I visited Xfinity with Mom to update her equipment. Kayla assisted us and thoroughly detailed the upgrade process. When it was time to leave, Kayla attempted to add the automatic switching of the equipment so that we would have no issues when unplugging and replacing it at home. Unfortunately, the system would not cooperate. Back at home, we were on the phone with customer service reps for almost two hours to no avail. Finally, we were connected with a rep in the Philippines who successfully assisted us in replacing the equipment. She also called back later that evening to ensure we didn't have any additional issues. She was most helpful. Upon returning the equipment to the store, I was told I could not do so because my name wasn't on the account. I saw that Kayla was still there and opted to wait for her. It took a while, but when she was free (after closing), she quickly assisted me with returning the equipment under Mom's account. She also showed me on her computer screen where there was just one set of equipment as the old set was returned. I will say that when we arrived there were a few customers in the store just after they opened at 10 AM. Within 10 minutes, the room was full. However, when I turned around again shortly, the staff had waited on and assisted the majority of the customers and the store had only a few remaining, including Mom and I. Went in store and got wifi( all i wanted was wifi) when going through my plan in store the xfinity employee informed me that I would only be paying for wifi, she ended up adding a "voice" line to my bill which would cost me $30 more per month. I just got off the phone with customer service trying to set up my modem router and thankfully the gentleman confirmed my plan with me and informed me that i was paying for a phone line("voice")... I canceled that and he set me up with a new order. A little sketch if you ask me. read more

Xfinity itself is wonderful, i have been with them now for about 5 years. But the store the last time i was in there was the worst experience with a company ever. I bought a phone for an already existing line OF 4. the first person to see me states i cant use the phone cause i didn't buy at store i would have to get another line to bring your own phone. Well that was wrong because 3 weeks prior i did bring a phone and got it swapped out because the other phone had a cracked screen. I told them and also told them to look its the same style phone that i am trying to do once again. Still the answer was no. So not going to lie my emotions ran high and i left only to come back and to attempt to try to explain to a manager or something. SO i stood and waited and finally got to see another person , pretty much proceeded to tell me the same thing. I explained to her i spoke to comast xfinity support and there should be no issues as long as phone is unlocked and phone supports the xfinity network which it does cause like stated earlier same phone swapped 3 weeks prior. So after being told twice i left and called customer support and told them about what was going on they handled it from there end.. phone support told me i could have did everything myself , so now i know and you all should know as well.. DONT LET THEM TELL YOU YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO SWAP PHONES BOUGHT OUTSIDE THEIR NETWORK CAUSE THAT SIMPLE IS NOT TRUE , THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO SELL YOU A NEW PHONE AND OR GET YOU ON A NEW LINE... read more

First, this store is always busy so if you're on your lunch break or in a hurry you will be frustrated. Plan your visit better. Realizing this going in, the wait was only about 30 minutes. This store sometimes takes a pounding. It seems like mostly by people with problems that were not easy to solve. I was a retail manager for 40 years and it is very common for a frustrated customer to perceive an associate as "rude" or "unconcerned". Not always fair. Having said all that, my visit today was pleasant. I was taken care of by Tamasha Whitaker. She was polite, efficient and smiled through the whole transaction. I walked in and told them I wanted to cancel cable and return the cable box. I asked if they needed the account number. A "customer service person" named Tom said no I need your ID. He asked me what name was on the account, I said my name and spelled it for him. He asked me again whose name the account was listed under, I said I told you mine and I spelled it for him. He said it's not in anyone else's name like your husband's? (My husband died 20 years ago) I said no. Then he said that I have two pieces of their equipment to turn in. I originally said I had a cable box that I'm turning in and I'm keeping the internet. He asked if I wanted to cancel all service. I told him no just the cable, that's why I brought the cable box in and originally said when I walked in I wanted to cancel my cable. After all this I asked to speak to a manager and was told that I was causing trouble and getting upset for nothing. Obviously they don't listen to customers in front of them when the customer clearly explains what they want to do at the office. Or maybe they can't comprehend simple English. And the employees act like they're not doing anything wrong. The other employees were laughing and making fun of the situation. This is the second time I've had problems with this store and I'm convinced that either none of the employees know what they're supposed to be doing or they just don't care. Avoid this CF unless you like terrible service and bad attitudes. read more

I am have such a terrible time getting my phone delivery to my address. I love my phone service and internet but this was the worst phone buying experience ever! order a phone on sept. 24th and it was a two day delivery it has now been 8 days still no phone. I called to cancel the phone so I can go into the store and buy one but they can not refund me the money , or deliver my phone to Walgreens or to the store here in dover for me to pick it up it must be sent to the address where i have service.
