The driver was on time and we got to the airport on time. He didn't greet us nor communicate for the entire trip. I accidentally left my hat and mittens in the car. Greatly disappointed. Newer ownership lacks professionalism or care. Deceitful advertising. I give them 1 star, only because the drivers themselves were nice. However, that is where anything resembling professionalism stops. We had used Wyomissing Limo in the past at least 4 times for airport drop off and pick up, and always had a great experience with lovely, clean Town cars. They still advertise that they use Town cars, but that is not what you get. For the drive to JFK, the driver showed up with a Kia Optima, their own personal vehicle which wasn't the cleanest and included a bumper sticker for their personal business. When I questioned Bri and Wyomissing Limo, she said they don't use town cars anymore, but the cars they provide are spacious. First, we paid town car rates-$750 round trip, and right on their website they state "Traveling alone? You'll enjoy traveling in our comfortable, luxurious town car. " On the return trip, we had an SUV that the backseat was so worn, their was no springs or cushioning, my back was killing me by the time I got home. My husband checked the Uber app, and for a round trip to JFK we could have had better cars, at a cheaper price including tolls and gratuity. Advertising you use Town cars and sending basically an Uber to us is deceptive advertising. My husband is 6'4", and the Town cars we had been given in the past were great. This time, both trips my husband's knees were squished against the seat in front of him. We never had received deceitful practices from the previous owners, but these newer owners are very deceptive with what they advertise on their website. I paid extra for the driver to to meet my elderly mother inside the Philadelphia airport with a sign. I called numerous times to confirm the details. They assured me we were on the same page and all set. My mother arrived at the airport and the driver was not there and she began to panick. She called my crying and there was very little I could do to help. He was late and did not greet her as we agreed to which was the most crucial component here as she is old and does not get around well. There were six of us that road down, and four passengers that road back the first week- 2 passengers leaving two weeks later. Our driver Jim was on time for all three trips, extremely professional, and held intriguing conversation. Jim has has had many life experiences and was able to make relatable conversation with all of our various parties. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the ways to get to and from the airport/ our house and made traveling a breeze. Had to make a rushed trip to Reading, PA a a week or so ago. We arranged for the Wiomissing Car Service to pick up us at the Philly airport. They were there for us, even though our plane was late! The driver was friendly and great conversation on the one hour-ish ride to Reading. Different drive on the return to the Philly airport a few days later but just as punctual and friendly. I have taken Wyomissing Taxi for two round trips to the Philadelphia airport. The first ride to the airport went without a hitch, very friendly driver. However after that ride it went downhill. Upon my arrival back in Philadelphia I received a call from the driver letting me know that he would be about an hour late. I received a $40 discount on my next trip. The next ride, my driver was 25 minutes late picking me up from my house (which is on the same street as their office). I barely made my flight. When I landed back in Philadelphia I called to ask where my ride was, and I was told that the driver was 5 minutes away. There was no driver 5 minutes away, they ordered me a Lyft instead and were unable to even give me the details of the Lyft car. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would give them -5, this is the most unprofessionally ran car service that I have ever dealt with. read more

Car was 35 minutes late for a pickup scheduled six hours in advance. I was told he would be 5 minutes late, then 8 minutes late then for the next 30 minutes I was told he would be there any minute. When the driver did arrive the vehicle was a beat up mini van. I had to help the driver enter the destination of the Philadelphia airport into his GPS. I do not recommend. I now unfortunately understand why they charge your card before they even arrive. read more

Made arrangements for a shuttle for an upcoming Nov. trip to Reading. Plans changed and we needed to cancel the reservation. E-mailed several times to cancel and have the fee refunded. Called several times as well. No return confirmation of cancellation. No return e-mails or return phone calls. This company is very good about taking your credit card and charging it up-front, but very poor about crediting it back. Their stated policy is a full refund with 24-hour cancellation notice. I'll consider modifying this review if/when I get my money back. Still haven't received return communication via E-mail or phone. We did just check our credit card activity and found a refund from the company. Ok. Glad they came through and refunded our money. Good business practice should have included communication and more timely return of our payment. We won't use this company in the future. read more

DO NOT USE! The car service was 30 minutes late when they pick us up to our destination to which we were understanding and still gave a generous tip then they were 1 hr and 45min late picking us back up on the way home(I could have arrived home and started laundry in that time). No apologies no reference of a discount. This was terrible and to further more show how they run a business, everytime we called they told us 10more minutes well if 10minutes equals 45min to an hour then I hope my flight understands (not) and that was up to the point where they just ignored my calls completely. And let's not forget when they said they were stuck in a traffic accident and according to me n my friends multiple traffic apps nothing but clear roads. We scheduled transportation to PHL about a month ago for a trip leaving4/10. We were told we would receive a confirming call the day before. We never received a call. The day of our trip I started calling them leaving 4 messages on both the office number and the owners cell phone. Last message I left informed them to simply cancel the transportation. We drove to the airport and about 15 minutes AFTER our scheduled pick up time we received a text asking for our address for our pickup. I had a reservation to be picked up at the Philadelphia Airport in November of 2017. Unfortunately a few days before my trip I had to cancel. I called to cancel and requested a refund. On the day that I was supposed to be picked up, the driver called that he was at the airport. I told him that I had cancelled 2 days before that. I would give the driver, Joseph, five stars, because he was so terrific. However, the company website is unclear (bordering on deceptive) with regard to pricing. I was in from out of state and needed to use the service from PHL to an address in Wyomissing. The website makes it seem like the fare is $99 one way. Yet, I later learned, after being charged $130 on my credit card that this is special pricing if you do a round trip. I paid Joseph a cash tip, and yet was charged for a predetermined tip on my credit card, which was part of that $130 charge. I understand adding the tolls on top, but to automatically add a tip to the charge is also not appropriate. I arranged for transportation to the Philadelphia Airport from Wyomissing one month prior to my trip. I didn't receive a verification call, so I contacted the service the day before our trip and everything we reviewed was correct. The service was to pick us up at 5:00 AM but they did not come . I started making phone calls and leaving my cell number at 5:30 AM with no response. We were lucky to find a family member who was able to get us to the airport, barely on time. We were away for two weeks and in that time there was no phone call to me explaining what had happened. The day before we were to come back to the Philadelphia Airport , I contacted the service, after leaving my number on their voice mail several times without a response, to be sure someone was going to pick us up. I was feeling unsure that this was going to happen so I cancelled the return drive. Again, after asking what happened there was no remorse or explanation was given as to why we weren't picked up . I talked to David when I got home and said how unsatisfied I was and wanted a refund. He told me to send an e- mail with the information and gave me an address. The address was invalid, so again I called and left my cell number for someone to call back. It is now two weeks after our trip with no response from this company. I have disputed the charge on my card and contacted the Better Business Bureau. Do not use this unreliable service. read more

Failed to pick me up without notice or warning for my early AM Newark airport transfer. After 40 minutes of waiting for them to arrive, I had to make other arrangements and scheduled an UBER. Multiple phone calls were made and emails were sent, but I didn't hear back from the company until later that afternoon. They stated that their driver got into an accident, and I would certainly feel bad if I thought it was actually true. Either way, the company needs to have a system in place to contact the customer ASAP when an unexpected event arises. I told them that I wanted to cancel my return flight pickup and asked to issue a refund. After a month of email exchanges and horrible excuses, I never received a refund from them, and the gentleman with whom I spoke really seemed quite indifferent regarding the whole situation. Booked a car for just myself for a one way trip to Philadelphia airport from Reading (about 60 mile trip). Booking was easy although I was charged $110 even though their website advertises a $99 fare for Philadelphia airport trips. My flight was at 905am so I asked for a 630am pick-up. Dispatcher didn't bat an eyelid about the scheduling. When booking, they asked me for my address which I provided. At 6:23AM I get a text message from the driver asking my address. I responded with the address. At 637am the driver arrived. It was a Dodge Caravan, probably at least a 2010s vehicle. He helped load my carry-on. He didn't apologize for being late but rather explained why he had asked for my address again. Apparently another customer last week had a similar address and he wanted to clarify he was heading to the right place. Driver was friendly enough, put the AC on when I requested. No water offered. Car was fine, not particularly clean but no mud or pet hair either. Driver overshot my terminal (had to back up) but was gracious enough to break a $50 so I could tip him since I hadn't gotten to an ATM, so this is a 4 rather than 3 star review. read more

I was very happy and satisfied with their service and my driver, Edwin was very kind and polite. There was very good communication via text or phone calls in regards to the transportation date, time, pick up, etc. I also liked the fact that all monies were done through my Visa card, including the tip. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE!!  We booked Wyomissing Car Service for transportation for 6 people to and from the Baltimore Cruise Terminal. The car that was supposed to take us to the terminal showed up over a half hour late after calling 3 times and saying they were going to be there in 10 mins. We got to our boat on time but that is only because we planned in a substantial time buffer into our travel plans. Obviously the company had no idea that luggage was involved in a 10 day cruise because they only had enough space for about 1/2 of our luggage in the trunk of the limo the rest filled the front passenger seat to the point the driver had no way seeing out of the passenger side window. We were understanding and more than  patient with the driver and still gave a generous tip. The return trip was 10 x worse. The car was scheduled to pick us up at the ship at 730 am. When we got off the ship about 715 we called the service to see what their ETA was and they told us that we were scheduled for an 830 pick up not a 730!! Then about a half hour later the driver called to tell us he was stuck in a traffic accident and would be late (a quick search of Waze and Google Maps showed this to be a lie) not a single traffic accident from Berks County to Baltimore. When the car finally did arrive there were 2 people from the company onboard so now the luggage that sat in the front seat was crammed in the back with us ( 4 people on a seat for 3!) The driver offered no apology no discount nothing) Oh and I forgot to mention we had to wait outside for the 2 hours in 32° tempatures and snow! Obviously customer service and honesty are not an interest to this company and I highly recommend you do not use them! I wish I could give a rating lower than 1 star! read more

On February 23, 2018, I contacted David at Wyomissing Car Service and Taxi to arrange a ride for my parents from Reading to the University of Pennsylvania and home again on March 5. My credit card was charged immediately. On February 28, I needed to cancel the car due to my father being ill. David told me there would be no problem crediting the charges back to my account, but it would take 5 to 7 business days for me to see the refund reflected on my bank statement. I spoke to David, yesterday, March 12 and asked him why I was not seeing a credit on my account and he told me that he was not sure and that he needed to check with "Square", but promised he would get back with me in 15 to 20 minutes. He did not follow through on this promise. I feel that a reputable company would at least have followed through with a courtesy call by today, March 13. Nine business days have now passed with no results. My credit card has not been reimbursed. I have lost faith in David and this company. read more

This was the second time I used Wyomissing Car Service for round-trip from Reading area to Philly Airport. Pricing was fair and competitive. 20% tip is built-in RT price. I felt safe with drivers and vehicle. I am satisfied and will use them again. The cars were adequate and clean. The drivers are part-time; they were competent and polite. (Do not expect slick professional drivers with uniforms or suits.) They were on-time.I told them when I wanted to be picked-up for a flight. This is a small and growing business. They meet a real need in our area. Hopefully, they will refine service in near future. My immediate suggestions: Provide small bottled waters for passengers; send text the day before confirming location and time of pick-up; provide All Wheel Drive vehicle in winter especially when roads are snowy with ice. Remember, this is a mom and pop utilitarian business, not a slick and professional limo company with luxury cars that charges twice as much. read more

I currently live in Hawaii. Made reservations for them to pick up my brother from his home in Reading, PA to the Philadelphia Airport. In the being very nice and polite. After making the reservation my card was charged twice. I called to get a refund. Was told to call back. My brother comes out to enjoy his vacation with the family goes back, arrives at the Philadelphia airport. His flight was delayed therefor was a longer wait time to receive his luggage. The person that was there to pick him up told him if he didn't call me out ASAP he was going to leave and my brother would have had to wait until 8:00pm to picked up . My brother lucky grabs his bag and meets with the driver. As they are making their way to Reading. My brother tells him it would have been some shitty service if you would have left me after your company charged my sister two for services. The driver then "try's" to kick my brother out of the cab for his comment, which would have left him stranded on the highway!!!!!! My brother was on the phone with us the whole time. My husband calls and leaves a message with David. Of course my husband was aggressive with his word, who would be if someone was trying to leave your loved one stranded after spending over 12 hrs on a plane, about an hour away from home. I called David because I was told he mailed me a check and it never came in the mail. Mind you I payed for services and my card has an authorized charge from company that I have plenty of time to reconcile. Wanted to talk about what transpired via message that has nothing to do with me. He was very rude and unprofessional. I even explained to him I apologize what happened or said but has nothing to do with me, I'm calling regarding a payment your company processed illegally. He threatened me and said that if I did not have my husband call him that he will cancel my check he mailed. My husband called three times he never picked up. I have to call my bank to report it as fraud. I called Mr David back and informed him I reported the charge as fraud. Before hanging up he said the calls were recorded so i purposely repeated the whole situation (which I know the calls are not because it's illegal to record someone without their acknowledgement that's why most companies give you a disclaimer prior to speaking ) he yells and says some rude things and threats to call the police on my husband and hangs up on me. It's been a week later.... he never mailed the check. They are a FRAUD, rude and unprofessional. read more
