Fast forward two years we want to upgrade our house and move so we go to transfer houses through the same company. When we signed out lease they said that would not be a problem we can switch anytime. Turns out it is a problem now we have to wait until our lease Is up. So we wait until a few weeks before our end of lease and start looking at houses. They do not help you in anyway try to get into another place. We apply and they give you the run around. Say they will call you back. Never happens... Lost out on multiple properties because no one will help. Now we are going to just give our 60 day notice and find a better rental company. Hopefully they give us our deposit back without a problem because the house is in much better condition that when we arrived...

When I brought my concerns to upper management, she attempted to rectify the situation, but unfortunately, it was beyond repair. Ultimately, I had to terminate the agreement. October 17, 2025 - toured 118 E Bay Avenue, Longwood, FL 32750; filled out applications (2 @ $80.00 each) through appfolio October 18-19, 2025 - numerous calls from Audrey Lombardi with Rental Homes, LLC asking us to provide proof of income, copy of current lease, verification of landlord reference letters, etc. - Text sent to Audrey Lombardi requesting a copy of lease to review October 20, 2025 - 12:35 p.m. Call from Audrey Lombardi stating application was approved - 3:33 p.m. Email from Audrey Lombardi with Reservation Agreement and Fee Disclosure. Instructions stated Reservation Deposit in the amount of $2,040.00 required to be paid by cashier's check today, October 20, 2025 or earlier if possible to remove the listing from the market until October 22, 2025 (date lease was to be signed). Listing was never taken off the market. October 21, 2025 - 12:55 p.m. Email from Rental Homes LLC (appfolio) instructing to set up tenant portal to view lease. Agreeing to terms of service was required to view the lease. Upon reading the terms of service, I called Audrey Lombardi and told her I did not agree to the terms of service. She asked where I found terms of service. I told her it stated you had to agree in order to join the tenant portal. Her only response was, that was their policy in order to view the lease. I told her everything they were doing was backward. Their form stated I had to set up utilities 2 days before signing the lease, but Longwood Utilities requires a signed lease before starting service and Rental Homes LLC required the lease be electronically signed and brought to the walk through along with a cashier's check for $2,045.00. There was NO opportunity to cancel if something was wrong with the property discovered during the final walk through. I did finally agree to the tenant portal to view the lease, which was horrifying. This was not an isolated incident--it became the norm. Realty Medics charged $1,050 for an evaporator coil cleaning, yet the A/C failed again within a few weeks. A new property manager later found a contractor quoting $795 for the same work. The deeper problem is structural: all maintenance is routed through Realty Medics' internal process, while the original contractor's information is not disclosed. In my experience, this resulted in repeated failures, higher charges, and no lasting solution. Property owners should have access to vendor information, warranty records, itemized invoices, and independent estimates.

I moved into that property with the kitchen cabinets painted BABY BLUE. Upon approval, I painted them to match the appliances, and upon moving out, had to paint them back to that awful color. ANGEL HIDALGO took SIX HUNDRED dollars from my security deposit to re-paint the cabinets, claiming that the "owners claimed the cabinets to be WHITE upon move in." So they take $600 based upon a lie, and it gets even better... I view the property a year later - THEY NEVER PAINTED. Look up the property, the cabinets are BLUE! I got charged $600 for them to supposedly paint them white, and they literally just stole the money. This will not be the last they hear of me.
