We attended happy hour on a Friday of the bike festival. Our selected seating was outdoors on the patio place was very crowded. However, service was good. I had the peach cinnamon old-fashioned, it was very tasty and unique. Additionally, my wife had a blueberry vodka drink. The bartender was able to substitute the syrup, blueberry vodka for regular vodka lightly flavored is very good. I will return. read more

Upon entry, my server Kaylee greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. After showing me to my table, she gave great suggestions from the menu. For an appetizer, I chose the deviled eggs. It was a nice presentation of a hard boiled egg white that was then deep fried then filled with a creamy yolk however, it lacked flavor. For my meal, I chose the Mushroom smash burger and it was the complete opposite. It was full of flavor and came with a side of seasoned fries. Was going to write a review the first time we came here for lunch, but third times a charm! Dang! The PF's Smash Burger is sooo good! Not greasy, perfectly smashed, cooked to perfection and I love the chopped onions in the burgers! Many compliments to the chef(s)! The fries are def my kinda fries...crispy on the outside and lightly salted/peppered. A little ranch dressing for dipping and mmm-mmm good! Can't really comment about the inside of the restaurant because we have sat outside under their covered patio all three times...so lovely! Lots of seating and fire pit tables to keep everyone warm during cooler temperatures. Service has always been excellent. Be sure to check them out...highly recommend! read more

Had dinner on Saturday evening for the first time. Really liked the grits and shrimp entree. The wait staff were excellent. Prompt and friendly. The down side was the ambiance. It felt like we were eating in a warehouse which left the experience somewhat negative. The average ratings of 3.4 I feel are very representative of our experience. Watched the table next to us cash out and leave, seat new people, get drinks, get food and eat without getting our single order of nachos. Finally flagged a server just to pay and leave and still couldn't get a bill. Had to flag down a second server who then charged us for food we never got so we had to fight just to get that taken off before we were able to pay and get out. Would not recommend. Will not EVER go back! I first visited this bar a couple of months ago. I had a couple of drinks 'on ice'. When I got the bill , they had charged me $2 extra per drink for 'ice'. When I inquired about it, the bartender said the charge was because they add a 1/2 ounce of liquor more because of the ice. I complained and the manager removed the charge. The bartender said this was common throughout the bars in Grand Junction. (I have never experienced that and have been to many places in the Grand Valley). So... fast forward to a couple of months later. I decided to give them another chance. I had a beer and a whiskey 'NEAT' (no ice). I get my bill AND they charged me $2 for neat! That made one shot of liquor at $12! Talked to the manager who graciously removed the charge. He said that he fixed something in his computer and assured me it would never happen again. There are so many other great places in downtown Grand Junction to have a drink...and even better food...the Rockslide, Ale House, Ramblebine, Fiesty Pint, Moody's and many more. Oh! First off, the rating has nothing to do with the service, which was great. Super friendly and fast. However, this is one of the few restaurants in GJ that doesn't offer any vegan or gluten free bun options on the menu. So we had a couple beers--and my GF son had a coke--and we left. Again, not the server's fault and he was so nice. But please, it's time to update the menu from things covered in cheese. And maybe offer an impossible burger or bean burger substitute. And it's so easy to offer GF buns for the burgers! Even Red Robin has that choice. The venue is super cool though. This could be a winner with a couple small changes. read more

Husband and I had lunch here for the first time. Dark, sports bar interior. Friendly staff. We had the BBBLT sandwich with fries. I was eager to dive into this sandwich when it arrived. Although it was good, my husband and I had different opinions. He liked that it plenty of bacon, as the menu stated. My reaction was that it was just okay. Why? The sandwich was a little spicy. I wish this was stated on the menu as I would have tried something else. After several bites, all I tasted was spicy. I ended up letting my husband eat the last half of my sandwich. The fries are coated and seasoned. They are very good. We both said we'd eat here again. Husband said he would order the BBBLT again. I will not. My husband & I ate here shortly after they opened, approx. 1 yr. ago. As indicated in my original review, we weren't exactly pleased, but we said we'd give it another try after they fixed the kinks. We went for lunch today to celebrate our dogs birthdays. My husband ordered the Cajun rib wings & said, "they were some of the best wings I've ever had". Additionally, the portion was huge! Unfortunately I like to find the best on people and in life in general. But this restaurant needs help. Staff was friendly but we didn't get our first drink until after 30 minutes of being seated at our table. I just think the work ethic is not a thing with the young generation. Good people just missing. If we had a diligent waitress, we would've had more than one drink in the hour and a half that we were there. As for the food it was good taste but I got the pull pork sandwich and the amount of meat that was in my sandwich was that of a slider and not a full sandwich. Great place to watch a game but they're are missing out on better service when it comes to drink orders. This restaurant is very new, less than a year old. They did a good job with the food, it was tasty. The spinach dip was a little on the cool/lukewarm side and my shrimp hoagie was a little lukewarm (cool inside) but still tasty. But we will definitely try again when we come back next year. My first first visit and review was not appealing. I returned to Pour Fellows with a large group of people. The service was spot on good. She never lost focus and ensured each of us had drinks and meals in a timely manner. The food was excellent. I had the pork sandwich. Just the right amount of sauce but the coleslaw could have been more generous on the sandwich. It's a matter of personal taste I think in that regard. Some like a taste and others heaping. The salads an abundance of variety to satisfy any palate. The soup and toasted sandwich combo next to me kept my appetite wanting as the soup curled the air with flavor. I highly recommend trying the fried deviled eqqs as a starter. They are awesome. I already have my next meal planned. Thanks for a great time and good meal! read more

We had dinner here last night and everything we ordered was great! Might be one of the best spinach artichoke dips in town! Philly cheesesteak was amazing as well, along with a great Happy Hour! We are a fan of the Mules here, Prickly Pear is recommended. Great atmosphere, can't wait for warmer weather to sit outside on patio! All the servers helped pitch in to make sure the service was good and the food came out hot! Finished off with the apple cobbler and ice cream, which is another high recommendation! We dropped in for an appetizer and a drink around 8:00 pm. The crowd was light. More on the patio than in the dining room. Our waitress was pleasant. Boneless wings were ok, however I am by no means a connoisseur so keep that in mind. TVs were plentiful so we could watch the game. Honestly it had a incongruent vibe. Not quite restaurant not quite pub or sports bar. It might be interesting if they created some casual living room sections in addition to traditional dining. IDK can't quite put my finger on it. Visiting for the afternoon and saw this new restaurant was open. Went in got a table and then took our 11 month old to change her diaper. No changing tables or counters in the bathroom. Told my husband what drink to order me while I walked a block back to our car to change a diaper. By the time I got back, no one had even been by the table to greet him. The table of 2 who sat down after us had waters and cocktails. Being a server for many years, I gave it 5 more minutes while watching a couple of servers walk by us aimlessly. When the host walked by, I told her we were going to leave because no one had been by. Instead of apologizing and saying let me grab a server- she said have a good night. What a shame. read more

It isn'tveasy writing this. We are great fans of the Gowt and Clover so we had expectations. We hit the first glitch with the reservations we made via their 'reserve a table. The host coukd not find us Even though we received two confirmation emails and on the day, two text messages. We were very excited. I ordered the ribs with potato salad and side Caesar salad and my wife got the pulled pork, garlic mashed potatos and a side Caesar salad. We ordered two margaritas. The margaritas were fantastic which only fueled our anticipation. My potato salad was tasteless which I tried to help by adding salt and pepper but that didn't help. I received to large looking racks of ribs. I was able to eat one rack as it had actual meat on it. But without the BBQ sauce they would not have had any flavor. The second rack was nothing but pure gristle and was inedible. The Caesar was ok. My wife's pork contained a lot of fat which I saw piled on the side of her. She commented that the mashed potato's did not have any flavor and left it alone. She did like the Caesar salad. One thing we did not enjoy at all was the noise level. There is a very loud din from conversations and having music sure didn't not help the situation. It's not enjoyable when you have to lean in to hear your dinner guest speaking loudly. On the way home we didn't say too much. Perhaps like me, my wife was in conflict about our experience. At home we had similar feelings. We REALLY REALLY wanted to like this place but we're extremely disappointed. Will we return? Probably not. I wish it success. But we believe Pour Fellows May be on a similar trajectory that plagued another of the Goat and Clover's efforts had, La Cabre. We went to Pour Fellows as a back up place for my birthday. We've been wanting to stop in anyway and give it a try. My wife got the grilled cheese and tomato soup and I got the pastrami sandwich with blu cheese coleslaw. The grilled cheese was like two sandwiches with barely any cheese, more bread. The pastrami was supposed to be thinly sliced pastrami on sourdough bread. The blu cheese coleslaw was inedible and the thick pastrami was very tough. Our server was very disinterested in doing her job. I ask for a couple of extra napkins and she placed them on the other end of the table. She placed the check in front of me, then placed my credit card and receipt again on the opposite side of the table. Definitely didn't think she was worth a 20% tip, sorry. Won't be back. read more

We tried this wonderful place for the first time recently. We sat on the patio which is nice and open with the tables spaced apart and not packed in. Nice view of downtown and the traffic circle. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Our server was very nice and very on the spot, we waited for nothing. The food was great, I had the pastrami sandwich which is one of the best I've had and I have looked far and wide for one in GJ. My wife had the meatloaf sandwich, both were excellent. Yesterday was my first time to Pour Fellows. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. The food tasted good and was of a generous portion. The pricing was what you would expect from a sit-down Grand Junction Burger place. I didn't drink any alcohol so I can't comment on the pricing or selection. There is plenty of parking but expect to pay $1.00 an hour at the parking meters on weekdays, 8 to 5 p.m. Don't plug the meters on weekends! read more
