Maggie is awesome to work with! She always responds to every email almost instantly. She has tons of information about the local area.

The standalone Casita was STUNNING and we really enjoyed that space. Plus, the grounds were really beautiful. My issues were the pool customer service, food experience, and the inability to walk through the property comfortably. The pool service SUCKED. Our food was missing items that the menu said it included, the drinks were awful and didn't even come with straws, even though everyone else had straws, and there was a very disruptive family in the pool who were loud and splashing water all over the outside of the pool. At one point, they splashed us and the water got all over our food. The staff member was literally talking to us when it happened and didn't do anything about out. When the pool has a very disruptive group, the staff deal with it. The food sucked. We went to the Spotted Donkey for my wife's birthday and the food was disgusting. Soggy tacos, pre packaged rice, a totally disappointing experience and they didn't even acknowledge her birthday even though I included it on the reservation. That was a very disappointing experience. We enjoy walking resort properties and it just wasn't set up for that. You need to request a golf cart to go anywhere and some of the drivers weren't very friendly. We will absolutely not be back.

You can do a right turn and stroll towards their labyrinth. My time was limited so I walked past their waterfall and out their driveway. I made my way back to the post office where the car was parked. They have parking on site.

What a lovely place. Tucked away in Cave Creek, away from the lights & noise of the city. I was…read moresurprised they had wifi for guests but it was a nice surprise. I was honestly expecting no wifi & no TV. I got the no TV part but wifi accessible. I was in something called a suite but it's really a common area with two rooms & two separate entrances. Each entrance to the common area has its own physical key. Then each room has its own private bathroom & shower. There was a nice sized balcony with table & chairs to enjoy the fresh air & quiet. I will also admit to being surprised by twin beds. Other than my cruise, I cannot recall the last time I slept in a twin size bed. The bed was reasonably comfortable I did bring my own pillow because I feel a certain way & have some neck issues but the pillows they had were used to support my back while I sat up & read. The food here is fabulous. Well, what I could eat anyways. Too many food issues to list. The ladies I was here with this weekend were all thrilled with the food. They raved about the roasted veggies, the Spinach lasagna was a huge hit. The other massive win for the ladies was the homemade hot fudge w/ice cream, cookies, & Pecan Pie. The Pecan Pie seemed like it was truly a transformative experience for so many who did not like Pecan Pie before eating it here. Not too sweet & had chocolate chips in it. The cookies were the other really big hit. Crispy outside& soft, warm, chewy inside. Lovely spaces for retreats. I could absolutely see coming back here. P
