I was on the hunt for the best wings. Roosters very good. Wrigley- grand slam out of the park. Coworker recommended this place. It's easy to miss it so knowing it's next to motel with side street parking is key. Jordan was pouring the cold ones. She was sooooo friendly and dead on about the wings. I got three flavors = all crispy and cheeseburger was charbroiled. Btw I got them to go and tasted even better the next day. This place is by far the best for me so far. I drive by this place all the time and never think of going in - but, after tasting their soup at a charity event - I knew I had to try it. From the outside, it seems like typical motel restaurant. But, when you go inside - it has both sports bar and diner vibes. In a great way. As soon as I walked in, I though this was my kind of place. The special the day we went was chicken fried steak (or chicken) - at price that was lower than a burger. I had to have that. And it was quite good. Crisp fried beef, flavorful gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, and Texas toast. It was a popular choice and I can see why. Tasty, filling and inexpensive. My husband has a burger (Boondocker?). It was a little more expensive than the special - but, oh my was it good. It is a burger topped with grilled onions, ham and cheese. The onions were beautifully grilled - still had texture, but had that grill favor. The ham was thinly sliced, GRILLLED, and served generously. The combination of flavors and the attention to detail with the grilling was perfection. Clearly we will be back and we will definitely have burgers. There are pool tables and table shuffleboard or - you can just enjoy the bar! read more

I have been coming to this place for a while now, but I am surprised by the consistent negligence of the staff. I often experience irrational behavior orchestrated by the management which includes but is not limited to discrimination, sexism, and downright immature behavior. As a college student I'd like this place to be a weekly hangout, but the dehumanizing characteristics and sour employee attitudes force me and my friends to look elsewhere. There have been several occasions in Wrigley's that I can remember severe overreactions from the employees or "security" if you can call them that. I am surprised at the willingness of the employees to embarrass and exasperate situations that would otherwise be easily resolved. Perhaps the impatient and power hungry employees should think twice before blatantly disrespecting their clientele. After experiencing such a disastrous night, I can highly recommend against going to Wrigley Field. read more

Nothing to complain about with regards to the food. Its on the fried/greasy side, but that's what makes it taste good. They have a couple of pool tables and free table shuffle board. I have been a hand full of times. Its your typical bar scene, but a step up. I don't drink, but I can see this place being very inviting to a drinker. read more

In town for a family event and Wrigley Field was suggested top for a drink and quieter place than club down town. Upon walking it felt like a great local place with what appeared to be a few regulars. When ordering at the bar someone at the end of the table threw ice at my cousin when his back was turned. We ignored it and sat down to enjoy or drinks and conversation. The whole time we were there the group of what I am assuming are regulars and threw the ice stared at us and pointed from time to time. The one lady appeared to work there (going behind the bar and serving her self and her group. Whole time things seemed pretty uncomfortable. When one of the guys went to the bar corner close to the door and just look at us the whole time, we decided it was best we just leave. The group I was with normally loves the local bars and the people in them. This not true of this establishment which is sad. Definitely not the way to treat any customers and especially the veterans I was with. Will never see our business again. read more

My party was left unattended by two of the other servers but she made her way to us to rn sure all our needs were tended to and that my party had an exceptional time. Strange the name of this place is Wrigley Field but no one at the bar could care less about the Cubs or Bears. I walked in with a Cubs hate and was expecting to discuss another terrible year but was overwhelmed by Broncos fans. I am not surprised at the broncos but just lack of anything else. If you are going to call yourself Wrigley Field then you would think there would be some italian beef or corned beef or something related to the city of Chi-town. not the case at all. Just a Broncos bar. The beers were set at a decent price - especially for fat tire. TV's were old and crummy. About a 1/4 of the tvs you couldn't see the score because of the poor offset. Food was standard bar food. Nothing to rave about and the cost was a little on the high side. Bartender was friendly and took care of us. My buddy and I went here as we were traveling cross county. I would have selected otherwise but not a complete bust. read more

Old Chicago was packed, and my buddy and I wanted to watch game seven of the Lakers/Nuggets series, so he suggested Wrigley Field. Big mistake. The TVs near the bar looked terrible, so I went to look for a better one. It turns out they're all bad. No HD here. Anyway, we asked for menus, the bartender gave them to us we and ordered some food. She looked at the clock, it was 10:04, and said sorry, the kitchen's closed. Huh? I asked if she could ask the cook if he would take another order. "Sorry hun, kitchen's closed." Then she proceeded to take all of her dirty glasses from a slow evening and line them up in right in front of us on the bar. DISGUSTING! We left and watched the fourth quarter at the Ale House. I will never go back. The only plus is that she comped my DD drinks. This place is still gross. Really gross. Finally, I'm no fashion critic, but the unattractive bartender, who was pushing fifty and not exactly svelte, was wearing a spangled denim mini skirt and zebra striped knee socks! However...... $15-$20 ish tab....left $5 tip on the table and payed tab at bar.... 2 days later received cc charge for $41.72! WTF?!?! Do you think we don't look at our statements?.... I was in there tonight for the first time enjoying a beer after work. I went up to the bar to get a second beer and stood there for 5 minutes while the bartender counted her tips. A gentleman walked up from behind, kind of diagonally and she talked to him instantly. I asked what I owed her and told her I was going to order another round but was ignored for 5 minuets and I would go else where. She was very sarcastic and rude with her apology. I work in the industry and would have lost my job immediately if I treated a costumer that way. Most definitely will not be returning to this establishment. After I left I called to see if there was a manager I could speak to and she claimed to be the manager. I asked if there was any other one there and she said not the manager won't be in until after 10 tomorrow and to call back then. So she was caught in a lie. read more

I wish I could rate service and food on 2 separate scales. Our food was fine. Worst service I've had in a long time. Whole ordeal took 2 hours. Met some friends for lunch on my lunch break...I work a couple blocks away and they were heading back to Chicago (where we are all from, hence why we wanted to go to a place called Wrigley Field and hopefully get a picture with the sign) The server didn't even acknowledge our table for at least 25 minutes. Once we finally ordered, our food took forever. We contemplated walking over to Wendy's and canceling our order before it finally came out. As we sat in front of our long-empty plates and un-refilled glasses, we contemplated the cause of the delay. Hmmm...it is high noon and you have one server plus one bartender who is taking tables. Every table is full. Apparently management doesn't anticipate that this is 'lunchtime' when making the schedule. Also we appeared to be the only people under the age of 80 in the whole joint. Perhaps, in our mid- thirties, we appeared to have escaped from the nursing home ourselves and therefore, were not in any hurry to get anyplace. Getting our bill was the equivalent of wrestling a ribeye away from a hungry pit bull. Tried piling the plates at the edge of the table, putting our coats on as a hint, nothing. Server came by and asked if we wanted drink refills, we said no, I'm on my lunch break and have to get back to work, can we have our check please? 15 minutes later no check. I go to the bar with money in my hand and say 'I really need to pay you so I can get back to work and my friends can hit the road.' Blank look. 'Are you paying for just you or for the table?' she asks. 'Ma'am, I'm about ready to pay for this whole bar if it will get me out of here faster!' She tells me to go back to my table and wait for her. I only had a large bill or I would have just left money on the table and left. When she got out there I handed her said large bill (same one I had in my hand that I tried to pay at the bar with) and she said she didn't have change and would have to be back. So irritated and late for work I was about to scream I told her to keep the change then, which would have fed 10 starving Ethiopian kids for a week. Needless to say, we didn't get our picture with the Wrigley Field sign...probably a good thing as it is an experience I'd rather forget! And also....for a place called Wrigley Field, it would be more welcoming to Cubs fans to actually have Chicago memorabilia up instead of looking like Broncos incorporated threw up all over the walls...I understand catering to the locals but they can see Denver crap anywhere out here, so name it Mile High instead of you're going to do that. read more

We called and made reservations for 25 or so people including kids. When we got there no one knew anything about our group. We couldn't be in the dart room, the kids couldn't touch the pool tables, no kids allowed on the patio, and the one waitress was clearly overwhelmed. I love their burgers. Tasty and huge! Even better on Wednesdays when they're on special. Even the buns they use are so good and fresh! Atmosphere is average sports bar stuff but their food is the best bar food around. Saturday and Sunday breakfast. It's good! And less than most all breakfast joints. read more

I have visited this establishment several times since moving to Grand Junction a few weeks ago. I figured I would give it an opportunity to prove the previous reviews I have read wrong. It was recommended by a local, since she used to work here, but my experiences have been incredibly similar to prior reviews I have read on Yelp. They do have a few good staff members, but the majority of them aren't even close to par. This is my current experience: I sat at a booth, but the waitress continuously brought over bottles of ketchup and mustard so she could refill them later. She paid close attention to what seemed like regulars, but rarely came over to ask how I was doing. I eventually moved to the bar once the waitress started refilling said ketchup and mustard bottles, but when I tried to order a drink, the bartender put her finger up to shush me and pointed to the waitress so I could continue being served by her. The bartender didn't say one word to me. At all. The waitress knew what I was drinking, so she brought it over quickly. I also noticed that both of them disappeared several times into the back to talk on their cell phones, which resulted in me having to wait several minutes for a drink. I don't think I will visit this establishment again, given the level of service today. They weren't busy, and they failed to put the customer first. They have never seen me before, and a bar should be more attentive and welcoming to new patrons, rather than regulars, in order to grow their business. I am in the service industry, and manage a local business. I would strive to ensure every person walking into the bar was not only greeted, but received world-class service. I truly felt like a second-class-citizen during 5 out of 6 visits. I'm disappointed, and I hope they improve in the future. You need progress, not perfection, Wrigley. read more

My wife and went into Grand Junction after a few days in the mountains. I am a diehard Cubs fan and have been my whole life. So, going to a bar named Wrigley Field in Colorado was a chance I couldn't pass up. I loved the Cubs memorabilia on the walls. The service was great and the food was pretty tasty. Lisa was so pleasant. She gave us some dried apple slices "just because" and recommended a sandwich for us that did not disappoint. We have only been here twice and both times have been great. I recently noticed for the first time on my Bill that they rounded UP the bill. When I inquired the bar tender, Tara, told me that bars don't have to give change. When I looked it up online I found just the opposite was true. What I found which was supposedly according to the States Attorney Generals Office is they are ONLY ALLOWED to charge the customer the exact amount! Despite others services DISHONESTY should never be part of a businesse's practice!! read more
