Very underwhelmed. Chicken tikka masala wasn't seasoned exactly right. Can't put my finger on it. The chicken parts were dry and a little tough. The rice was dry, like it had been made hours and hours ago. The nan wasn't chewy enough, and because I had ordered garlic, it appeared to have been flooded with oil, just soaking wet with plain oil. It wasn't even garlicky. As the flavor of the nan and the masala was part of the problem, I don't believe the whole p Issue was due to the fact that I had dined in on a Sunday (Easter) afternoon. Wraps 'N' Curry is a small Indian Fast Food Restaurant located in an older strip mall in North Phoenix. It's in the spot where Mi Comida was on Bell Rd. This restaurant is hard to see from the road because Taco Bell is in front of them. This is a casual restaurant. You order at the counter and seat yourself. We started with the Aloo Tikki. We got two Indian Spiced Potato patties and a bowl of Indian seasoned garbanzo beans. Both were good. The potato patties were very tasty and seemed free of grease. The garbanzo beans were tender and also tasty. Both were fresh made. It was bigger and better than what I was expecting for only $4.95 I also tried the Desi Chicken Wrap. The wrap was made with a naan bread wrapper that was almost like a big tortilla. It was lightly brushed with mint mayo. Inside was a crunchy fresh salad and Tandoori chicken. Everything was tasty and fresh! I didn't taste the green chilies it was suppose to have so either they didn't use much or that ingredient might have been forgotten but I was still happy because it was tasty. They also gave us masala fries that were fluffy with crisp exteriors that were lightly dusted with something that taste like garam masala. This was a GREAT VALUE at only $7.95 Me and my husband were more impressed with the Crunchy Fish Wrap. I thought it was just going to be a frozen fish stick but no .......it was real hand battered mild tasting fish. It was very tasty! Small hole in the wall place that isn't to be missed! Order to take out over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised that it was only a 10-minute wait for my lamb saag with basmati rice and garlic naan. I actually enjoy the food here. I called to place an order and the woman that answered the phone was very rude and kept calling me sir. When I told her I was not a sir she chuckled and said ok "SIR" what would you like. I again said that I was not a sir and she then rudely said " WHAT DO YOU WANT?" I then drove to the restaurant to speak to a manager about her rudeness and calling me sir. When I told her I was the one that called, she then changed her story and said "I was being nice to you and couldn't hear you" VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE. I order off their vegan menu and everything I had tried has been AMAZING! They have a big vegan menu with lots of options and they're quick to deliver. We order the chicken korma every time, through Doordash, but the restaurant isn't far from us so we'd like to try to eat in sometime. The korma always tastes delicious as does the garlic Naan, but we've noticed we've been getting less and less chicken in the sauce. So we're left with sauce and there is always a lot of rice left that we then don't have any idea what to do with so it gets thrown out. I hope it's different in the restaurant. read more

We've been craving Indian but couldn't find anything local until we found Wraps N Curry. This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the staff was super friendly. They helped us with recommendations and were extremely kind. We ordered for takeout and there was a nice waiting area and service was quick. SO good we can't get enough. We have to fight ourselves every week NOT to order dinner from here so we don't over-do it, although I'm not sure it's possible. I could eat here every day! We've never been in the restaurant but every time we've ordered from door dash, the delivery is always very fast! The food is always so fresh and delicious. The portion sizes are great, we're always so full afterwards! We recently tried the biryani and it's a new favorite. The flavors are amazing and once you start eating it you can't stop. Four years to the date that I wrote my first review of Wraps 'n' Curry I'm still ordering Indian food from this tiny gem of a restaurant, and it's still great! The only difference is that with my continued mobility problem and the Covid pandemic I now have my order delivered to my home. You have not had butter chicken (Chicken Makhani) until you've had it from Wraps N Curry. Oh my god. My husband and I order lots of food through DoorDash, but I normally do pick up from this location because it's pretty far from our area. We are all the way down on Maryland Ave, so I have to drive up the 17 to get to Bell Rd. Every time it's worth it. While I don't necessarily have as high an opinion about their other dishes (we've had the chicken tikka masala, sag paneer, aloo ghobi, chana masala and samosas) the chicken makhani blows everything else out of the water. It's really that delicious. I'm not sure what they're putting in it to make it so damn good, but please don't change a thing!! Fiancé and I have been itching for a new place to visit. We have not explored Indian cuisine together so we searched and thought we'd give Wraps N Curry a try since it had many great reviews. Ok, the pesto naan is a must! It's airy, soft, crispy and savory. I could probably eat 5 in one sitting. I didn't take a picture but I got the most popular Desi wrap. It was delicious, chicken had lots of flavor. Would try something else on my next visit. Fiancé liked his plate but wasn't to enthusiastic as it was similar to Mexican culture. There was only one server waiting us and another couple. She provided good service and checked in with us. Upon arrival this place doesn't look like much but don't let this discourage you! The place is a hole in the wall place and isn't much. The seating area is small but nothing crazy. The staff upon arrival was super kind and helpful. We decided to dine in. They have a ton of menu options and ordered the chicken tikka masala, basmati rice and garlic naan. OMG THE FOOD SO SOOOOO GOOD!!!! the consistency and the flavors were perfect! The portions were also very filling as well! Got takeout - and so enjoyed this! The Samosa Choley "Vegan" was delish. Loved the Raita as well - dipped my Sesame Naan in it. Gil ab Jamun was also very nice! The food is sosoSO good! I mean, I was right in my assumption about it being cheap, BUT THE FOOD IS WAY BETTER AND MORE PLENTIFUL THAN EXPECTED. For reference - our third visit at this restaurant was tonight, where we brought a friend from New York. We had: a double order of appetizers, we each had our entree, and ordered dessert - Our tab was still under $50 for THREE PEOPLE. Chicken Curry- The chicken curry tastes homemade! I felt like I was at home and my mom had served me her chicken curry. Made me miss home. The sauce was seasoned perfectly, and not too bland and not too spicy. Naan- Their naan is so soft, not burnt. Fluffy, but not so airy. It was just the perfect amount of thickness. I can only imagine how tasty and satisfying their naan wraps are! Rice- Basmati Rice lightly tossed with saffron so some bits are a shade of yellow/red, just as I like it! Had a craving and found this little location on yelp. Chicken curry was very tasty I ordered it spicy and it was pretty good. I like it spicy so next round will be extra spicy. The rice was simple just needed a little salt and went well with my curry the garlic naan was very good and all tasted fresh. I like that The chicken is thighs verse breast makes for a more flavorful dish in my opinion. All you see for 12 dollars and easily feeds 2 people. I took most of it home and was very satisfied. 3.5 stars. We got the veggie wrap (potatoes and veggie inside naan) and paneer tikka wrap (paneer tikka in a bhatura). Both come with a side of masala fries. It's a good amount of food for one person, we couldn't even finish all the fries between the two of us. I liked the veggie wrap, as it was drier but still flavorful. Compare it to the texture of a falafel wrap. The paneer tikka masala had way too much paneer, and the curry inside just wasn't super great. This wrap got too soggy by the end. The bhatura itself was really soft and fluffy though, so I imagine the chole bhatura here would be good. Each wrap is around $10, and if you use their Groupon $10 for $20 of food deal, you're getting a really great deal. Minimal seating, maybe 10 people max. It's a pretty bare bones place but if you're in the area and hungry it's worth stopping by to grab a wrap. read more

Shouldve read the tip before ordering their chicken biryani it has no flavor more like made from rice cooker. Its bland and only couple of chickens. On top of that nasty stall white almond on rice just gross. 2/10. Their ras malai taste like white bread soaked in saffron syrup. Their goa fish curry very good though Chicken makhni curry taste so funky like they just mix tikka masala and add butter I thought it would be red sauce. Methi curry it's very good I can taste the spices. Their naan bread is good and presto naan taste way better. Customer service here lacking. I ask for fork she told me its in the bag.
