This past weekend, I attended an event at the Chateau Luxe Event Venue for the first time, and I was certainly impressed by the venue as well as how the venue helped make the event itself so memorable. The Chateau Luxe is an award-winning venue in North Phoenix often used for weddings and other special events. The event I attended was an annual fundraiser for an organization important to me, and it provided the organization with the opportunity to increase the number of attendees from just over 300 people to nearly 500 people. From the moment my wife and I arrived and used the valet, we were impressed how smooth of a process it was to leave our car and later pick it up. We were prepared for a very long wait at the valet like it had been at events where we really had no choice but to use valet, though we were even more impressed when no one had to wait for very long as there were so many people working and cars were arriving as quickly as the valet cards were given. This small touch made a huge difference. When we walked into the venue itself, there were tables set up along a large entrance area allowing us to check in before walking into a very large open area, where a bar was set up right in the middle with high tables, seating, or just open areas to stand and talk and catch up with new and old friends and colleagues alike. From that area, we moved into a large ballroom with a stage after our cocktail hour ended. The ballroom was set up with more than fifty tables, and the dinner was a plated meal. Compared to other venues we have used, it certainly felt more spacious and not crowded at all. My review is based on working at the Fred Astaire Trophy Ball event w/ a photographer friend. I've never been to this venue - it is very "luxe" w/ velvet cushioned couches in the lobby, terrazzo floors in the bathroom & stunning chandeliers. Lots of curlicues & "CL" branding on rugs, cushions, entryways. The aesthetics are beautiful & this would be a lovely venue for any special event. Now on to the Brunch served which we were lucky to be invited to partake in by the Fred Astaire group. The food served at the buffet brunch exceeded my expectations. Truly! First off, the pastries were an unusual variety. A Carmelized Potato Bacon Danish?! Ingenious. Hands down my favorite was the Cinnamon Roll Scone. How I would love the recipe for this one! This scone tastes like it has cinnamon pie crust in it so kind of textured and then such an intense cinnamon flavor, with a subtle swirl on top. I could have eaten a dozen of these! On the buffet line, I loaded my plate with: * Eggs Benedict * Pork Tenderloin * Asparagus *Cinnamon Roll Scone * Earl Gray Chocolate Mini Bobka Sad to day, I missed out on the Belgian Waffle station, b/c I had no room in my belly. But! they served NUTELLA with them! Superb selection. My co-worker chowed down on the waffles and said they were magically delicious. Here's the thing: on any buffet line, food can dry out or become stale. But this was a very active line, lots of people eating and lots of staff switching out the empty or nearly empty buffet dishes. Staff was super nice & when I raved about those Cinnamon Roll Scones, one server said she'd inform the pastry chef, who'd love to hear that. Yay - good vibes all around! read more

I got to attend the Taste of the NFL event here during Super Bowl week. Chateau Luxe is a special event and conference venue in Phoenix that hosts weddings and other social events. The building itself was really nice with spacious indoor and outdoor areas. They also have an in-house culinary team. Chateau Luxe is located in an industrial area in north Phoenix. I had to wait in a long line of cars to park which kinda sucked. Parking was on the side of the road. The Taste of the NFL event itself was enjoyable and there was plenty of room to move around. They had food and drink sampling booths everywhere plus a main stage. Overall I thought Chateau Luxe did a nice job hosting the event and Taste of the NFL / GENYOUth were able to raise a lot of money to help end student hunger. read more

The venue is beautiful but the service is horrendous and the portions of food are very small and embarrassing, and NOTHING like you see at the Tasting. There was a bite or two of mashed potatoes, and some guests said they didn't even get mashed potatoes on their plate. There were literally 2 pieces of carrots the size of crayons, and one, yes just one, Brussel sprout cut in half. The family Reserved table, and I'm sure other tables, did not get the bread basket. We asked for some and our server said she'd bring some, and she never came back. I later found out from my friend and guest at the wedding, that the they were tipping servers $20 to bring them extra food, and they had plenty to eat. While all other guests did not have enough to eat. Their appetizers ran out before half the guests arrived and they never brought more out. They promised 4 pieces of their measly appetizers per guest and their wasn't even two pieces, mind you these were bite size pieces. Very embarrassing and unacceptable. We were promised the patio would be open with cocktail tables set out for guests to enjoy. It never happened! Curtains were closed, patio was dark, and promises broken. Our vegetarian guests were treated horribly as well and were served a couple pieces of cauliflower for dinner. Has anyone ever heard of such cheapness and embarrassing thing to serve your guests? While charging $170/person??? The bridal party head table was never served cake. I wad told by my friend and guest at wedding, who was sitting by the table where the cake was, that the servers brought a trash can and threw all the cake pieces in the trash. I was so upset and angry to hear this. This was our cake and we paid for it. How dare them throw it away and not offer guests to take it? They should have wrapped each extra piece and set it out for guests to take. The servers were horrible, rude, crooked, and accepting tips from a few guests, while mistreating others. This venue is very expensive but the disappointments are endless and I would NOT recommend this to my worst enemy. They ruined my son's wedding and we had 450 guests, and heard endless complaints from many of them. Shame on the owners for providing such horrible service and not following through as promised at the Tasting. It's shameful and down right horrible that they charged over $80,000 and provided such horrible, insufficient food and service! I called 4 times to let them know our experience, and each time I was told the "CEO" would call me back, and he never did. What an unprofessional and horrible way to treat guests who just had their wedding at your dishonest, money-hungry, lying, cheating business. There are many other complaints we've heard but these are the most embarrassing and every one is a fact without any exaggerations. Shame on this business and I hope they fix their dishonest ways and not treat other guests in this horrible, embarrassing way. What a luxurious location to hold an event! On Saturday Feb 11th the Taste of the NFL held their annual fundraiser event here. GENYOUth partnered with the NFL in presenting a culinary event featuring 32 of the top chefs of Phoenix and 32 NFL legends to help raise funds for ending student hunger. Tucked away in an industrial area, I easily found my way here with the assistance of Google maps. Parking was easy and the event was well organized from what I experienced. The lavish foyer, high ceilings, grand halls and two beautiful ballrooms were all ritzy. The back patios were crowded from the number of attendees outside but the main ballrooms were easy to maneuver through most of the time. At nightfall the evening sun provided a wonderful atmosphere at the grand entrance to take photos. I can see not just weddings and fundraisers held here but conferences, trade shows and events that desire a posh atmosphere. read more

I recently visited this venue for an NFL event and I was blown away by how elegant it is inside. Driving up we were confused as the directions looked like it was taking us to an industrial area. We kept going and there it was, located a the end of the road. The inside is big and has different room areas. The chandeliers that are located throughout the inside, are massive and elegant. The outside is very nice and the views are beautiful. Only one bathroom area though for this entire building. The Taste of the NFL event last night was great and I had a blast! I got to see my favorite chef Andrew Zimmer and other great American chefs and of course the NFL stars. What a great event venue with plenty of parking space and easy to get in and out. Located in the business district area. Perfect for any occasions like corporate events and weddings. Beautiful outdoor space for any kind of events and wedding ceremonial space. The food was delicious and the drinks was great, what a great event! I liked that each restaurant vendor had couple youth volunteers to serve the food, thank you volunteers! I had my wedding here in September of '21. I can't say enough good things about how we were treated and how everything was taken care of for me. Chateau Luxe is an event space in Scottsdale. I visited Chateau Luxe when attending Taste of the NFL. It is a little difficult to determine what was handled by Taste of the NFL and what was handled by Chateau Lux. I will try and keep this review to the items that are Chateau Lux. Event space itself has a luxurious atmosphere. Dressed up or dressed down, the space could accommodate a multitude of events. Champagne colored walls in the main ballroom are neutral enough to match many decor styles without being stark white. The color in the entryway is richer. Such a large foyer. This area alone is large enough to host smaller affairs. Different size rooms are available from there. At the back of the space is a large patio. This setup would lend itself nicely to a formal wedding reception. Cocktail hour in the foyer, with a seated reception in the main ballroom. A setup of cocktail hour on the patio and then formal dining would also be lovely. Patio has mountain views. The way the patio is situated gives a very private feel. Taste of the NFL was primarily a standing room only event. Very limited seating. I'm not sure if that was at Taste of the NFL's request, or if the decision was due to the sheer number of people. Limited tall/standing tables were peppered about. Taste of the NFL was a large event. It was a large event with a lot of food. Each taste was served on a separate plate or bowl. That meant a lot of trash was generated. Staff did a remarkable job keeping the event space clean. Trash cans were never overflowing. Enough trash cans were scattered about to be easily accessible. I only once saw someone taking care of the cans. Staff was very discreet when emptying trash. Looking through my pictures, I realize the majority of them are of the food I ate. Driving to Chateau Luxe, you find yourself navigating a winding road that cuts through undeveloped land. It feels remote. Like, you're at the edge of town, and suddenly some sort of lavish oasis appears. You arrive and the red carpet is already rolled out. You are ready to celebrate. Some of the seats in the lobby appear too ornate for use. A svelte, black piano dares you to test its keys. The attention is clustered around an open bar in the back of the room, where you join your friends. Two members of your inner circle from college are getting married, and you're grateful that so many colleagues you know have arrived to celebrate. Everything about them was always so perfect, so put together, and it's only fitting to finalize their union in the most opulent venue you've seen in quite some time. Someone begins aggressively striking a triangle, signaling a retreat to the dining hall. Here's what's for dinner: Appetizer: A rich wedge salad that doesn't skimp on the blue cheese. It's almost good enough to make you stop hating the blandness of iceberg lettuce. A basket of dinner rolls that, to your pleasant surprise, are warm and garlicky. Entree: Chimichurri steak, medium. Asparagus. Mashed potatoes. Grilled cauliflower for the vegetarians. You're not much of a red meat person and never have been, but it's prepared well enough to oblige. Nothing about the selection is particularly creative; it's the same staples served at every banquet at every big conference at every hotel at every business meeting. But it's done substantially better here. Splendid. Dessert: The cake, of course. A whirlwind of vanilla and honey and oranges. Exciting in concept, but to your dismay much heavier in sugar than you anticipated. But it is the symbolism that matters. Some people have wine and bread to consume their way into piousness--why not have another bite as a token of celebration? Between the main course and the cake and the first dance, you found ample time to sneak around the corner and vape with old friends. Someone is fiddling with the piano, and you are surprised by how every note fills the lobby. The acoustics are so cavernous that like the tune, all your secrets bounce around from the ceiling to the ears of jaded doormen. They've opened this door for you so many times, you take it for granted and forget they exist. But if sound carries as well as one speculates, they may have heard enough rumors to not forget you. The rest of the evening is filled with dancing. And happy crying. And photos and trips to the open bar. And gossip and dreams and ribbing about who caught the bouquet. This was unforgettable. You hope for any excuse to come back. Your party begins to egress for the night, and you catch the petite attendant turning his neck like an owl, exchanging a suspicious glance as you open the door yourself for the first time. Mothers Day Brunch. What a rip off! Total chaos and lack of organization to park get in and be seated. Food areas were not appetizing as there was no artistry involved. ( except for desserts). Prime Rib was passable but half cooked cold carrots and all but raw green beans were not acceptable. The pork was dry, tough , and tasteless. There were No mashed potatoes. All bread products were stale. Fruit was ok. Shell fish was good. For those carnivores amongst us there was little to eat and enjoy and for $100. oh we paid extra for drinks for which we had to walk 1/4 mile and stand in line. Food and drinks spectacular. The service was friendly, and the wait staff super attentive - clearing dishes immediately to keep tables looking beautiful and clean. Attended a friends event here. Wow so much for luxury. Gaudy tacky and this brunette man with light colored eyes totally inserted himself in everything. He wasn't part of the family but totally made himself the center of attention. Everything anyone was doing had to be about him... he was probably mid 40's to late 50's but with a box dye job. I can't recall his name his name even though he did say it about a hundred times it was either Ben or Jeff I'm almost positive it was Ben. I'm cringing even right now how he would talk about how amazing his sense of taste and style is.. by far the cringiest thing I've ever experienced. Again the place was tacky and had a very weird smell. Bathrooms were dirty, landscaping was littered, windows were riddled with smudges, idk i just won't book here. This is a fantastic venue! It was built for the daughter of a family from India. They could not find a suitable venue for her wedding, so the father had this amazing facility built. It is elegant, luxurious and showcases prestige. The culinary team here is fantastic! This facility can house a lot of people. Look at the online pictures as the outside venue is fantastic as well. It is the RED CARPET treatment from the foyer to each location in the building. Having had the pleasure of cooking in this kitchen, may I say that it is state of the art... TRICKED INTO SIGNING. UNKNOWLEDGEABLE OF THEIR CONTRACT. LIED TO. We liked Chateau Lux for our wedding because they said they could do what we were struggling to find with other venues; music outdoors past 10pm. We picked them solely for this reason. I was very open with the salesperson about the struggles we've been having with finding a venue that fits this requirement. We were very transparent in our initial tour that we will have a 10+ member Mexican band play. We were told by Chateau Lux that it would not be an issue because of their location, but that we'd need to reduce the speakers at 10pm. (They did not say by how much). I emphasized that the instruments are loud even without amplification or playing softer. With these types of bands, we cannot simply just ask half the band to stop playing either. We were reassured again that it would not be a problem. They understood what type of band it was. We were sent the contract and we studied it. It says noise ordinance starts at 10pm, which we agreed to. We signed and paid the deposit. Months later, we visited Chateau Lux with our wedding planner. We were shocked when we were told our band would be too loud once the noise ordinance starts. For the first time, we hear about a decibel level requirement. NO WHERE in the contract does it mention how low the music needs to be reduced to. 65 decibels is impossible for this type of band to play within. 65 decibels as quiet as background music. At this point we felt deceived and expressed our frustrations. The rep told us that the CEO, Ben O., would get in touch with us. Days later, we still heard nothing. We finally got a video call set up with him. Their solution was to pay for an off duty officer to be at our event to help manage the level and handle noise complaints. I do not want to feel stressed about getting the police called to shut down my wedding. We decided to cancel our contract. Because we were lied to, I wanted to get my deposit or partial deposit back. They admitted no fault and blamed it on us for "not understanding" the contract. We quoted their own contract to the CEO, stating there is nothing regarding decibel levels. Ben is not aware that this information is missing from the contract. His response felt like he didn't even listen to our complaint, or even go back to look at his own contact. On top of everything, he didn't even know my name and would refer to me as a completely different name. My name is Nidia, not Shannon. I can only imagine the lack of service for their couples. We feel like this was a money grab. I am very disappointed in how we were tricked to sign, then get blamed for "not understanding", after I had been promised there would be no issue. They are not even aware that their contract is not specific enough. It is unfair that we lost so much money for their own failure to understand their contract. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. We just attended the morning seating of Mother's Day Brunch and I have had better food at Dunkin Donuts. There was nothing positive to say about this place. From the moment you pull up the hill there is a golf cart with teenagers just pointing on a direction to park. There are road cones blocking certain areas and no signage anywhere. We found parking and walked towards the entrance where our senses were bombarded with an over powering hotel lobby style scent and music that was way too loud. Upon entering you are not greeted with a warm welcome but instead there is a line and "next" is yelled out. They take you to your table that is in the most chaotic room you will most likely ever be in. The tables are too close together but luckily we did not have to share a table as some other families did. The food... If that's what you want to call it was so bad I would have to say inedible. The staff is rude and act like they are doing you a favor by being there. I wouldn't be surprised if food poisoning was in our future. Everything was dirty, coffee and cocktails were AWFUL. All around this place is criminal for charging what they do. They over promise and under deliver. We will NEVER be back and will be sure to tell everyone the horrendous experience we've had there. Be careful with Chateau Lux while planning on booking an event!! My Fiance and I had our wedding reception planned here in the garden area for late next march, until we found out that we were lied to and deceived. We went on a tour of this place and loved it, so we signed the contract well over a year in advance. One of the reasons we loved this place was the fact that we were told we could have a large 15 piece band with no issues... or so we thought. With 15 acoustic instruments it is naturally going to be really loud even without speakers. We were told that we would be fine without any amplified speakers past 10 PM, and we had nothing to worry about with our live band. We made this very clear in all negotiations and visits that the live band throughout the night is a non-negotiable. But when we went on our last visit of CL we were given the bad news that we would have to basically kill the music at 10 PM and not just turn off the speakers in order to meet their decibel requirement. In the contract it stated exactly this: "Outdoor spaces are subject to a 10:00pm noise ordinance restriction." And "the decibel level needs to be turned down" at their specified time, but it never actually specifies what level the music needs to be at anywhere in the contract at all. It was only brought up after we signed and did a walk through with our wedding planner. All they said in response was, "you signed the contract and it is normal Maricopa county ordinances." It should have been a professional courtesy to let us know about these rules before we signed the contract. We put too much trust into them thinking that they would have our best interests in mind after we explicitly told them about our music requirements. When in reality it was just a money grab and they don't actually care about their customers and everyone's personalized needs/wants. We didn't know what we were getting ourselves into with them. But definitely a lesson learned! We ended up having a zoom call with the CEO but he didn't even care to learn either of our names properly even though we signed the bottom of every email and had multiple conversations where we discussed these issues. We quoted the actual contract back to them but the responses both in person and in email were very dodgy and just danced around the answer but would never specifically answer the issues at hand. They obviously didn't even care even to read our emails or address our concerns, but instead they just brushed it off by saying everything is stated in their contract, when in reality the contract lacks specificity and never actually states what they mention that the contact states. Their solution was to pay for an off duty officer to be the mediator in case there was a noise complaint. Now they are holding our deposit, while this is stated in their contract, we feel as if they should waive that rule as they have more than enough time (1 year) and it would be the correct thing to do as a business after they failed to inform us of their "rules". We gave them a year's notice and they can easily book that date again. They run a shady business and they don't have good business practices that you would hope to see in an upscale venue. read more

This is by far my favorite venue in Arizona! If your going to have any type of event, this is the place to do it. The venue is gorgeous, luxury, one of kind and in a great location. The Chateau Luxe owner Deepika Bhalla and her staff did an amazing job helping me with my event! My Disney Aladdin Magic Carpet and Movie Screening was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make my special event run smoothly. I never had to worry about anything. All of my guests are still speaking about the beautiful venue. I'm not sure what happened with this venue as when it first opened it was amazing. I am still in shock at how we were treated. My clients spent $12,000 here and we were basically ignored the day of the event and treated horribly the days after the event. I won't be back anytime soon. read more

Appearance = 6/10. Managing crowds 0.5/10. Food 3/10. I made reservations for 1pm for Mother's Day, arrived to find they booked hundreds of 1pm reservations and we stood in line for an hour before being seated. Once inside we got our plates (buffet style) and the food was mediocre at best. Next year I'll stick to Texas Roadhouse. Prime rib was over done, seafood all tasted like the salmon sitting next to it. I spent 10 minutes walking buffet table to buffet table in search of a plate. I actually spent over half our time there either looking for a plate or standing in lines. My wife who complains about nothing said next year she'll be keen to go to Denny's. Paid for VIP tickets at over $200 and had an experience as if we were at a really formal state fair! Chateau Puke is what you will forever be known as. read more

I saw this place on channel 3 az family news . The chef was showing food for their Mother's Day brunch. It looked good & was touted as the best brunch in Phoenix . Not even close!! The prime Rib was pre sliced & was the only meat served. The so called seafood bar was assorted clams & oysters ,the shrimp was tiny & everything was pre portioned. While it is off the beaten path, it's nestled in the most beautiful location with a back patio facing some beautiful Arizona foothills. We were here for an Equality Arizona awards dinner. I'm a wedding/event planner in Phoenix and I recently did a wedding at this venue in May. I must commend Hannah, Natalie, Jason and their entire catering and security team (S/O to Joe especially) for the wonderful job they did assisting me in putting together my client's dream day. Thank you all so much. There was no task too small or too big for them. Last minute changes, dove releases, giant dance floor decals, samba dancers, and (2) buffets were just some of the many items we managed together. It did not go unnoticed that several staff members happily stayed without being asked from morning until well into the night to ensure everything was perfect. The property is gorgeous and well designed. Their bridal/groom suites are large with walls of mirrors, vanity space, closets, bathrooms, fridges, and coffee. They even provide emergency kits. There's also a pool table for the men. There are multiple ballrooms to accommodate small or large guest sizes, several restrooms, a fantastic piano in the foyer and multiple twinkle-lit outdoor areas for ceremonies, cocktail hours or receptions/dinners. We went here for mother's day and we spent $700 plus tax it was horrendous. The whole place was dirty and a lot of the food was gone and what was there seemed like it had been left out all day. When we arrived we waited in line for an entire hour just to get sat at a table we shared with about 3 other families. The food was not good at all either we recieved completely near raw steaks. A completely terrible and hectic experience. They definetely had overbooked the place and there were so many dirty plates all over the entire place I think a bunch of employees probably quit on the spot because of how ridiculous it all was. I'm the type of person that usually leaves good comments. The food was good, not great but good and that is where the good things stop. We had reservations for 12pm for the Mothers Day Brunch, got there at 11:50 and had to stand in line in the sun and wind outside for almost an hour. It took an hour and nine minutes to get seated (with reservations) The staff was friendly. The food was cold, I did not eat even one warm dish. The prime rib was overcooked and did not have horse radish. There were several long lines for waffles and some other things. They ran out of some of the deserts (brownies) It was noisy and I couldn't hear the speaker or have any idea what the drawing was about. Had to ask for glasses and water and there was no salt and pepper on the table. They were obviously understaffed. I really felt sorry for management because they were bussing tables. And this is what we got for $85 pp. This was our 1st and last time. read more

Went here for Mother's Day Brunch. I blame that whole dysfunctional mess on mismanagement. First, they advertised free valet, then overlapped their reservations. This caused a mess in the parking lot with moms having to walk from a distance. There was no comfortable drop off spot due to the line of people. Their foyer is gigantic and could have easily accommodated the entire line of people who were standing out in the sun, waiting over an hour to get in. The food was a disappointment, with mostly meat. Any food that did seem edible was cold and dry. No cold drinks for mom, and bring your own salt and pepper. The seating was ridiculous. The live music was a huge fail. We could not make out one single word spoken into the microphone. They ran out of plates. We had reservations for 11:30 to 1:30. We landed at our table with our plates over an hour into our reservation. The venue itself has some beautiful decor. read more

My son and I did a fashion show here and it's so beautiful inside. I can't really give much of a review of the staff or anything because it was an event but I was disappointed my mom had slipped and fell on wet floor a sign was up but was on my he side of a table and not very visible and staff were aware of her fall but never did an incident report just offered her ice. She managed to stick the event out but she limped all night and we believe it sprained. I just didn't like it that they did not seem to care, she was not the only one who fell either. read more

I was there for two full days. The facility is BEAUTIFUL and the restrooms are immaculate with constant staff upkeep. However a conference center should show concern for the physical comfort of people who are stuck in their facility for hours while attending an event. This was, in many ways, a very physically uncomfortable place to be. Every conference room was abusively cold and I am talking meat locker freezing. I love me some A/C and for me to be cold is extremely rare. Many people complained repeatedly throughout the day but we were all told they were working on it. People were going outside in the sun on breaks to warm up and bringing in blankets from their cars to huddle under. The chairs are the worst. Hour after hour were pure butt torture. Lines at the ladies room were appalling during breaks partially because there could be a few more but the design of the stall doors made it impossible to know if they were occupied. The doors were very tall, reaching almost to the floor and they closed on their own. We had box lunches which were serviceable. Sadly they don't seem to understand that if you use hot beverage service urns interchangeably for coffee and hot water then the hot water is going to taste like coffee. "But we rinse them!" Geez guys get a clue. So I would never book an event here. I would hesitate attending again unless I dressed in many layers or a parka.| read more

Just came home from the Mother's Day event. So blessed that my son-in-law took us today. Great concept but not well executed. The food was great. We had to wait in line 25 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. We did not receive cutlery when we're finally seated. My fork was taken away with my plate when I stepped away to take my granddaughter to the restroom. Good music. The children's room was less than expected with just a ping pong table and one arcade game. I hope they can get it together next year. read more
