Their website boasts wonderful amenities - a beautiful deck, BBQ, pool and hot tub. Those amenities are only available to people staying for free who are friends of the owners. If you are paying for the RV spot and using the stables for the horses, do not expect to use any amenities. Previous owner provided cleaning and bedding for the horses. Current owner does not. Previous owner allowed any paying guest full access to the property. Current owner does not. If you are staying in the RV spot, watch out for cactus as they do not maintain the landscaping. Your vehicle may get scraped by brush. You can share the outdoor sitting area with the property manager - but the furniture is dirty and decrepit. The property manager lives on-site in an RV. They smoke, so if you want to use that outdoor space, you will share their smoke as well. Wifi Internet is available, but it is iffy. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Current owners are charging the same amount as the previous owners minus any hospitality. Their rates for the RV site and stables are probably one of the most expensive in the entire state of Arizona. Basically, you will be paying top dollar for bottom dollar accommodations. Current owners are delusional and very good at playing mind games. Prepare to be gaslighted on a daily basis. One day they will offer an amenity and the next day they will take it away. If you are a masochist and enjoy paying a huge amount of money to be abused, this is the place to stay. We have traveled all around the country with our horses. This is the ONLY place we have stayed where we had to fight with the owners to get our money back (He demanded payment in full upon our arrival) and the only place we have stayed where we have been harassed because we wanted to use what we were paying for.

The thermostats were locked & she came & unlocked them but blamed us for this later! She really took the lead at rehearsal and made great suggestions for things we should do or try. Our wedding started 15mins later than expected but she was accommodating and helped keep my wife calm in a time of need. The view is to die for and the venue is breathtaking. It is a hidden gem at the moment but will be sold out every weekend soon. We couldn't have asked for anything more and were blown away with how everything was set up. Multiple beautiful backdrops available for the big day. We chose the grand fountain but soooo many other great options. Even the little things. Everyone warned us how hard it is to eat on your wedding day but as soon as we left the ceremony area to the backstage, there was a waiter for my wife and I along with the bridal party with appetizers and drink orders. Jennifer the day of works as your wedding coordinator and she does a fantastic job! Everything was so well run and on time as well. If you haven't been there, then you definitely need to pay it a visit. However, for a wedding venue, it was a bit odd. Maybe this was the fault of the coordinator? First the good things! The customer service really was great! The staff managing the bar area were super friendly and great to talk to at every visit! The food served was delicious, no complaints at all! The decor and aesthetics were wonderful for the venue and the Arizona area. The area in the main part of the venue, were the ceremony took place was lovely and shaded. There was a fountain and surrounded by lovely trees and structures. As with all venues, hosting a wedding with a cash or cash-less bar, this venue fell into the same issue. The alcohol not in bottles or cans just had to be watered down. There is no possible way our friends and myself had as many vodka mixed drinks, we are talking about over 10 or 11 at least for myself, and never even got a buzz. This seemed to be the consensus. The other issue was just the layout. The covered area / enclosed structure where the dinner took place was large and spacious. It was decorated with plants and man made areas that were lovely and it kept everyone together, socializing, and simply having fun. When that was done we were moved to an area behind the bar/sitting structure for live DJ and dance floor. This was simply counter productive to encouraging that togetherness and partying. instead it had various separate and distinct fire pits with covered areas and seating around each one. This pretty much cause the wedding party to all separate into their own clicks and neither one really interacting unless you were directly related/known to them some how. The dance floor was a raised gazebo area, which was lovely. However, from where some of the fire pits were, you had no view of who was dancing or if anyone was dancing. We stayed here when in town as part of a timeshare experience. The resort is laid out in a long…read moreline along the road on one side and golf course on the other. The rooms are only one bedroom so it isn't ideal for bigger groups, but was perfect for a couple. They don't have parking spots near all the buildings so instead you park your car and they have golf carts to take you back and forth. It is an effective solution but a little time consuming especially if you have groceries or larger items to bring to your room each time. It also got a bit hard to navigate timing so we often would just walk to our room (heat or night not withstanding). I would say if you are hardy and able it works, but not great for those who have mobility issues. The rooms are bright and airy and clean. The staff has been friendly and helpful. We are used to other spots with a full kitchen and updated cabinets etc within the room, so this was a bit challenging (laundry is again down a walkway and not close to our room and no oven or hot plate in the room for any cooking). But if you are in town for a quick visit and will be eating out or golfing mostly then it is a nice spot. The grounds are well maintained and pleasant and it is a lovely spot for watching the golf course. We would most likely stay at another resort if back in town due to the lack of amenities in the room, but it was a pleasant stay and for a hotel like room with more space it was very pleasant.
