June 4-7 was the 2026 U.S. Women's Open in Los Angeles (…read morehttps://www.yelp.com/biz/the-riviera-country-club-pacific-palisades ). Golf is fun and all, but I'm more interested in what kind of food was served! M Culinary Concepts is one of the catering and event staffing partners for the tournament. There are 7 or so concession stands scattered around the Riviera Country Club. I saw chips, cookies, sandwiches, carbonated drinks, pulled pork sandwiches, and more. Prices are high, which is to be expected. Credit or debit card only. If you are a T-Mobile subscriber, stop by their tent and get a $20 food voucher to save money. At Hole 14, M partnered with Katsuya and brought Rock Shrimp Tempura ($23) and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice ($26). You will also find Toma empanadas (1 for $9, 2 for $16). The private suites had access to more premium offerings, like shrimp cocktail towers and open bars. I believe each sponsor can customize their menu however they like (probably based on how much they are willing to pay). I was a cabana guest and had access to the hospitality area by Hole 18. There were two refrigerators stocked with bottled beverages that you can grab from anytime. The snack basket was also complimentary. Options are similar to the treats at the concession stands outside. Think Annie's graham crackers, Golden Peak sweet tea, Minute Maid, Planters trail mix, Miss Vickie's, Grandma's cookies, and other Frito-Lay or Coca-Cola products. Saturday breakfast consisted of breakfast burritos (choice of cheese or chorizo), overnight oats, and greek yogurt paired with a build your own parfait bar. Burritos were on the smaller side, but you can grab another one. The bar was not fully open, just coffee only. At 12PM they started serving lunch. Pasta was ordinary and there's not much to write about the chicken croissant sandwich. The salmon was tasty at least. For dessert, they had brownies and tarts. The final course was snacks at 3PM. There was a charcuterie board with cheese and crackers. Some sliders for light bites. And more desserts. Well it was a food-filled day to say the least! If I had to pay for admission, I probably would have eaten before arriving at the venue. It's too expensive otherwise.

We had out tasting in early January for our late February wedding (trust me, I thought this was too late, but they assured me it was more than enough time) and the tasting was great- easy to schedule and communicate what we were interested in trying. The food was incredible and we were super excited to have them as our top contender for the wedding dinner! They helped set up our buffet dinner for just under 100 guests, made the table look beautiful, they ensured we had our meal before our guests (thank you!! Otherwise I don't think we would have had a chance to eat tbh), they filled our champagne glasses for toasts, and allowed us to customize every option from day one. On top of these things, the chef made sure to introduce himself and check on us throughout the night, the serving staff saved us appetizers during cocktail hour to ensure we were fed throughout the night and they made sure that we were taken care of first and foremost which just helped us feel that much more special. Our guests could not have raved more about the dinner and appetizers as well- told 'that was the absolute best meal I've ever had at a wedding' multiple times throughout the evening! We couldn't agree more :) We catered our dessert and cake from a local bakery, but they helped cut and serve desserts as well. I cannot tell you how absolutely wonderful the entire team was in making our evening the absolute most special night. Thank you Sharkos, you were all superb and we were so thankful to have you help ensure our big day was so special!

From the moment we reached out to them, their communication was impeccable. They were responsive, attentive, and truly cared about our wedding! Jacalyn was our main contact and was so kind, sweet, understanding, and helpful in all the decision-making! Firstly, let's talk about the food. It was beyond delicious! Our guests are still raving about the food served at our cocktail hour and reception! From the appetizers to the main course, every bite was perfection. The presentation was beautiful! The team did farm-to-table for our family table and everyone was beyond thrilled with the taste and delivery! The team made sure I (the bride) and the groom were fed and the food was warm! We had a high guest count approx. 300 for service and everything went flawlessly thanks to Sharko's! I never expected to have so many compliments about the food for my wedding, but we have, which makes my heart so happy!! What truly sets Sharko's apart is their all-around service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, and professional, and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. The set up and added little touches to each of the food tables went with our decor and made everything look that much more fabulous! Overall, I can't recommend Sharko's enough. If you want a stress-free wedding day with food that will leave your guests talking for years to come, look no further. Thank you to the entire team for making our special day unforgettable. You truly are the best in the business! I added a photo, but I didn't personally get any photos, but another bonus Sharko's did! They even got a video of my entire reception set up before the people got in there and amazing photos of us during the ceremony! All around top-notch! Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

I know they have a huge business, catering events and other things but, one of our favorite things is every now and then they will announce that they will make take and reheat dinners and oh my goodness this has been an amazing experience for us. If you watch their website at https://sierrabonitacateringcompany.com/ make sure to watch the take and reheat menu drop down and get yourself on their email list. We used the valet parking as the signage was a bit unclear, so it seemed the easier solution than going up and down stairs to find Geordie's. The entrance had the open feeling of a grand house, with the wrought iron staircase and the beautiful ceiling, terracotta tiles and wood furnishings. There was a wedding party in the large restaurant area that we passed on the way to our table in a separate area. The table was set with care and the rose petals were such a thoughtful touch! As a European I was pleasantly surprised by a small velvet covered stool, placed by my side, for my purse: these touches made the evening even more memorable. No rushing to seat more people or a check arriving while still deciding if something else was going to be ordered. I do enjoy a real meal in a real restaurant, with table linens, linen napkins, the proper glasses, the good silverware. Nick was taking care of our table and was very attentive to anything we may have needed. The cocktails we had were the " Ready, Fire, Aim" with rye whiskey, Drambuie, St Remy and bitters, and the "Dr Vincent's Penicillin" with scotch, lemon, honey, ginger and Laphroaig spritz: both were delicious. For the meal I had the Risotto made with Carnaroli rice, oyster mushrooms, truffle and asparagus; for me the risotto was just a bit over but it was creamy and all of it eaten! The Scallop Ceviche was fabulous, thinly sliced served with auicos, sliced jalapeño, leche de tigre : my chile allergy wouldn't let me taste this dish, but my partner ate it all so definitely good :) The main course consisted of the prime Filet for me, cooked perfectly!! to my medium-rare with emphasis on rare, served on pommes purée and enjoyed to the last bite; the other order was for the dry smoked Branzino (sea bass) with olive tapenade, artichoke and tomato: the fish was so moist and tasty, the skin crispy, and was presented beautifully. For dessert we shared the "Milk and Honey" which is a twist on panna cotta with brown buttercream and honeycomb. With dessert I had my usual after dinner espresso with a shot Sambuca to go with it. Thank you Nick for taking such good care of us. A perfect meal and ambiance for a special night
