If you want your wedding to be absolutely spectacular and not worry about booking every different vendor like Music, Limo, Catering, flowers, ceremony, cake, photographer/videographer...etc This is the perfect venue. This Bethany Home location has someone special who truly loves what she does, she is a designer and she is the event coordinator her name is Rosie. She will listen to your vision and take the time to make it perfect for you. I planned an absolutely beautiful wedding there with her in only one month and Rosie and her amazing sweet team made it possible. Absolutely everyone loved our wedding and the table decorations and color combinations that she put together for our event where strikingly beautiful! We still feel like our wedding was something out of a movie. The catering was delicious all our guests were telling us about how good everything tasted specially the southwest corn! Bravo to the Chef I'm vegan and he made me a special vegan dish just for me. We also had an appetizer table and everyone loved it. The bar tender was also very sweet. We are absolutely grateful that we found La Princesa Reception Centers and specifically the Bethany Home location because we know our wedding wouldn't have been as gorgeous and perfect as the team at this location made it. Thank you Rosie and everyone on your amazing team!

We just got married here at this beautiful venue! Rosie is absolutely amazing and we could have not asked for a better wedding planner! If you want a beautiful wedding please come here! The food, decorations, pictures, flowers and so much more was perfect! I couldn't have been a happier bride

What a disappointment. I scoured approximately 12-15 places to have our banquet. When I called, I told the person what our budget was and that we needed a plated lunch. I was told it was doable. She gave me two options for caterers: one Mexican food, the other "American." I picked the "American." We did the contract, and I found we were at the high end of what I told her our budget is. I thought, "Hmmm. Okay." We picked a time for the caterer to bring in samples of the meals. We picked two: beef tips and chicken cordon bleu. I found out the dessert was extra. Okay. Well, guess we are now over budget. Then I found out we would have to pay extra for glasses. If we wanted cloth napkins versus paper, that was another extra. I told her I felt we were being nickel and dimed. We ended up having them forego water and soda placed in pitchers on the tables and brought our own. We traded their water and soda for goblets and cloth (versus paper) napkins. I'm surprised we didn't have to pay extra for the knives and forks. The day of the event, our speaker had asked for a projector. I was told the hall would provide it. (What? Not an extra fee for that??) Well, it turned out, it wasn't what he needed. Luckily, he had something in his car that he could use. The food was supposed to be served at 1:20. They didn't start serving till 2:00. I was told someone had told them to wait till 1:30. Well, that's 10 minutes, not 40. The salad and its dressing was good. The "vegetable medley" was mainly green beans. The beef tips were rather sparse, in other words, not much on the plate. The rice medley was ho hum. There was a roll with an individual wrapped butter for each plate. Presentation was, well, mediocre at best. PLUS the food was cold! I was at the back of the room and one of the first tables to be served. The food was cold then. By the time it got to the rest of the room, I'm sure it wasn't any warmer. I was told the chicken was good. I didn't taste it after our initial tasting. The "vegan" plate was rather sparse, and I was told one person had taken a vegan that had not ordered it; therefore, that was the reason. Hmmmm. One extra serving. Did the caterer think to provide a little extra? The pastry chef was different than the main course caterer. We ordered her carrot cake. When we did the tasting, I specifically asked that it NOT contain nuts and that the filling between the layers be thicker than the sample. It was not thicker. Guess what??? The cake had nuts!!! Do they know about the liability of an allergic reaction?? To top it off, one of the guests fell, tripping on the raised lip of the area that one walks to get to the bathrooms. She broke her knee cap, shoulder, and needed stitches in her hand. A young man said he had tripped on that lip as well and another person. Who knows how many other people caught their shoes on that lip. When I told the hall, they said it was the first time it happened. Hmmmm. Three people that I know of at one event? I think I'd do something about that flooring. Just a thought. ... I'm sorry to say I got feedback as far as some of the above comments. The "perfumy" scent at the entrance, I thought it was too many candles or whatever. I'm told that it is some sort of cleaning product. Whew!! Whatever it is, it is strong! Would I recommend this place? What do you think?

A con is that the smaller kid activities is way on the other side from the bigger kid activities so if you have kids of different ages, you have one bored and just hanging until the other is done in their section. The food was decent for the most part. The funnel cake bites, turkey leg, and kettle corn were good. The elote corn was eh. The food was decently priced. To get in is $20 each which to me, is a little pricey. There should be kid pricing in my opinion. Parking is ok. They did let a car in front of us hold the line up to wait for a car to leave but when we tried to do it, they made us move. Understandable but rules should be the same for everyone. Most staff was nice. On the way out, they asked about taking a family photo. We declined. My son was on the props I guess (it wasn't labeled and no one was there taking pictures) and one staff was like "this is where we take our pictures just so you know." That was interesting. Maybe post a sign. Not my top pick, but it was a decent time.

Let start off with the "Day of " Actual Event staff (Host , bartender, waiting staff, setup and…read moretake down , cleaning crew, security) are amazing ! Professional , the stafff keep you and your guest happy and keep schedule / time management on track (Guest Entrance , special moment , cake , etc). My husband and I had visited a majority of event halls in west Phoenix Area , all are very pretty , but were missing space, never called back and were stuffed with tables and chairs. NOT Legend they call you back and get you scheduled to meet and view their venue right away , right when you walk in its jaw dropping and placement of sections are well placed and have amazing flow !!!! (Section included bar, guest seating , desert table , dance floor , back room, daycare, two different areas for bathrooms ) . With the Pros there are cons I recommend right from start let them know if you need an English or Spanish planning your party assistance when doing the contract they will lean towards Spanish due to hall surrounding and kind of get a little attitude if you don't speak both or Spanish. Hall Double Books - they double book their venue (two separate venues in building possibly three ) this can cause issues parking areas, guest getting mixed up with halls, but more importantly guest counting (Note: ALL venues guest count) venues are very strict on counting your guest to make sure you only have contract amount if not they'll charge per extra guest and that amount changes. This part is definitely unfair on all venue part cause they count who enters , and not on who actually seating or how many ppl come and go during the event. Office Staff changes frequently so if you're promised something at contract or during the months of planning with them make sure it's in writing on your contract, initialed, and dated (Legend give you a book to help keep track of everything as a team) . If it doesn't say it on the contract and their promise to additional request last page of the contract. The DJ comes with your contract , but he does NOT MC so make sure to get one to announce your court. Givr him dealt schedule for when you want fog, projector , sparkles to come on. He forgot to do our during the father and daughter dance. The chief food is really good , but make sure you do the food tasting and get your menu written down and signed by both you and chief at time of tasting otherwise he'll forget . My cons are only things that I recommend you watch for throughout your planning process not deal breakers. This place is amazing. I would definitely have another event at venue or recommend the hall to others!!!! The hall treated our guest above and beyond ! Our guest loved the place and staff that help make the day so special and fun.

Great indoor space with dining on both sides of a stage/DJ/dance floor area right in the middle. The waitstaff was located at the North end and they were working very hard to make sure guests had drinks, appetizers, and their main dishes. They cleaned up quickly and quietly as guests were finished with their items. Dessert items were neatly displayed on tiered shelves at one end of the room. The tables looked very fancy, and it really felt like an important gala at our friend's company Christmas party. In the rather large outdoor space, there were a few tables so adults could be closer to their kids as they played in two large bounce houses or took photos at a cool inflatable selfie booth. They had really nice soft outdoor lighting with strands of bulbs crisscrossing the space. Conveniently located right next to Grand Ave this event center is wonderful and we're hoping to be back for a party or reception in the near future.
