We rented this venue for a birthday party, and while the physical space is very pretty, I absolutely would not recommend it. The venue manager, Lorena, is completely unprofessional, and the communication throughout the entire process was a nightmare. If you are considering booking this space, please be aware of the multiple red flags we experienced: Right from the start, Lorena canceled our first viewing appointment. Once we rescheduled and booked, communication via text became incredibly difficult. She would take days to respond, routinely failed to fully read messages, and would either ignore direct questions or respond with completely irrelevant answers. Getting a clear answer on when we could meet to pay our remaining balance was an exhausting process of constant follow-ups. During our initial visit, we were explicitly told multiple times that we could have a taquero set up inside the venue. However, when we arrived a month before the event to pay our final balance, Lorena abruptly changed her story, stating it wasn't allowed due to code issues. While code compliance is understandable, she should have contacted us to let us know about the changes sooner. Fortunately, our caterer was flexible enough to switch to a buffet style. We were told the venue would be open starting at 9:00 AM on the day of our event. When we arrived at 1:00 PM to set up, the building was locked. It took staff 30 minutes to arrive and open up, leaving us and our vendors waiting outside, which threw off our entire schedule. During setup, venue personnel constantly hovered and micromanaged us--complaining about the doors being open while we were actively unloading heavy items and restricting one of the vendors from using the VIP suite we had explicitly been told we could use for storage. Our contract required a $500 refundable deposit, which we paid in cash and were promised would be returned in cash. It ultimately took nearly two weeks of constant hounding to get our money back. When I went to retrieve it the Thursday after the event, Lorena claimed she didn't have the cash and promised the owner (Lupita) would Zelle it to me. After providing my information, Lorena would not respond to my texts for days, or sometimes would not respond at all. Fed up, I managed to track down the owner's number directly. When I spoke to Lupita on Friday, she informed me that she had actually given the deposit money to Lorena the day prior. Lorena had the money since Thursday and had not contacted me, even though she knew I had been asking for it for two weeks. The owner told me I could pick it up that day. When I finally went to pick up the deposit, Lorena was incredibly short with us and didn't even apologize. If I hadn't taken it upon myself to bypass management and contact the owner directly, I would probably still be waiting for my money. What should have been a celebratory experience was ruined by unnecessary stress and unprofessionalism. The venue itself is great for parties, but the venue manager/coordinator was horrible. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. read more

When I tell you the owner of this establishment deserves a huge round of applause for making my daughter's day the most spectacular and memorable one. We rented Raul's establishment for a quince party of 125 people. We did the standard quince package. From the moment I contacted Raul after doing many many other event walk-throughs with other places, his establishment was the most cost efficient, beautiful, clean ones we had seen. Me and my daughter immediately knew this was the one. The owner Raul was very helpful, professional, patient, and on top of everything! From the planning, to payments, to offering additional services to help if need be, to having the event space completely decorated so beautifully and taking the whole thing down after so there was no stress on my end. Every single employee that we interacted with that day; servers, bartender, staff were so so kind and willing and ready to help with anything we needed no questions asked. Raul even came a couple hours before the event to help guide the caterers I had and help me with things to ease the stress of the day. We recently had our wedding with Raul and his team. This truly is a "Hidden" Palace. We had become frustrated during our search for the perfect location. Between non-replies, insanely unreasonable fees, and hidden costs we had almost given up! We found the Hidden Palace and were amazed at this gem. It was the right size (we had about 80 but could do up to 150), Raul was responsive, knowledgable, attentive, and always available, even for a stressed out bride! The entire team from his staff to a couple vendors he recommended were on point, knew their craft, and executed flawlessly. I had my wedding at the hidden palace on 10/16. I was very nervous and had a lot of anxiety prior to the wedding. Raul went above and beyond to help me ease the anxiety.
