I go to this UPS store location if I'm in Redding, which I am a lot. It's located on Churn Creek Road just up the street a little from the In N Out and Panda Express across the street. Lots of parking, so no prob. I've found the best way to use UPS is get an account and set of all the billing and then you can do shipping label printing at home or at the office. I work out of my house, so I don't have a regular UPS pick up, so I just print the shipping label and bring it down to the UPS store. Drop off, get a tracking receipt and off I go. If there's a line, someone usually asks and just drop offs? Yep, that's me and off I go. If you want the best price on shipping and you don't need it to get there the very next day, UPS is fine. If you want over night, gotta be there the next day, go FED EX, they're the overnight delivery people, but they're ground service is not so good. What's good about this location, is if you're hungry, there's lots of places to get all kinds of food right nearby, from Mod Pizza, to In N Out, to Chinese food at Panda Express. read more

Terrible experience. Had to ship something overnight from Redding to Albany, OR. They assured me it wouldn't be a problem. They packaged the item and took my $92. The tracking info said it would be delivered the next day by 5pm. When the next day came, I again checked and now it would be delivered two days later. Unacceptable as the recipient would be on a plane to France. When I contacted the store the person I spoke with said the manager would contact me. He didn't. Now I'm screwed and requested my money back. According to the employee they have to file paperwork. What a cluster***k. read more

I went to ship a phone, thought it was going out UPS, they sent it out USPS, it said delivered, but it wasn't, the manager and the owner of this UPS store tried to resolve the issue, USPS denied the claim, this store filed 2 appeals, never resolved, the owner/manager then sends an email after 8 months that they are giving up and will not cover the $500 that the package was insured for, it was worth $800, now, I have to try and get help from USPS, with zero info from UPS, I am very disappointed with this store. read more

International shipping tried to stick exorbitant duty fee's on my package that I had sent and wouldn't delivery my package until paid. He worked tirelessly to remedy the fee's. I asked for a receipt to be printed from an email I had sent to them. They printed a one page email out ion such large print that it took three pages, one of them front and back. Also the pictures were not included. The clerk says that the page size pre-set and they can't make it smaller so they charged me for three pages and one front and back. If you print things you know they are cheating people. read more
