However, as I tore out the cabinets and the tiled shower walls, the wood studs behind the walls were rotten and damaged from water exposure. I had no clue what to do. I had basically opened up a huge can of e worms! I now felt daunted by the task and (shame on me) a few years passed. This past year I decided it had to get done. I wanted to find the right person. I have watched my immediate family members spend money on fixing up their homes only to have the work they ended up with being shoddy with crooked tiles, structural issues, etc. It is scary to spend thousands of dollars on work that may turn out badly. In the end, I actually got five quotes. Robert Nash sounded knowledgeable on the phone, asking me some qualifying questions and we scheduled a day and time to meet. He offered some ideas and showed me some pictures. His assistant, David, gave his input as well. I highly recommend Nash Kitchen and Bath if you are looking for a contractor who truly cares about making your home look as great as you desire. I now have a beautiful, modern master bathroom. They take pride in their work, are reasonable and communicative. They did their job well and regularly kept in touch with the job's progress. I was able to get any questions answered quickly. Our house needed eaves and soffets re-stained after 13 years - but the steep metal roof, multiple…read moreroof lines and (in a couple of places) 30-foot high eaves required a knowledgeable and skilled work crew. Don McGee's crew was professional and concientious about performing a safe but thorough job, with bleaching, power washing and two coats of stain on all surfaces. And it was rough cedar wood to boot, a very difficult surface to paint! I could find not one drip after they were done, and the house simply POPS with its new protection. Due to the high caliber of work I added a lot of additional painting of lintels, doors and kitchen cabinets, all done with the same careful, thorough and concientious approach I saw on the outside. I am very pleased with the work, which is just finishing up, and would recommend Don and his crew to all.

Two complaints: I was told twice that they would come back and paint an area (about two square feet) under the eaves that they missed. A year later, this hasn't happened, and I'm sure it never will. And they seem to have painted the exterior doors with latex over previous oil. The paint has been peeling off like saran wrap wherever anyone has dinged it.

The screw ups where to many to mention here but the highlights are: Misaligned and crooked grout lines, Tiles not flush, exhaust fan not vented thru roof. And to top it off they did not pull a permit for the electrical or plumbing. They even hid a junction box behind the sheetrock in a wall ( this is a major NEC violation). I had to hire a master electrician to come in and fix the wiring. i did get compensation back from lowes after the store manager finally came out to look at the horrible install. This is not a good company to do business with!
