I love a fast, delicious, and convenient option that's also healthy! I went through the drive thru and didn't realize it was only for online orders but the owner was kind enough to serve me via drive thru anyways. I got the beef vermicelli bowl, eggroll, and a lemonade. The bowl and lemonade were refreshing on a hot day. I'd opt out of ordering the eggroll next time but I'll def be back for the other items.

Fresh | Delicious | Quick My husband discovered this place, so I have to give him the credit. It's near the Clackamas mall! This is a good lunch spot place when you are hungry and need a quick healthy bite to eat. Yummy quick Vietnamese food on the go. My husband and daughter ordered their spring rolls. You get two and it came with peanut butter sauce. Yum! I ordered a bowl: rice noodles, lemongrass chicken, teriyaki pork, some veggies, and their vegan green goddess dressing. Highly recommend their bowls! The woman said you can do half rice and half salad, so that reminded me of ordering at Panda Express. You get to choose two proteins too (veggie option is their tofu). It's nice to see vegetarian options here. The bowl is large, but it's the perfect amount since it's on a bed or rice/rice noodles. The ingredients were all fresh! That sauce did it for me though. Just make sure to have some gum handy afterward :P Good spot. We plan to be back with friends

Not overly exaggerating but I have Wrap N' Roll at least once a week. I love the build your own Vietnamese Salad Rolls or Rice/Vermicelli/Salad bowl. My go to is their rice bowl and beef bulgogi and pork lemongrass. So delicious!! For toppings I usually get "The Works". And their vegetables and herbs are so fresh. You also get an option of 2 of their sauces. I've pretty tried all their sauces and I personally just default to their peanut sauce and sweet fish sauce. The staff is great and such a quick and healthy meal for those nights when you are too lazy to cook.

This is the subway of Vietnamese spring rolls. Hells yeah. I like the easy concept of either picking your roll or warping it into a sandwich or rice bowl. It reminds me of Cuon (another viet place in downtown Portland) that has a similar concept. For around $9.50 for two rolls it's not bad but a bit pricey. A great "healthy" alternative to a burger or Panda Express. We got the nem nuong for the meat with the works with peanut sauce. I highly recommend adding avocado to your spring roll, it makes your roll super phat but man oh man it's so good. There's a giant kiosk to order on the left but it doesn't cover spring rolls on there. They sell boba and soft drinks on it, as well as a few appetizers. I also didn't realize they might have a drive through window?!! Like WHAT. I will be utilizing this in the future.

New DIY spring roll spot. Similar concept to chipotle or subway. The place looks and feels clean. And honestly, it is a good amount of food for the price. Each roll is pretty packed. I ordered three rolls: nem nuong, beef bulgogi, and charbroiled lemongrass pork. For my two sauces, I chose peanut sauce and Thai chimichurri. The proteins all had good flavor and the sauces were tasty. However, I do wish that they were rolled more securely or maybe double wrapped because they were extremely difficult to eat. One of my rolls completely fell apart after the first bite. Another one was not even fully closed, the end of the wrapper was exposed and the rice paper was still hard.

I have been wanting to try this place since it opened! Summary -- if you know what this is OR if you really enjoy Summer or Salad Rolls you will enjoy this location!!!! You can also do Banh Mi or Bowls... but come on homemade summer rolls? First of all we walked in and I observed that it was very clean and well staffed. There were not many people in line when we first walked in but the line quickly grew and after we finished ordering the line was somewhat long. Thankfully we got there at the right time. When we were ordering our 1st set of 3 summer rolls the manager/owner (you could tell she was a leader and our conversation let me to believe that was the case but I didn't find out her title) had another employee start the next set of 3. This is a FUN place... it is made to order summer/salad rolls. When you get the set of 3 you can choose different meats in each or the same. You also get to choose veggies, toppings (think sesame seeds and crispy wonton roll which are BOTH great options) as well as a sauce -- we loved both the peanut and the curry peanut sauce. I will have to come back and get some of the others. The meats are sausage, chicken, bulgogi, tofu, fried shrimp or steamed shrimp. We tried bulgogi, chicken, sausage and shrimp in our orders and they were all delicious. If you don't know what veggies you want you can get the Works which has everything except scallions and jalapenos which you can add. Then they wrap each roll separately in the box so the rice paper doesn't stick... Then on top of all of those there is BOBA... omg... yum. The Thai Tea is great. The Vietnamese Coffee is great -- they use Cafe Du Monde which is awesome withe chicory -- IYKYK... and a Lychee slushie with mango popping boba. Listen all were awesome. They do have a frequent eater program. Go check this place out.

This newly opens establishment offers a fresh concept of building your own meal, with options including: salad rolls, sandwich, noodle bowl, rice bowls, or salad bowls. After selecting your choice, there is a variety of different proteins, vegetables, toppings, and sauces to choose from. I decided to go with the salad rolls with their recommendations and selected "the works," which included lettuce, cucumber, bean sprouts, pickled carrots, cilantro, herb melody, crispy wonton, and house sprinkles. The worker who helped me was pleasant and moved down the line to pack my salad rolls full of the fresh ingredients. I appreciated that each roll was separated with a sheet of plastic to help avoid the rice paper from sticking to each other and ripping open. The menu was large and easy to navigate, tables appeared clean, and plenty of seating! The ingredients tasted very fresh and I liked the different options of sauces. I felt like the meat seasoning could be enhanced a bit more but the sauces helped infuse that additional flavor I was craving. The original milk tea, mango green tea, and sea salt Vietnamese coffee was mediocre in my opinion.

We got there during the lunch rush and the line still moved pretty quickly. Staff was super friendly and the place was clean. Serving size was HUGE. And every thing was delicious.

Vietnamese sausage roll. Left is mine; right is my husband's. The meat portion is clearly unfair.

My husband and I ordered the three rolls bundle; Vietnamese sausage, beef bulgogi, and lemongrass pork. The kids had rice bowls. We also ordered their soft serve ice cream, Vietnamese coffee, and avocado smoothie. The food was good and the family would like to come back. The lemongrass pork was pretty salty but the rest of the protein was good. I'm unsure about returning because their portions are unbalanced depending on the staff you get to prepare your food. My husband and son were assisted by one of the female employees and they clearly got more food. My daughter and I were helped by the white male employee and got less food. The biggest discrepancy is in the Vietnamese sausage roll (see photo). My roll got one slice and my husband's got a bigger piece plus another small slice. The soft serve was loved by the kids and I would agree. The flavors were great and the ice cream was light, fluffy and creamy. Their avocado smoothie was also delicious but the Vietnamese coffee was burnt tasting (though some may like the dark flavor). The restaurant was clean. Their setup and layout were simple and well thought out. I would return if my family asks to and I'd probably go with the noodle bowl. And not to be sexist but I'll go with a female employee next time. I guess men think women deserve less food even though we're paying the same price.

I've been waiting for this place to open, and today I finally made it in! Do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, to this spot! The "build it how you like it"concept is stellar, the food is unbelievably delicious, the kitchen and restaurant is so clean, and the staff is welcoming and so sweet... You can tell everybody is excited to be working there and everyone is doing their part to make sure this place is successful. I got to talk to the owner today and she's incredibly excited and feeling positive about the business, and you should too! I had two rolls - one tofu and one lemongrass pork. You're able to select your protein, then you choose your vegetables, then your toppings and then your sauces. I highly recommend the spicy-delicious, coconut curry sauce, and the sweet original fish sauce is also really good with the pork. The little rolled fried wontons are a MUST in your roll! They also make a solid bubble tea... I had mango tea with jelly and it was splendid. Cannot wait to return!

Super cute new spot next to the mall. I was surprised when I walked in since they actually have a pretty large menu. I just got their tea for now, and it was really refreshing. Since they only opened 2 days ago, they're still training all their staff, but everyone is really nice and trying their best. I'll definitely have to come back and try their food next time.

I've come here with my husband three times, and every single time my salad rolls are noticeably smaller than his, even though we ordered the exact same items. What's more frustrating is that I was served by three different staff members on those visits, so this does not seem like a one time mistake. I honestly do not understand why there is an assumption that women eat less than men. If that is the case, then female customers should be charged less, but of course we are not. I am attaching a photo to show the size difference between my rolls and my husband's. The food tastes fine, but the inconsistency and unfair treatment are disappointing and take away from the experience.

Fast and friendly service! Food was filling yet not heavy. Next time we'll try some of the drinks or soft serve!

Really just fine. Their peanut sauce was very sweet and they don't give alot of meat in their bowls. Don't feel the need to come back.

I walked in and then up to the counter. I placed an order for an Oxtail Pho and an order of Egg Rolls. I paid and then stepped aside and sat at a table to wait. I don't know if it was because I was tired, but I felt like I was being inconvenient for placing an order. When my order was ready, it was plopped down where I sat. I took it and left. As I was leaving someone thanked me for my business. We ate two of the Egg Rolls sitting at a table in front of another business. They were served with Fish Sauce and were delicious. Hot, fresh and crunchy. We took the other two and my Pho back to our hotel. When I opened the Pho, the soup was in one container and the noodles and oxtails were in another. Jalapenos, basil, bean sprouts and lime were in a plastic baggie. The flavors were good. The oxtail was cut in an unusual way but had the right flavors. What I love about Pho Gabo is that the lesser known Vietnamese specialities really get a chance to shine here. These are items that a majority of Vietnamese places don't necessarily serve and can be quite rare throughout a the many pho restaurants we have in Portland. On this day I had the banh canh cua which is the crab udon noodle soup. Despite being a smaller restaurant with a lot of various dishes/soups....I was worried that the broths would taste "stale" since they might not have much turnover. However everytime I've dined at Pho Gabo this has never been a problem as if they cook everything regularly in small batches sorta like how Ha VL does it It was a very good rendition at BCC, especially for Portland only 2nd to my mom's version (no seriously my mom's version is S tier). Lots of crab and other ingredients like quail eggs, mushrooms, and a very very good pork loaf "cha." The cha here is really really good and that's saying something bc it's not something I gravitate to. My suggestion if you're new to Pho Gabo whether you are a beginner or veteran of Viet food is to stretch past your comfort zone and try something you've never had or don't regularly order and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
