I had my boat towed and impounded by Wylie Auto Towing thanks to a vindictive ex-wife. I talked to this company several times on the phone and they were very helpful. I spoke with the owner in person and he was very helpful in explaining the situation and working with me to get the boat and trailer out of impound. Very friendly and very helpful. My tip is be friendly to the impound lot people. They're just doing their job and a lot of time they're towing things that may never get picked up and they'll have to wait a considerable amount of time before they can auction it off to recover expenses. read more

Was at Home Depot. Heard on the intercom my car was about to be towed. Dropped my goods and ran out of the store. I was in a legal spot, but since it was so close to the store it had hash marks on one end and I may have had some overhang in the hash mark. Moved the car to avoid the whole ordeal. My buddy had his truck in storage at this facility. My buddy is a semi truck driver by trade. When he attempted to get his vehicle out of storage, he was advised that he would have to show up in person to release the vehicle. My buddy called with me on three way. I am a claims adjuster. I deal with these types of facilities every day. I advised the individual that my buddy should be able to release his vehicle to a tow truck company and pay for storage over the phone. The individual on the phone became hostile and disconnected the call. I called back. The individual stated that I cursed at him and that is why he hung up the phone. I was taken aback that someone could lie on me to me effortlessly. I asked him why was he being hostile and aggressive He stated because my friend had called him 3 times this week. He then became aggressive and stated that we will follow the rules of his establishment and he will dictate the rules so we must remain silent. I stated that I was aware of the rules. I asked if I could confirm the rules with him to avoid confusion. The individual said yes. I said my friend will have a tow truck pick up his vehicle. He will release his vehicle to the tow truck company and pay your storage fees. I asked was this acceptable. He then said yes. The individual stated that he was the manage. Unprofessional and lost my car! They are part of a road side assistance program, told me my car was fine and did not need to go to dealership. I took their word for it, my car still did not start. They insulted my intelligence and also made fun of my car. 2nd pick up they lost my car! The rep did not drop my key off in an envelope or mark my name on the key, the key also was not in the spot designated for drop off. Was a half of day of dumb and dumber! Consumer Beware Wylie Towing is not owned by The Bellows anymore and have gone downhill. If you want the Wish version of a tow company then they are the folks for you. They are owned by people who lie, destroy property and tell you to F off basically and take your money for a half ass job. On December 6th I called Wylie towing dispatched and explained that I needed a heavy hauling flat bed for my dump truck. I explained that they must come by 530 and it can not be done in the dark. I waited and waited, and call dispatched several times and they assured me that he was coming. Well guess who showed up after dark. He already at the end of the road and I explain to him he can come up but there nowhere to turn around. The driver Choose to come up, so I told him to not go too far off the road as its not solid. I then told him I would walk near him to make sure he didn't hit any pallets. Well, what did he do he went off the road and sank like a ton of bricks. He sat there for quite a while, while more of the Wylie Towing came to his rescue. During this time they were very unprofessional cussing and busting each other's balls. During this time, I offered my Stone Put it in my personal car and drove it over to the tow truck to help him get out. After doing major damage to my pasture and running over my water line he was out. They left the huge ruts in my yard along with the broken wood they attempted to use to get their truck out. Now this time he drives up to my house in attempt to turn around. Again he was told from the beginning that their was no turn around. In this process he ran over my 32 ft aluminum ladder destroying it ( now im out $350 bucks ) but he finally turned around. They said sense they are here they will still try to get the truck and proceeded to do so. So he back up to the front of the truck and used a wench. Not once did these guys fill up the air brake tanks or take my truck out of gear, So the winched snapped and they didn't get my truck. I call the heavy hauler driver on Wed the 28th and explained that we pulled the dump truck to the end of the driveway and its in the position that needs to be in to two it. He said sweet and I was nice for doing that and he would grab it at 5 am the next day DEC 29th. Well on December 29th I sent a text to him to see where he was and give him instructions. I got a message back at 6:54 am that they are just finishing up on a police call and head our way. My husband took off work for this and waited all day. At 10:48 am I sent another message that said just checking in in which he read and didn't respond. At 12:20 pm I sent another messaged explain that I was not trying to be difficult but need to know when they are coming sense my husband was missing work. He then responded that he was 15 mins away from dropping the truck off. Well 1:56 pm they show with the truck not on the flat bed that we discussed and didn't drop if where we asked it to be dropped. We got the this is as good as your gonna get spill. Ok what ever my husband pulled it again with our little 1500 and got it inside our property. Now heres the problem I have with Wylie towing, I have recorded calls, Pictures and videos to back my compliant in which I showed them. I called Philip and explained that the way the truck was towed was not ok and this is not what we agreed on. I explained that even though His driver destroyed my water line, my latter and my pasture I was cool and helped them out and gave them a 2nd chance. Now during this drop off on December 29th Wylie towing drove through my old nehibors yard leaving it destroyed. I was given the excuse that no matter what they would have to have pick up the truck from the back even though on DEC 6th they were wrenching it from the front and loading it with the cab of my truck facing the cab of their truck. A smart thing to do would have to been to communicate that they changed the plans on how to pick up my tuck and call and say hey we may rut up the area do you want us to go head and proceed? But they are horrible at communicating. I proceeded to tell them they wont listen and just pass blame, DIC the driver said I scratched of my tanks when I got stuck. I proceeded to tell him I told you not to go that far off the road and after all that you didn't even put air in the tanks and broke the wrench. He proceeded to tell me yeah we where frustrated that night. Again my phone was recording while both him and Paul came to my house tonight to tell me how I was wrong with a smug attitude and play I didn't say that game. So I told him I had him on recording and he called my bluff and told me to play it for him in which I did after he swore up and down he didn't say that. So once he realized I indeed had him recorded he told me what do you want. I told him that they need to fix the damages to all the peoples yards they drove through, replace my ladder and refund the tow fee. A friend of mine had a motorcycle wreck and while he was in the hospital he asked me to check on his bike. When I called a very pleasant young lady answered the phone politely gave me all the information I needed in order to find the forms I needed and how to fill them out. When I arrived the same lady helped me with getting to see the bike and get some of my friends personal item out of it. The owner happened to have been there and helped me and my friends get the items on a very hot day. Everyone was very nice and professional. As for as the building itself don't expect this nice customer oriented place after all its a Tow Truck Wrecking Yard and have to deal with all types of people that you could only imagine what they have to deal with. It blow my mind when reading reviews of what they expected. TERRIBLE!!!!! I understand you're angry because of where you work but don't take it out on the customer paying so you have your measly job. 1st day there the owners wife starts yelling at us bc we were blocking where the tow trucks go. She was yelling and grabbing her head as if I was killing her puppy....next day come back to get radio (trucks totaled btw) per our adjuster and the girl behind the spider filled counter starts giving me the "lafonda" head shake saying the email is not enough that I need the adjuster to call to say it's ok....IT'S MY PROPERTY!!!! IT'S TOTALLED!!!! She had a bad attitude....do not use them....my case worker called to come out here to look at the truck and they were not here....not professional at all...you have to walk through cobwebs with banana spiders at face level and HUGE wolf spiders with egg sacks fighting on the counter wall... it's obvious you don't care about customers (aka money) when you degrade them and make them hang out with spiders....just sayin.
