Your Customer service is lacking I request a refund due to an outrageous service change that was misleading and occurred after I lost my job. After discussing my situation with an Xfinity representative and seeking a more affordable phone plan, I was instead placed on a plan that has cost significantly more than my previous one. Despite my clear communication about LOSING MY JOB, my phone bill surged to approximately $847.25 for two months of service, which is far beyond my means. Specifically, my bills were as follows: August 22, 2024: $424.65 September 22, 2024: $422.60 (only offering a $120.00 credit from a manager based in Egypt) The representative did not adequately explain the costs associated with exceeding data limits, which led to unexpected charges of $20.00 for every GB over my plan--information I only learned after the charges had accumulated. Had I been fully informed, I would have reconsidered the options presented to me. In addition to my financial difficulties, I am facing significant personal challenges, including my mother's recent diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer and a compromise of my Bank of America account. The unexpected financial burden from Xfinity has added substantial stress during an already difficult time, making it harder for me to provide for my children and manage necessary travel to care for my mother. I feel misled as a consumer, and I am respectfully requesting a refund for the charges incurred beyond my regular monthly payments. I believe it is reasonable to ask for greater transparency and accountability from Xfinity, especially considering my circumstances. I am at a loss as Xfinity drags this on and sends me to collections for thier wrong doings. read more

I did not go to the store, I spent 2 hours online the phone with a robot that sent me everywhere that I did not want to be ! I just wanted to speak to someone about an issue with my account and to order new remotes because mine are broken! No can't speak to anyone! 2 hours later I get a call center in India!!!!! I felt horrible being angry with the woman on the phone , it's not her fault, it's this terrible customer service this terrible company provides! Disgusting !!!!! With everyone leaving cable to streaming services you would think they would care about customers for 20 + years! I pay almost $300 a month with this company and they could care less . Pathetic way to treat a customer! And is there anyone you can talk to to straighten this out ? The answer is no!!!! I would give negative 5 stars if I could for the complete waste of time for the past 2 days I went there to purchase 3 new phones. I was told by Jovan that I was eligible for the promotion and he could take me 3 phones as trades. When I got there today I was then informed they couldn't take my iPhone 13 and get the $700 credit bc the battery was swelled after he looked at it yesterday and said it was fine. The phone had insurance so I ordered a new one and spent the $99 to get it overnighted only to find out I wasn't eligible for the promotion bc it was for new customers not existing ones. He then told me to port my numbers over to metro mobile and then transfer them back to them in order to make this work which would cost me even more money and take more time which is beyond ridiculous. I even transferred my account to my girlfriend's to do all this and now have to have her come with me to the next cell phone store to even be able to upgrade. This could have all been avoided if he was properly trained and knew this upfront before wasting everyone's time including is. Comcast should stick to cable and internet and not sell phones. Upon entering the store, my husband and I were greeted right away by professional and upbeat employees. Crystal took on the task of helping me and please know I am not technologically advanced. She was so patient and knowledgeable and helped us so much. I ended up getting a great deal with my new phone and am excited about being on this new plan. I also want to add that Alyssa was very helpful because, as I said, I am not tech savvy. They walked me through everything I needed to know and provided me with their number in case I ran across any problems. I would definitely recommend this store. As daunting as an experience I was dreading, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with my outcome. read more

Was discriminated against for having a Heath issue by front door greeter. Wouldn't let me come inside and made me stand outside in the rain, thunder and lightening. Check the weather for 9/10/2020 and also the ASA. I will be calling HR to file a complaint. read more

To make a long story short they have liked to me about crediting us for a bogus early termination fee. Twice I've been to the store. Twice they lied to my face. Don't trust a word they say. They want to get you out of the store in hopes you give in to them. Well it's time someone fought back . Can't actually speak on quality of service, due to the fact that they couldn't actually pull off the installation. I'll start this off by saying that I NEVER post negative reviews. I'm not that type of person. But this business SUCKS. And the costumer service people were so incredibly rude. We were told that they would come by to install for 2-4 o'clock. Cool. I had our animals put away for that time so they wouldn't be underfoot, and fed our baby so she wouldn't be fussy at any point during their visit. Kept the front door open for them so they'd know it was us who called for the service. I get a call from my boyfriend at 3. They're at the door and I'm not answering. I look out the door. No on one is there. Fair enough. We live in an apartment that's next to a business with another apartment on the other side. They were probably over there. Nope. I ran out on the sidewalk, walked down the street both ways. Nothing. I call xfinity customer service. It's a robot and I have to talk to them for 7-10 minutes before I can even get a real person on the other line. Im STRESSING out by this point because I work full time and have a baby. I won't be around after the scheduled time. I wanted to talk to the tech delivering the service and help him find our address. The customer service rep I ended up talking to sucked. He was rude and acted as if it was my fault because they had my boyfriends number as a contact and not mine. Sorry. I was trying to find out where the tech was, not make any account changes. Turns OUT the call my boyfriend had received was also from a robot, and the rep HE talked to afterwards said the xfinity people never even tried to come to us. Them saying they were outside and I wasn't answering the door was just the automated response for some reason. And apparently they wanted to come closer to 4-6. Yeah, not gonna happen. I've already spent two and a half hours of my only day off waiting for these bums and stressing the heck out. I told my boyfriend to just call and cancel. If you are someone who's time is valuable and you don't feel like receiving false information, dealing with robots, tolerating poor communication, or having your appointment rescheduled hours after the fact, don't go to these bums. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Surprisingly great experience! I went in expecting to have difficulty making a complex change to an existing account and Jorge, the Customer Sales Consultant, understood exactly what I wanted to do, told me how long it would take to complete the transaction, and went and plugged away. He set up the on-site appointment at my convenience. Importantly, he made it clear that because it was a complex situation, if I needed to reschedule or have questions, to call him directly and he'd take care of it. He said that calling the 1-800 number would require a lot of research on the agent's part to understand what he was doing and it would waste my time. Quick, efficient, and well trained! A much better experience that I had feared. read more

Terrible. Went in today to go over plans and the woman was rude. She shouldn't be working in customer service. She had a terrible attitude and obviously doesn't like her job. When I walked in I told the guy I wanted to talk to someone about my plan, either reduce channels or cancel. The woman wouldn't give me what the current specials were for new customers only the over priced crappy packages we have. I guess if I worked for an overpriced company that cares more about "new" customers rather than current loyal customers, I would hate my job too. It's ridiculous they charge us for equipment per month for years and years and make 1000x profit. The equipment should be leased and after 12 or 18mths PAID FOR. Comcast is terrible. I'm getting rid of them. You would think with all the competition they have with inherent based channels and options, they would make their product more reasonable. But, no they remain overpriced and after the experience we had I this store, definitely going to the DISH!!! read more
