I had to ship a few items to a family member and asked what the best place in Redding is to ship items, assuming UPS or FedEx but was recommended to try wrap and pack since I did not have a box; they will pack it and send it for you. They found the right size box getting me the cheapest rate due to the items I had to ship. The staff is amicable and friendly, and they do a great job! read more

Everyone at this business is nice and polite except for the crotchety lady with the glasses. Every time I have come in she is incredibly rude and seems inconvenienced to to her job. Fedex office is right around the corner and the ups store is up the road, I would suggest using them. read more

Craig was kind enough to let me bring in items over a few days and when I was done he expertly packed everything, found the lowest shipping rate and got my gear on the way. I've tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt but each time I go in the employees are rude to me and act like I'm inconveniencing them. I thought the first couple of times they were just having a bad day and brushed it off. I've since gone back a couple more times and still get rude service. I want to support local but I get better service at the post office. read more

I had just the loveliest experience at this store! It is so nice when you are traveling to find people who actually care. We found a really cool, but fragile, antique on our last road trip and I was concerned about taking it home in the car. These folks helped me out so much! I usually don't write yelp reviews, but felt compelled after my experience today. I gave two stars because most of the staff is nice,except for one lady who for some reason is always so rude to me and I don't know why. It's to the point where I feel nervous going in there and then I leave wondering what I did to deserve that. I'm not sure if maybe she doesn't realize that people can see the eye rolls and annoyance on her face and tone of voice? Or maybe she just doesn't care? Either way, I usually try to support local businesses, especially with everything going on right now, but unfortunately I don't think I will be using Wrap n Pack anymore. I'm glad it seems like a lot of other people have had good experiences with them, and I wish the best for the business. Just thought I would share my experience in case they are unaware of how they are coming off to some people. read more

I just love this local business! I have used their services many, many times over the 20 years I have lived in Redding. Everything from packaging and shipping Christmas presents across the country to last-minute overnight shipping to buying a card for a coworker. A couple times I have had to wait in line and they always make eye contact and let me know that they are aware I am waiting and that they will get to me as quickly as possible. What more could I ask for? They are consistently reliable, friendly, and competitive in pricing. I really won't go anywhere else. This is definitely a case of "buy local." This week, Craig F at Wrap-N-Pack called to discuss shipping me a delicate vintage subwoofer that I had recently bought on eBay. It was a heavy walnut-veneered box with an almost irreplaceable driver and a glass top. Craig quoted me a reasonable price for the shipment and we discussed how he would pack the subwoofer. He then shipped me the subwoofer and emailed me a tracking number the same day, and I received the box the next day. I was a bit nervous about opening it, but was delighted to find that the sub had arrived in perfect condition, double-boxed and very well protected. I shipped a odd shaped rather long package with Wrap N Pack recently. I asked about shipping it USPS but they assured me UPS would be better. The total cost including building a carton and insurance was $100. When it was returned to me by USPS, the insurance was only $17 vs. the $45 I paid. Also, the carton was so poorly made that it was damaged in return shipment. Since most of the item's weight was in the center of its length, the carton should have supported it in the center instead of letting the item flop around inside the box. I will never use their services again. read more

I can't disagree more with "Sharon O". The service and attitude at Wrap-N-Pack is stellar. I have never waited more than 2 minutes in line, I have never been greeted with anything less than a professional greeting and the overwhelming sense of "we're here to help you" attitude is refreshing. The owners are fast and friendly and always willing to help carry my packages into the store. I will always come to Wrap-N-Pack, over any other "mail center" in Redding. You can't beat the service, prices and the friendly faces of the team that works there. read more

So, i went into wrap and pack during the busy holiday season on a Monday to have something mailed off. Well when i went in I was not immediately greeted and that kinda miffed me but it is something i could get over. There was a kid at the desk and he didn't look up from his phone until i said something. At this point I was already getting irritated at the lack of service. I asked how much it would cost me to have something mailed off and if i needed two stamps for the type of letter i was sending and even being a lay person i know that may take more than one stamp to have something sent off. he told me that i needed a stamp obviously and it did not matter the size of the letter, I asked what his name was, he told me it was Jacob. At this point I asked to see a manger or supervisor, He told me there was no one there other than him that could assist me. I work in customer service and i would not recommend this place to anyone. Not only was this KID rude but he made sure that I will never go in there again. I hope someone sees this and something will be done. read more
