I have hosted our high school annual banquet at Legacy for two years in a row, and both times it has totally exceeded my expectations, turning out beautiful, organized and perfect in every way. This venue is gorgeous! It has beautiful courtyards that would be perfect for cocktail hours and intimate ceremonies. So many places to take pictures and/ or to set up high tops or fun outdoor sitting areas. I couldn't believe how beautiful the ballroom was! I can't stress how much my wife and I LOVED working with Lyndsay at Legacy! Our wedding was on December 9 and we just did a private ceremony on our own, but had the reception for 152 guests at Legacy. We first booked the venue about 15 months out from our wedding and Lyndsay was great the whole way. My wife and I didn't have any life long dreams of what our wedding would look like, and it's hard for us to make decisions - Lyndsay helped cater to our personalities perfectly. She gave great suggestions once we found some great inspiration pics and we ran with it. She had great vendor suggestions that fit to our budget. Lyndsay really gave us her full attention throughout this time too - if you mention something in passing or have a small idea that you didn't even really flesh out a vision for... she'll hear it and come back with a handful of options or vendors to go with to achieve your dream wedding. The Legacy Ballroom is also a great choice for the simple fact that you can customize so much. We hung paper lanterns from the ceiling (no resort we toured said we could hang stuff). We picked an outside caterer and they worked perfectly with the venue. The ballroom photographs so well too, we absolutely loved the final look. The front courtyard area was perfect for cocktail hour. The back courtyard area was a great space for the photo booth. You can bring your own alcohol for the bar... great $$$ saver. You'll even be pleased with the bathrooms here too.. nicer than the Ritz-Carlton. We would highly recommend looking into The Legacy Ballroom for any event you're hosting. I had my Mehndi at Legacy Ballroom on May 5, 2023 and I am so beyond happy with my choice! The venue itself was beautiful, classy, and large enough to accommodate our entire party without issue. The Venue Director, Lyndsay, was incredibly helpful and quick to respond, and guided me throughout the entire planning process without making me feel like a burden. The Event Coordinator, Happy, had a great eye for decor and helped me add even more decorations and centerpieces than I had planned (without additional cost) and made our event look that much better! I didn't end up going with this venue due to the fact that I'm having a huge Nigerian wedding and the space wouldn't allow for it, but I would have chosen it in a heartbeat if I could. We held a wedding reception for our son and daughter-in-law at Legacy Ballroom in November 2021. Lyndsay was wonderful to work with. She made our whole experience from start to finish smooth and easy. She was very accommodating and a great communicator. The facility is beautiful; we utilized the huge front paved travertine patio for cocktail hour and a place for the guests to gather during the night for some of our great Arizona weather, and the back turf patio for some lawn games. The ballroom accommodated all of the dinner tables and huge dance floor. This venue allows as much DIY as you want, or they will handle part or all of it all for you. They have a lot of decorations and tableware to use or you can bring your own. We brought in food trucks and bought our own alcohol. Lyndsay had so many great ideas for decorating, food, and entertainment and shared many resources for vendors. The night-of coordinators, Jennifer and Martha, worked tirelessly to make sure our event was a great success, with smiles on their faces the whole night. The wait staff and bartenders were exceptional. We had many guests comment on what a beautiful venue we chose. (They also have a beautiful spot outside for a ceremony, but the bride and groom were married in Colorado earlier in the year.) We would highly recommend Legacy for your event! read more

We held corporate education at Legacy Ballroom on February 23rd. Lyndsay from Legacy Ballroom is a great communicator and was extremely accommodating through the entire planning process. Lyndsay, Sammer and Tisha made sure everything was set up perfectly to accommodate the classroom environment that we needed. All chairs were socially distanced and beautifully covered in lavish fabric. There wasn't anything more we could have asked for. The venue is gorgeous on its own but setup for our needs far exceeded my expectations. They didn't let a minute pass without responding to our requests, although we didn't need much because our needs were so well thought out in advance. We had to find a larger venue for our end of season cheer banquet and Legacy Ballroom was there to fill every one of our needs. The "standard" decor was anything but standard. It was so beautiful, lighted backdrop, nice tablecloths, center pieces were perfect. Lyndsay and her staff made it so I didn't have to worry about anything. Her staff was so accommodating on the day of our event and helped calm my nerves. I'm so happy we found this venue. We had about 150 attendees, and we all sat comfortably in rounds of 8 and 10. My daughter had her graduation party last night. This is the most underrated hidden gems in town. The ballroom is so immaculate, the way Lindsay and the staff decorated it. They paid attention to every detail, made sure everything was perfect from napkins to lightbulbs. I've been to many hotel ballrooms, and our guests compared this to a five star hotel. She did everything to our liking, and her ideas were beyond amazing. She was really enthusiastic about bringing a perfect venue to us. The ambience was well set, and everything and the decor was complementary to our liking. I don't have enough words to express our gratitude for her communication skills. Even up to the last minute of the party, she communicated with us to ensure that everything goes to our liking, and if we missed anything.. Ofcourse, the staff who catered to our guests were beyond exceptional. Their professionalism and courteous personalities cannot go unnoticed. I have never felt this comfortable in a venue. I am an event planner and finding the perfect venue is so challenging, but The Legacy Ballroom is just what the Valley has needed for years! The space is filled with natural light and is elegantly designed inside and out. I love the travertine courtyards with the great views of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. Legacy Ballroom is a great venue! When looking for a space to hold a High School Prom they accommodated us is a very short window of time and handled it professionally and elegantly. Lindsay was our point of contact and she was top notch. She answered all our questions quickly and that kept our planning on track. From beginning to end they took care of our every need. Netta was our coordinator the day of the Prom. With her help we just walked into a beautifully decorated ballroom and she took care of everything from lights to sound. Sam, the Security Supervisor was available at all times to answer any questions we had. If you are planning an event and want great service, host your event at Legacy Ballroom. We used the Legacy as our wedding venue - the management was terrible. On our rehearsal night we weren't able to use the ballroom because they booked another event. We booked the Legacy Ballroom 10 months in advance of our wedding. When we made our deposit we were promised the use of the ballroom for our rehearsal. On our wedding day they sent the drapery out for cleaning and they got damaged (that's what we were told...when we showed up and they was no drapery). The management and staff went up and beyond into making my daughter's birthday a night she will never forget. We got married at the Legacy in November and we have nothing but great things to say about the staff and the place. First the ballroom is beautiful, has a clean spacious kitchen for the caterers, and enough parking space for our guests. We worked with their recommended Decor company and they did an excellent job. The venue itself is amazing! The outdoor areas are so nice and kept up, and the Ballroom is beautiful! We got SO many compliments on it! I am very happy we chose it.. however.. just a warning from bride to bride, or whoever is wanting to rent out this wonderful place-- if you don't have amazing friends and family that will help you literally set EVERYTHING up, don't bother! You only get 3 hours before your ceremony & we had no help whatsoever from our "coordinator" We couldn't have done it without friends and family. ALSO- one thing that majorly bugged me was while our family was setting up they were having meetings with clients and sitting at our tables that had all our belongings on them! They had just got set up! It was as close as 1 1/2 hour before the ceremony even! I totally get they're a business but I thought it was super tacky, at least go in the office and have meetings, my dad paid well over enough for us to have the privacy. read more

Our High School booked this venue in advance for our prom coming up in two days. All was reserved and paid for. Just yesterday we found out that they had doubled booked for the same day. One of our team members found this out as she was dropping off items for the event SERIOUSLY!!!! When where they planning on calling us? the day of the event? Luckily we were able to book elsewhere, there really was no need for our prom committee to stress as they did 2 DAYS BEFORE the event, if only the venue's management were more professional and carefull when booking. It may be a nice venue, but I wouldn't risk booking with them if I were you. read more

I was married at The Legacy Ballroom on Nov 2, 2013 and we had a wonderful experience. The ballroom was gorgeous, the bridal suite was comfortable and the courtyard was impeccable. I worked with both the catering company and the management at The Legacy Ballroom and everything went off without any major issues. I can tell TLB prides itself in looking like a first class venue - the silk curtains are gorgeous, the lighting is beautiful, and the venue is very clean and looks brand new. I chose TLB because I wanted a gorgeous place without being at a resort. The setting outside is beautiful, with the mountains in the background. I would recommend going to an open house and seeing the space for yourself. One other thing that made me choose TLB is I was able to get married in the courtyard, have cocktail hour at the outdoor patio, and keep the party going right inside. We didn't have to move our guests from a different location, parking was easily accessible and the overall location of the ballroom is centrally located. TLB is a great venue to have a wedding or another function. I was truly happy with how the evening went without any regrets and it seemed like my guests had a fabulous time as well! read more
