What I do is print my mailing labels at home from the postal app and my account get billed and than I don't have to stand in any lines at all or even have to use that stupid kiosk thingy that gets all backed up cause people find in too hard to figure out. With my label printed at attached, all I gotta do is drop off the package in the package slot or if it's big just take it to the counter and leave it ... no lines! If I have business here in Redding and need to mail, this is the place, otherwise I'll wait till I get back to Red Bluff.

Hey, we got a piece of mail addressed to your new company yesterday, but the address was wrong and Shirley was about to return to sender. She asked me about it and I said, 'that's that new company, Eucephalus Environmental.' So I wrote the right address on it. You get it?" Sure enough, I get home and check the envelope, and the original street address is some street that I've never heard of, crossed out, with my actual address printed above. The downtown location has homeless hitting up every person as they approach. The other location has a hour-long line to wait every time I've been there, no matter the hour. Cut them some slack and offer up a smile now and then. I am proud to call this post office my local, and have only positive reviews for all of the employees I have dealt with here over the years.
