Crawfish!!
Aundra W.

We went to Wrong Iron to watch the Super Bowl and made sure to get there early. Thankfully, there were still seats available, and we grabbed a spot by the fire pit. Once the sun went down and the temperature started dropping, they turned it on and it was perfect. It kept us warm and made the whole setup even better. There was crawfish being sold, and of course I had to get some. It was so good and definitely added to the experience. The place was packed because of the game, but the bar inside moved surprisingly fast. There were plenty of bartenders working, so I didn't have to wait long at all. The crowd here is always friendly, which makes a big difference during big events like this. I really enjoyed myself watching the game. The only thing I wish they had was a few blankets available since it does get chilly outside at night. Also, no pets were allowed because of how large the crowd was for the Super Bowl, which makes sense. I've brought my dog before on regular visits and can't wait to bring her back again. Wrong Iron always delivers a good time. I'll definitely be back.

Spacious with indoor, porch and outdoor seating. Great service at bar. Bartenders are friendly and yet keep the bar flow moving. Separate area for ordering food. Lots of options for a bar and super tasty. Ideal spot for watching sports. Awesome location for large parties was able to walk in with my bookclub.

Wrong Iron has been the go-to spot for years for people who want a laid-back Friday night or a chill place to pregame before dancing the night away at (insert New Orleans club here). They have a great selection of drinks. No trip to Wrong Iron for me is complete without getting a mango cart on tap. Pair this with the carne asada nachos they serve as well, and it's such a cheat code. Their fire pits are so nice when the weather is a bit cooler and you can roast marshmallows. Wrong Iron is a New Orleans classic!

I came here to watch the game and I loved the vibe and atmosphere. The staff were really nice and informative. The service was really fast and the food and drinks were amazing with plenty of seating. This is a great place to watch the games or just hang out

Great spot for game watching. The drinks are strong & the food is good. Everything is reasonably priced. The vibes are great. Outdoor seating but there is an area that is covered. Pet friendly as well.

Wrong Iron is hands-down one of the best places in the city if you're looking for a fun hangout, a game watch spot, or just somewhere with good vibes and energy. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels electric but laid-back at the same time -- it's got that perfect balance of party spot and neighborhood gathering place. It's ideal for game days because the screens are well placed, the sound is great, and there's always an excited crowd that makes watching sports here a blast. The DJ adds to the energy, keeping the music flowing and the vibe upbeat when the games aren't on. It's honestly one of my favorite spots when I want that mix of fun, food, and entertainment all in one. Speaking of food and drinks -- the menu is solid for casual bites, and the drinks are even better. The frosé is my absolute favorite (so refreshing and dangerously good). They also keep the bar stocked with a good selection of beers and cocktails, so there's really something for everyone

Great spot to hang out and have some bevverages and watch sporting events. the place has an indoor and outdoor area which are both very large and accodmiating. Get there early because it does get crowded.

Football is Almost Back! I'm finally getting around to reviewing this spot, though I've been coming here since last year. It's a fantastic place for NFL Sundays! Even with a packed house, the staff gets the job done--and they do it fast and with a smile. This has become one of my favorite spots to frequent during football season. I've really missed this place, and I can't wait to be back. See you soon!

Loved this beer garden. We watched the game outside in one of their multiple screens. Such a cool outdoor space with long tables for big groups. We tried several beers and their expresso martini on tap, it was great. The bar inside was packed but it had a very cozy feeling. The bartenders were great, even gave me a sample of their rosé to taste. Cant recommend enough! The food outside was surprisingly good, we had chicken tenders and shrimp tacos.

The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food and beer are both excellent. I love this place

Loved our dinner here!…read more We arrived around 7pm on a Thursday night. They check IDs at the door. You must be 21 or older to set a foot inside. The doorman was super friendly and fast - we had 6 in our group and there were other groups arriving at the same time. The first room that you enter sells wine, beer and charcuterie. You can choose your meats, cheeses and they'll put it on a beautiful platter for you. Then you go outside or upstairs. We wanted to sit down to eat so we sat in the upstairs back room. We ordered our food using the QR code. You have to get your own flatware and water. The chicken with the grits was excellent. Pork chop was okay, not as good as the chicken. There was a live band on the stage in the garden that played only through 9am.

Then we walked into the courtyard which was packed (so like people must love this place i get it). There was finally an open table and we had been waiting for a spot so when the people at a table started getting up, I was literally milliseconds away from sitting down. Enter: an older woman who apparently had been training for the Table Olympics her entire life. She basically TRAMPLED me, threw all her stuff on the table and goes, "Sorry, this is taken." OKAY GRANDMA YOU WIN. I don't want it anymore. She clearly deserved it way more than I did. Absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant, but at this point my evening had already gotten off to a weird start. We headed upstairs to the bar where there were two open seats. There were four of us so two sat and two stood which was fine. Unfortunately, the bartender acted like our presence was personally offensive. We felt so awkward and unwelcome the entire time. BUT...the bread? AMAZING. Carb Queen here. And the bacon wrapped dates were also seriously good. (I loved them so much I have been making them at home, like who would of thought). So I'm torn. The food we had was great, but overall the experience just wasn't what I was hoping for after wanting to come here for so long. Maybe we caught it on an off night because I really do want to give it another shot.

We joined them in the courtyard, which had a giant canopy set up overhead protecting them (and us) from the pouring rain. There's a balcony that you can relax on for free, with visuals of intimate activities that range from BDSM to DDLG (Daddy dom/Little girl). Needless to say, this wouldn't be suitable for anyone who isn't comfortable with that kind of artwork. This place advertises burlesque shows and "Shibari", however I did not see any of that during my visit. I do not dock points though because I'm certain there's a schedule that shows when these events occur. If you're interested in seeing one, best to make sure when they're taking place. There are security cameras all over the bar so this location can remain sex-positive and safe for guests. After ordering myself a drink, I chose to relax in their bright pink room with the large bean bag and teddy bear. This was my favorite spot for its light-hearted and playful atmosphere, although the room next to it was pretty exciting as well--with its black-and-white paintings of kinky exhibitionists. During my visit, I noticed that there was a collection of leftover glasses from previous guests. Since it was a slow Sunday night, I thought there would've been ample time for an employee to clean up that area beforehand. There was one barista that night, and while she was kind and made excellent cocktails, her voice was really low--making it difficult to hear her over the music. I'm glad the bar was empty, or else I may have not been able to hear her properly. Aside from those minor concerns with cleanliness and communication, I'd still say to give Fetiche Nola a shot if you're looking for a unique place to start off a long night of partying. Her songs are powerful, and great life stories. There is just enough amplification to highlight vocals, and seems perfect for the room. Not a great selection of liquors, but it's "enough".
