In my conversation with Jake, I immediately felt at ease because was definitely very knowledgeable. I'm not an expert but I do understand tech and I was able to talk to him easily comfortably. I did not want to spend a fortune and he immediately started to give me options on how to save money. I sent him pictures of my living room and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. Jake came personally to hang my flat screen television. He did it quickly and cleaned up the area after the work was done. He was thoughtful enough to wire 2 HDMI in the wall in case one failed in the future. Once the work was done, I was so impressed that I did show him some of the other work I needed done with my security cameras. He took time to give me a quote on the work and he offered me options to help me save money. I never felt pressured to do anything. I opted to proceed with the project and he ordered the equipment and came on the day promised and finished all the work at the quote he gave me. He showed me how to operate the new cameras and as before cleaned all the work areas. I would highly recommend YDLC. I already have a 3rd project in mind for my great room . YDLC provides great service, is knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with the advice provided. The work is good quality and everything is working well. He was nice and went over the options. When we spoke with Ronny we told him we were looking for Bluetooth speakers so we could play music from our phones in our home. We both work from home and I also game online so we wanted the fastest internet so we wanted plug in jacks in each room which they said would not be a problem. They also offered a security doorbell camera and stated our HOA pays for the monitoring service. So after speaking with Ronny we decided to add Cat6 wiring to the house, speakers for our pool area, speakers for our great room, and a video doorbell solution. Fast forward 10 months and out home is done and we get to move in. First there is no video doorbell installed. I talk to Ron and Sons and they state I need to sign up for the service first and again state that my HOA covers the service. After a lot of back and forth I find out they will pay for basic service which is if you have a land line (which we don't). So we have to sign up for a wifi adapter which is $10 a month. So we felt a little duped. I asked Ron and Sons to install the doorbell that we paid for without monitoring service so we could just use the app and they stated that wasn't possible. Second, after our internet is hooked up the outlets in each room don't work. The internet provider tells me Ron and Sons will have to come out to configure. Ron and Sons has still not been out to the property to correct this. We have lived here 6 months now. Third, the speakers are not Bluetooth at all which I am 100% sure we spoke about. To even get these speakers to work we needed to add an amp, a volume control for the inside speakers. Why would Ronny have let us leave the initial meeting knowing we would show up in our home with speakers that don't even work? On top of that, they wouldn't even let me transfer the money I paid for the doorbell to finish the audio setup. I would not do business with this company as I feel they lack integrity and have not even tried to make anything better.

To start, Best Buy canceled our installation of our new home at 6:30pm by text the night before install. Only options were to reschedule or cancel. Evidently they only have one crew and totally left us hanging as we had been planning on this for over 3 weeks. We had to drive 30 minutes to Best Buy in Port Charlotte because they no longer have phones in store, ( this is a complete joke if you have tried to deal with Best Buy lately, GOOD LUCK) to see what had happened and try to reschedule or cancel. We ended up walking out of Best Buy at 9:00pm with nothing resolved and possibly a week or two wait on installation. The next morning my wife found Quality Tv on Google and we decided to stop in. Mike gave us a quick class on TVs and we loved the family atmosphere of his business. Mike was able squeeze us in to do the install and his sons Michael/ Matthew and Brian teamed up to knock out the job. I was in awe of how they teamed up and worked together and how great of a job they did. We have had Best Buy for at least 12-13 installs over the last 15 years and Quality TV hands down was the best service we have ever had! Original owner did not tell me he had sold the business when I made my purchase and new owners did not treat me with any integrity. They do not understand the meaning of good customer service, follow-thru on installations, nor return phone calls. I paid $20K for a complete home theatre system in my home and upgraded Wi-Fi including wiring. To date, I have non-functional speakers in my MBR and LR, and my Sonos wireless system needs to be rebooted every week or two. They also insist that they did not sell me enough Ports to support the speakers that I have installed, and I need to purchase another one. They wanted to charge me higher than manufacturer's suggested retail price for the product after the initial sale. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE. THESE GUYS WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER!!!

I visit my parents often and they had specialty electronics do some custom work for their second living room (or whatever it's called) and for the pool area tv/sound system. I don't know what to say except that it came out awesome! I've never seen a tv that hides into the furniture and just rolls up out of nowhere! And it's a 65 in TV!!! The sound system is amazing with none of the wires being visible, you barely notice the speakers are even there until you turn up the volume. I can't wait to get my own home so I can call specialty electronics to do some work on my future man cave! I would suggest this company for anybody looking for some really great, high quality work. They can really surprise you with the solutions and ideas they come up with!
