For TWO YEARS, I have repeatedly complained about the same upstairs neighbor being excessively loud, stomping around like they're practicing Riverdance directly above my head, and generally showing zero respect for the property's noise expectations. Somehow, management has decided this is just "normal daytime behavior." Meanwhile, if anyone else hears a single noise, suddenly it warrants investigation. The double standard is ridiculous. After two years of bringing up the same problem, I have gotten absolutely nowhere. No meaningful resolution, no accountability, and no indication that repeated violations are taken seriously. Things have gotten even worse since the property switched to a new management ownership company. They no longer have the helpful off site after hours call center we used to be able to contact, and the front desk is essentially useless when an actual issue comes up. You get vague, generic, ChatGPT style answers instead of real information, action, or solutions. Residents should not have to repeatedly beg for basic enforcement of community rules while management picks and chooses which complaints deserve attention. If you value peace in your home, consistent enforcement of rules, responsive management, or competent after hours support, I would seriously think twice before moving here.

The walking area is always covered in dog poop even though bags are provided. *elevators available but not always working -- sometimes one is out of service for weeks at a time *there's only 2 exits for each building which didn't seem like an issue until living in it, especially with the dog situation *package room is always chaotic, unorganized, and deliveries left in the wrong building *these apartments are too expensive and the staff work too hard for your fellow residents to make such a negative impact, but here we are. They have gone above and beyond with everything. Even emails have been answered in minutes. You can tell they care about the tenants & I am truly impressed by them! They add to the "luxury" feel of these apartments. The apartments are modern & beautiful, the amenities make it feel like I'm in a resort, and the location is great (close to I4, downtown ,& winter park). I'm not trying to make a sales pitch or anything, but I love this community & apartment complex as well as the location, management, and the actual apartments themselves. I moved here with my wife & 4 year old daughter and the pool area is amazing, it's right next to 417 so you can get anywhere in like 2 seconds, the gym is top notch (better than most actual gyms), the people/community is legitimately so much friendlier and warm than any other apartment complex I've been at - and to top it all off, the three ladies Alonna, Luci, and Brenda who run the office are AMAZING. They are like a power crew and they really listen to the residents and they don't just say something they get things DONE. Anyways just wanted to share my amazing experience with Legends Apartments because I know it's hard to find a place like this, I plan on living here for years until I can afford to buy a house .

They deleted…read moretheir old Yelp profile due to the number of bad reviews and created this new profile earlier this year, they also removed the reviews section from their Facebook page because of the negative reviews there. The buildings have been bought by a new management company who is nearly as incompetent as the last one. The management does not respond to messages in a timely manner and I don't think they do walkthroughs of the property, EVER, as there are issues like trash cans left in hallways, parts of the building falling off and laying on the floor for weeks on end, etc. Yesterday I went down to the parking garage and nearly broke my neck when I slipped on a flooded floor because the parking garages LITERALLY drain THROUGH the doors to the building, you have to open the doors with water coming down them and walk through a waterfall to gain access to the parking garage. The parking garage itself is so poorly constructed I think it rains more in there than outside when it's raining. There are also cars that people have abandoned in the parking garage over a YEAR ago that are still sitting there, flat tires, dust so thick that people write on it. Unfortunately every time they say things they are going to get better, and they might for a few weeks, but then back to the old ways. If you are looking at moving, I recommend that you talk to some of the actual residents who have been here for a while before doing so.

However, our utilities were almost $400 a month for electric. I had to call and pester the electric company to come do a testing on our AC to finally get them to switch the AC unit to a newer unit. The AC unit was over 20 years old, which means I have not been replaced for years. The maintenance staff was very friendly and professional, and the office staff was always kind, but there was constant maintenance. The biggest issue we found was bugs. Despite paying for pest control and having them come monthly, there were so many bugs that we just couldn't get rid of them even constant cleaning. They also charged a lot for extra things like parking spaces and water was built with the sprinkler system. When we moved out we got an enormously high water bill for a month. We weren't even there. When I asked if we could move out a month early and break the lease without having a $3000 extra fee, and just prorate it it they said absolutely not --yet they texted me numerous times after I told them I was moving to "give me a cheaper rate. " even after I told them solidly that I was moving, I still got texts from them. Then we were going to be charged over $300 for utilities when we moved. I realized there was one month that we were there but the other month we had already moved out by that point and weren't even using the water and yet we were charged more for the last month than our normal usage. We had really great neighbors most of the time so they were pretty good about vetting. The people who moved in, so no complaints on that in. I generally felt safe in the neighborhood, but I did feel like the maintenance was poor and the cost of living there was outrageously expensive.
