I also liked how the security guard did his job while still greeting guests and opening the door for them. This venue was everything we dreamed of and more! My husband and I wanted the glam aesthetic while working with a Hispanic company (as we're both Mexican) and this venue was top tier for everything we wanted and needed. Heidi the manager was very attentive and responsive to every text and phone call no matter the time and assured me of every doubt or worry I had. If something wasn't going according to plan, she and her team went above and beyond to help out. Super grateful for her and phoenix event center's service! This venue does not deserve even one star. From the beginning they were very unprofessional. I have proof of that in audio and in writing. Employees have ZERO communication with each other. From the beginning they were stubborn that the event would be a quinceañera when it was indeed a wedding. I had to make all the calls because nobody tried to call us. This was a week before the event. They themselves told me that they did not have much experience with weddings days before the event. The reason they moved us to the larger venue was because of the huge inconvenience they had already caused. It was a means used to remedy all that was they had done wrong. Even so the day of practice they did not know that this had happened. And they put us in the small venue without a/c for the first hour. They had another practice that day (Wednesday) and we agreed to go to the other smaller venue even though our event was that Friday. Now I talked to Heidi at the beginning of the week and that Wednesday at practice about the last payment. She agreed to take that cash payment on Saturday at 9 am the day after the event. That happened because they put me on hold the last check that came from the groom's aunt who is a judge and we have never received any money from her. I have proof of this. And the call to the bank. I have multiple witnesses that this conversation happened both times with Heidi. Two hours before the event heidi called saying that this would not be possible because no event does that. Again the venue contradicting themselves and backing out of their word. That same day of the event she made the comment with a relative that we did not "want to pay because we did not have money." They did not want to accept our credit card to pay but they did accept my now husbands "because he is American". That is sadly racist towards your own race. In the end we gave them the last payment in cash before the time set for the event. Until today we have not received the deposit. Oh, and the man who we gave the last payment to said that they would forgive us for not having given the deposit. Again I have proof that we did. Now they say that we wanted to scare them by saying that my husband is from the Army. To begin with, my husband is not in the Army. He is a MARINE. The reason they had "let" us in 10 minutes before the event is so people would be seated for the ceremony. What they explained to us was that this could be done since we signed the contract with them before they made the new contract that they now use. Now, Heidi has sent us messages saying she's going to "expose" us or "do something" if we don't take down the reviews, weeks after the event. This is my first review that I do towards the venue. If other people had a negative experience that is out of my control. They are good for sending messages but not for returning the deposit. I don't like threats and using the word "defamation" is powerful in court. My advice is the following if in the end up going with this mediocre venue: - have signatures, photos, and screenshots of EVERYTHING since later they will say "we didn't say that" "we don't do that" - make sure you receive a receipt for ALL payments and don't leave until you receive it, even if it's for Zelle etc. They tried to deny us a payment of $1500 -Keep record of your payments. They are not good at it since I have multiple text messages and calls asking for the receipts that I had. - Don't let them rush you when doing the table cloth test etc even if there are other people. It is important. - work with Yessica she was professional from the beginning (it is the only good thing about the venue and the waiting staff) read more

It's a very beautiful hall and I was considering it for my daughters quinceañera. I made an appointment to see the hall and get more information on it but was a little discouraged or what felt to me poorly done (unprofessional) the way some information was present to me. So we sat down to talk about the details and look at in writing so it would be more easy to follow, and as the lady (sorry don't remember the name) started explaining the services and fees right in the middle of conversation she switched the paper for another one that had much higher prices , from there she jus totally lost me. If she was already presenting the services and fees to me I feel like she should've stuck to what she was already informing me about because as a potential new customer that just felt like I was cheated or honestly just done poorly. It just felt unprofessional and for that I no longer was interested in their services. Still gave them the 3 stars because they do have two hall options and they both look really nice. read more

This is the venue in which my sister the bride unfortunately held her wedding. When they first contacted this venue they fell in LOVE with how they described and explained everything in the contract. (I know this because she kept me updated throughout the day). December 21st of 2021 was the day they signed the contract and gave they're first payment. Months went by and my sister had not heard a single word from them, because she expected them to reach out to her. A week and a half prior to the wedding ceremony my sister reached out to the food tasting and SHE had to set up an appointment. They were 1 Rude and 2 the food is pretty mediocre, she also reached out to the photographer, he was quite kind and professional , and the third person SHE had to reach out to was for the cake tasting, she was also lovely and professional, and the last person SHE had to reach out to was the dj. All the appointments were set up the WEEK prior to the ceremony. Since the owner realized how unprofessional they ALL were she offered the bigger salon free of charge. If even after this review you're still inclined to go with this venue I prompt you to be careful with your payments. There was a payment my sister made through Zelle to the venue with the title PHOENIX EVENT CENTERS, she sent it to the gentleman Francisco, in which he replied to the text "Thank You" after receiving the payment. Later on they realized that in their paperwork it said they still owed those specific $2500. They let them know to which they said that they never received the payment. The bride showed her the Zelle transaction and how Francisco had said "Thank You". They told her that all he said was thank you and that wasn't really confirming the payment. By the way that was at the appointment that she had to set up and they still didn't know she had that appointment the day of. The day for the bridesmaids and the groomsmen to practice arrived they had the audacity to have the AC turned off and it wasn't until almost an hour later that they thought to turn it on. This has been the most unpleasant experience I have had and it wasn't even my wedding. You made it hard and a living hell for the wedding couple. I highly recommend you to stay away from this place. It took them months to reach out to us but once my little sister decided to write a 1 star review they reached out to us within two weeks. They threatened us to delete the review or they were gonna put us on "Blast" for not being able to pay. Well Heidi or however it is that it's spelled, I never really figured out due to the lack of communication. If you want to put us on "blast" do it. But just know that we have the receipts and screenshots to disprove whatever last ditch attempt you try to throw at us. read more

‼STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENUE‼ I signed a contract in October 2019 with this whole pandemic COVID-19 I was unable to host my event here . I contacted the owner she was unaware who I was what my event was about might I add they a very un organized never knew when I made a payment , none of the vendors had contacted me . So I asked for the money I had paid for the reception back due to pandemic and she stated she was not going to give me my money back I advised her she could keep my deposit but wanted the rest back she refused and continued to offer me a future date I informed her I was not interested due to not knowing we're covid would go and she was so unprofessionally rude and refused to give me. Anything back . I understand if I would cancel just because but this was a unseen catastrophic event . She did not care and I never seen a dime back .
