went with great speed. I have been to this store to replace another device about 2 years ago and they were very courteous to me and took care of replacing that device with expediency also. I had expected to wait a long time in line and that was not the case . I did not book an appointment either I just walked in. They follow Covid protocol exceptionally well with a lot of space between areas. read more

They need to come back to Haverhill is sad that they charge lot for there cable that is not that Great and you need to reset at least once s week and then when a Haverhill Resident need to return or replace or even pay a bill and some don't drive so methuen is a little far for them so they need to come back here and they can afford it because they make millions so come back here even if it's just a trailer but a proper store would be great read more

I thought my experience was unique until I read the other reviews on Yelp. They take your equipment and throw it in a box, then tell you to "Have a seat." Since I was only returning equipment, I found this unacceptable, and told the customer service person to return my equipment, which she did. It was at this point that she became annoyingly and rudely passive aggressive. Example: "May I please speak with the manager?" "I'm the assistant manager(smiles with incongruent tone of voice, passive aggressive)." Requested phone call from manager Michael Buch, which never occurred. Answers to questions from this "assistant manager," such as what was her name, the manager's name etc., were intentionally given at inaudible volume, necessitating frequent requests for her to repeat herself. The majority of Comcast employees do their best, but this sort of treatment is unacceptable in view of the fees we pay for service. The procedures at this store, and all of them for that matter, need to reflect a minimum level of service and customer friendliness, not hiding behind inefficient ways of doing things with no desire to help people, and no respect for customer's time. I'm awaiting Comcast's response as they promise to escalate this complaint. I would give this location zero stars but you have to pick one. Came to return my equipment that I was sent without asking for it (upgrade). I have to take a number with an estimated wait time of 23 minutes just for a receipt. This is B.S. everyone coming in after me asked the same thing. I have to wait 23 minutes for a receipt??? Incredibly bad customer service. UPDATE: waited 41 minutes and asked for my equipment back. Maybe I'll place a service call and have them come pick it up at my house??? Way quicker! read more

I went to drop off/return cable and internet equipment and after checking in they had me wait 40 minutes to simply give me a receipt say I'm all set after I confirmed the address. Something that took them 5min to do. Why isn't there a better system for returning equipments? A reasonable 20min wait is acceptable but 40min is too much. read more

Despite the automated Comcast phone line that does not list this site as a place you can return equipment, I was eventually able to confirm that equipment could be returned here. The store was busy, but I was able to return the equipment within 10 minutes and Chanel was very quick and polite. read more
