Worst service by far of anywhere I've been. Joined Xfinity mobile in April. pricing was great sign up was easy. Agent encouraged us to wait to September to upgrade when the new iPhone comes out. That was mistake number 1 as you get the best deals when porting in your number. It's now July. Went to a store in Chicago with daughter to get her a new phone. Spent nearly 3 hours there and was told one thing only to find out it was another, can't undo any of it. 1 week later, we stopped into the local Fort Myers store to upgrade the other 3. After an hour there, walked out with nothing - was basically told that because we haven't had 2 billing cycles yet that there was nothing they could do (mind you a week earlier that I upgraded the other phone in a store). Anyway, spent 4 additional hours over 3 days chatting with agents online about trying to get these phones upgraded. Ultimately, I was given my deal, knew my future bill pricing, and was told that everything was noted in my account and then after 24 hours (the system needed to update) I could connect with them again and all would be good. NOT! The notes weren't in my account and I ended up having to explain to more than 6 agents (when they don't like what you are saying they just drop off and then you get someone new to start all over with again - and that is apparently ok with their company to make someone so mad by having to constantly justify what you were told). Anyway - I transferred the 3 lines that I couldn't get upgraded with a deal close to what I was promised over to Verizon just now. BEWARE! SHODDY BUSINESS PRACTICES, HORRIBLE SERVICE, AND NO REGARD FOR PROMISES MADE (I EVEN HAVE THE TRANSCRIPT OF THE ORIGINAL INTERACTION OUTLINING ALL OF THE THINGS I WAS PROMISED) BY ANY IF THEIR EMPLOYEES. I went to the store on Dani Drive, spoke to the manager, who promptly put in a new work order for the morning of October 28th. No one showed up. In the past I have been screamed at, dismissed, overcharged, false promises, and worked with some employees with no customer service skills. Tim was genuine, professional, competent and kept up with all of my bills and questions. He respected me enough to explain all of the answers. He is very straight forward and to the point. Affordable Connectivity Program - I qualify and tried to sign up with Xfinity in Fort Myers. Xfinity is using deceptive practices. It's been a horrible process to get "Internet Essentials". Xfinity is including cell phone service as part of the "Internet Essentials", but at an additional unspecified expense. I have had Comcast/Xfinity 3mths now, lady who signed me up that the 70.00 install fee would be taken off. 3mths later and 3 calls later finely off my bill. What she didn't tell me was when the guy left my bill was 56.00, wth it just got installed. See you pay up front, so today after paying last mth, I'm now 2mths behind. I can't dump them because it would cost over 100.00 penalty. Plus last few days my network keeps needing to reboot to connect all devices. Fixed so far but not happy with this relationship. Comcast provides the worst customer service in store, online and via telephone. The employees are argumentative, don't care and have no people skills. It is impossible to get a straight answer from anyone. If you call or 10 times you will get 10 different answers. If you go to the store they say to call the 800 number. 2.5 stars for the duration of time waited, 3 stars for the variety of new services and the ease of when we were finally helped. Went into this store for one thing: replace the modem because it kept failing. That's all we wanted to do - get a replacement. Why did we have to check in with someone in the front desk, wait 30 minutes and once we met with someone, we were out of there in 5 minutes? The place is big enough where they should have different employees at different desks, doing certain tasks. People returning equipment, go here. People signing up for services, go there. People not sure, stand here. When the store is full of people needing everything in the world, no wonder why the wait time is over 25 minutes. And, we were not alone in returning and getting replacements. All the more reason there should be specific stations to be at, to get worked with. When we were helped, the guy didn't even register us - our account, our name, etc. He took the modem, scanned it, and we told him the story of it constantly shutting off and us not getting random service. He goes in the back, gets a new modem. Scans the new box, hands it over. Off we go to get home and plug it in for our Triple Play service. All in all, it was one and done in 5 minutes. Can't say I'd be back because this was one of those random acts of failure where we didn't want to wait 2 weeks for a tech to come to our house and replace the modem. Unable to resolve issues with cell phone service, the worst customer service I've experienced in my life on planet earth

I am a new customer and had xfinity Internet for two days when the guy came to bury the cable and in doing so cut it in half and just left me with no service. I don't think he knew he cut the cable The last thing he did was shove the cover down on the box outside cutting the cable! When I was finally able to talk to someone on the phone (which is VERY hard to do) I was told it would be three days before anyone could repair the obvious damage and restore service. I have asked four different people in customer service to get someone out sooner so that I could continue working from home and they just said no. I deeply regret changing from my previous Internet service for a slightly better price because this company has horrible customer service and they could not care less about their customers. read more

Xfinity is still the same old Comcast! We pay over $200 a month for cable and Internet. Because we have a second television, Comcast decided that we needed to have a special "box" to be able to have cable on it. Read: "We want to keep track of how many TVs you have in your house and charge you for using them". Forward to today....the secondary box stopped working. No power light. I call Xfinity's 800 number (no local number...nah that would make things too convenient for the customers) and the first person I talked to, I informed him that the box was not working. He said he had to test it to make sure. Fair enough. Ran his test comes back on and says I'll need to speak to a technician. Great, go ahead and transfer me....New guy comes on, immediately asks for all my account information (which had already been verified by phone details) then says..(you guessed it!) "we are going to need to run some tests." He wants me to unplug and replug (something I had already done, multiple times in different outlets to be sure) so I did again for him. Him: "Ok sir you're right I'm not seeing any signal" Me: "Ok great, so I can just run it over to the store and exchange it?....or someone will come by...?" Him:"No sir, another technician will need to call you to verify the box is faulty" Me: "I thought we just did that....? Ok, when will he call?" Him:"A week from tomorrow." Me: WTF?!? I've had this service since Sunday and already hate It. 1. The lady who sold me my package failed to tell me my "cable" was on available on a streaming app yet still sent a cable box to my house 2. The cable box didn't even come with all the wires required for the box to hook up to the tv 3. I was dumb enough to believe her when she told me modems were around $30 and to buy my own rather than pay a fee to them every month to use theirs. Wrong. This town doesn't have a single place that sells wireless modems aka I can't have internet. 4. When I click on certain channels, (ex: bravo tv), my screen goes black then I have to reset the system. So I'm paying over $100 a month for a system that is half assed. So now I'm paying over $50 more a month because my original sales lady didn't understand what I was wanting. read more

Needed to come in and switch out modem boxes. During the crazy COVID going on they had a nice big tent outside and screening/asking people their reason for entering at the moment. I maybe stood for a minute or two and the ladies at the door were very kind and I went right on in to a kind old lady in the very back with glasses on. She was so sweet and kind to me and had me out of there in less than 10 minutes. Extremely impressed and thankful - I'm high risk and I felt safe the entire time by their current safety precautions. we recently moved to north ft Myers from NY. we set up our internet & cable for our new address prior to moving. they told me that i needed a down payment of $300 to get service, which we happily paid. we have been here for 5 months, and everything was going well until recently. our wifi service in our home is garbage, and most of the time it barely works. we called to complain and was told that the internet was working fine. when we pay our bill through the app recently, they take forever to take the money out of our account, resulting in over draft fees and returned payments. we called to inquire about this and was told that it takes up to 72 hrs for the money to be deducted from our bank account. we received a suspended account notification in which my bill wasn't due until Nov 3rd. I contacted them through the message assist, as that's the only way to talk to anyone, and was assured my bill wasn't due till Nov 3rd and my services wouldnt be interrupted. low and behold on October 28th, my services were suspended. there is no # to call to speak to anyone about this matter and you can't message them without paying the bill first. this is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. in the process of looking for another internet / TV provider as I will never do business with these guys again read more

I went in today because I was having issues with my phone, everyone was so pleasant and accommodating when the $1200 phone was purchased, however today when I Needed help the customer service was appalling. Only wish I could give zero stars for service.....was promised the world and this is what I got: 1. New employee who cut through my water line within the first 30 minutes of arrival. 2. No paperwork provided during installation to show what service I received. 3. Due to no paperwork, the installer put in boxes that had no hi-def, no on-demand, but plenty of porn site channels so the kids can look at filth while scrolling for the cartoon channel. 4. When I called to explain that we had received the incorrectly programmed boxes, he said he would send out new ones immediately. No offer to pick up the old ones or reconnect the new boxes. 5. Every morning my internet goes out from 5am to 7am intermittently. It happens every morning. 6. When I have called to complain and would like an itemized copy of the bill prior to making a payment, this was offered. When I received the first bill it was well over $200. This was discussed upon the initial telephone conversation that we did not want a service that would cost over $180/month. With no premium channels, its over. And we get porn. 7. When I call to discuss my concerns over adjustments that have been promised me and they are not done, I am told by the payments department that due to my phone number being tied to an account that is not currently paid up to date, my calls will automatically always revert to the payments department and no one in billing will assist me until my bill is paid. THIS IS WHY I WANT TO SPEAK WITH BILLING. FROM MY FIRST STATEMENT THAT WAS INCORRECTLY BILLED TO THIS 3RD STATEMENT, NOT ONE HAS BEEN CORRECTED. REALLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO ONE HAS AN INDEPENDENT THOUGHT....JUST READ THE SCRIPT IN FRONT OF YOU AND SOUND LIKE A STEPFORD CHILD. I have to give this store 1 star. I arrived simply to turn in my cable box & a few other pieces of equipment as our gated community switched to another cable/internet provider. My bill is paid in full and I am simply turning in the equipment. I was told to sign in. There were probably 10 parties waiting to pick out cell phones, etc. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked if I could just give them back their equipment. I was told if I wanted a receipt I had to wait. Other cable providers in the past had a dedicated place to turn in equipment with little or no wait. Needless to say, I now totally understand why our community of at least 400 homes is switching to another provider. Stay AWAY from Xfinity if at all possible. read more

We had an issue with our box and went to this store to exchange it. The agent that helped us was very nice, although we ended up having to return two more times to get everything working. The problem came when the agent told us she could lower our bill. The first thing I told her was I did not want to lose the big ten network (BTN). She assured me we would keep our current channels but the price would go down. Of course, after three trips to the store we finally got the cable tv working, but no BTN! Calling customer service means talking to a computer for 10 minutes before you can talk to a real person, but once we were able to speak to someone we were told we had to pay extra to get our channel.
