Tried out Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade and left with mixed feelings. We ordered the Blue Hawaii Bowl (without granola) & the Rainbow Poke Bowl. On the Blue Hawaii Bowl (without granola) the fresh fruit on top was good, but the base itself was a letdown. It had a bitter taste rather than being sweet, and overall it wasn't anything special or memorable. Also, keep in mind that the bowls don't come automatically with toppings; you have to pay extra for them, and they didn't have many options to choose from anyway. The texture of the base was fine, but the flavor missed the mark. Their smoothies actually looked a bit better, so if I ever went back, I'd probably try a smoothie instead, though I wouldn't go out of my way to return. My friend ordered the Rainbow Poke Bowl. He claimed it tasted fresh, wasn't dry, and had a lot of good flavors. It had a bit of a Hawaii vibe to the flavoring that reminded him of the islands, and while it was better than other mainland poke options, it still didn't quite compare to the real thing in Hawaii. The staff were very nice, and the interior of the shop is very decorative and cute. However, the location is in a rougher area with bad parking. Because the shop leaves its doors open, the strong smell from the street and the presence of homeless individuals hanging right outside drift directly into the shop. Not a destination spot for me, but the smoothies and staff might be worth a look if you're already in the area.

Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade is always the perfect choice when you want something refreshing. My go-to lemonade is their Lava Flow! Reminds me of Hawaii. Don't forget to download their app to earn points towards free drinks and food!

Loved the ambiance. It truly reminds me of Hawaii. Ordered the Cali poke bowl and it tasted good but not wow. The lemonades and açaí bowls are delicious though!

If you like tart lemonade then this is your place. We spent about $30 trying a variety of their lemonades....here's just a few because they tend to all taste the same since it's so tart and acidic. I highly recommend the flights where you can try 3 small lemonades at a time if you want to sample everything. The pina colada was good, not too bitter or tart. Strawberry lemonade tart but probably one of the sweetest to cut through the tartness. Watermelon was a bit too tart and bitter for me, I really didn't taste much Watermelon. Blue hawaii: lemonade with coconut water and blue spirulina was pretty tart and one of my least favorites. Mango colada: didn't really taste much mango through the tart lemonade and the coconut water isn't that sweet. Butterfly mojito: the lemonade and lime made this super tart and bitter, the pea flower tea was barely detectable. Again one of my least favorite drinks. Hawaiian tea lemonade: their Arnold palmer..the black tea couldn't cut the tart lemonade too acidic for me. PLG lemonade: once again the passionfruit and the guava can't cut through the tart and bitter lemons. Lava flow: the strawberry was overshadowed by the tart lemonade and I couldn't taste the coconut or pineapple. I love lemonade but this was too tart and at times bitter for me. I would prefer Aunt Annies or even Raising Canes lemonade to this any day at half the price.

WOW WOW! We visited four times in less than 24 hours. There are plenty of drink shops nearby, but we kept coming back because of the outstanding customer service. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the drinks are absolutely delicious. Every visit gave us that relaxed Hawaii vibe: refreshing drinks, great flavors, and a fun atmosphere. But what really sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend! S& T

The Blue Hawaii lemonade is lemon, coconut, with blue spirulina. Not too sour but the coconut doesn't make itself super obvious. To me it has a more yogurty flavor on top of the normal lemon and the blue spirulina doesn't add too much to it either. The service is quite fast.

I've been on a frozen fruit bowl kick and I've called in twice to this location for the KING's FROZEN BOWL. So good, please try this. I have an addiction now and only Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade King's bowl's work for me now. Idk what they're putting in their fruit bowls, but they're amazing.

Menu - * and Derrick going to work to make the best drinks!!!

I love my YELP family- because of you I was able to find this awesome place today. I been trying to find a really good place for a healthy drink!!! It's so Aesthetically pleasing!!!! And very very clean!!! I was helped by Derrick today, he was very patient and kind, I informed him I never been and needed something really good - he took time to go over there top sellers and helped me picked something to my liking. I ordered the Ginger Pineapple Lemonade- now y'all....... THIS WAS EVERYTHING- maybe the best drink I ever tasted in my life. I am obsessed with Lemonade and Ginger so maybe that's why but the combination of all three was FIRE!!!! I was so pleased - you guys may see me here everyday!!! I also ordered the Cobb Grain bowl; with no avocados - this bowl was very very FRESH all of their produce you can tell is fresh and have not been sitting for days. Idk what they do to keep it so fresh but every bite had a crunch, literally. I LOVED IT!!! It was everything I needed and more. I definitely never heard of this place before and I need you guys to support them!!! They are a hidden gem I feel - that needs to be EXPOSED... lol EXPOSING NOW!!! * check them out

Reminds me of home! The OG location has delicious chia pudding that I miss from this location. But you can't complain about a massive 32oz fresh fruit lilikoi lemonade on a hot day. So satisfy.

Allister D.

This is a great place for some juicy lemonade. It's all freshly squeezed which is a plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our strawberry lemonade; it didn't have major tart taste which was nice. The sweetness level was just right! I would definitely come back again especially during a hot day.

Strawberry pineapple lemonade, large size

Sydney J.

I'm really late to write this review, my sincere apologies! I saw Wow Wow at Bizerkeley food fest and decided to get the strawberry pineapple, large size, which was 32oz and $7 at the time. They also offered 24oz for $6 or 16oz for $5. While I would say the quantity of drink for the price was quite good, I could really only taste the lemonade was disappointed that I couldn't really make out the strawberry or pineapple flavors. I hope that was just my bad luck with the batch at the time I bought it, but I personally really hope to be able to taste the other fruit flavors when the lemonade is advertised to have those other flavors. It's decent if you were looking for a classic lemonade, however. I do appreciate that at the time, they were donating $2 from every purchase to the Maui strong fund.

Delicious and the service is really good. Super nice staff and they give really good Acai and poke bowls

Daniel O.

Such great service ! Amazing people ! Everything in the menu is so good so fresh ! They have games and tv. Such a great place to be for younger crew!!! But anyone is welcome ! Come try the lemonades !! Amazing flavors ! Great combinations you can do ! They have fresh poke also ! For the morning people they have seasoned toasts !!! Soo good ! Everything is great prices !

Food: I've tried their mango colada lemonade at a pop up before they opened and it was really good; after opening I got their classic açaí bowl and it's also really good! It tastes balanced and there's a perfect ratio of base to toppings which a few other places don't do well imo. They only have one size but it's big for the price and satiating enough to be a meal :) Service: I think this branch is family operated, which I love seeing, coming from a background of mom&pop shops myself, their service is always friendly too! Ambiance: As a new location the inside is super clean and cute, I love how close it is to campus too, it's just across the street from sather gate! Would definitely be back as the days are getting hotter read more

On a hot day, nothing hits the spot better than an ice cold lemonade. Walking into WoW WoW was the best decision I made all day.. Friendly people behind the counter, fresh ingredients, and easy signage made my decision to get the Watermelon Basil lemonade a snap. I walked out into the sweltering heat well armed with that delicious frosty beverage. And then I walked right back in minutes later just to tell the owner how much I liked it. Toast with banana and coconut and my husband had a piña colada smoothie and I had the mango ! Delicious however we were waiting for them to call our number or name so after 40 minutes I asked for my order and it was some confusion. 10/10 it's a 9/10 just cuz of that incident. I've been waiting for this place to open for over a year now and was so excited to finally try it today! We ordered the passionfruit strawberry, pina colada, and hawaiin tea lemonade with passionfruit puree. The coladas are the way to go if you don't want something too fruity. The owner was also really friendly and seems very passionate about creating good hawaiian lemonade. I hope this place grows in popularity so that it's still around whenever I visit Berkeley because the only sad thing is that I only got to try it the day after my graduation and moving day! read more

Only thing I would recommend is staying far away from this place. owner is on some sort of power trip here yelling at a young girl reminding him of food safety. immediately walked out after i witnessed that. I also noticed so many drinks being messed up while waiting and wait time is much much longer than it was when first opening even during a rush. Not sure what happened to the original AMAZING staff here during opening but your new team is not it. No one seems to know what they are doing. Waiting up to 20+ for an acai bowl isn't worth it when it's not even a full size. I also was given an acai bowl with no toppings the last time i went?? I asked for it to be fixed but the girl was clueless and claimed she couldn't find my order so I just left. I wasted almost half an hour just to receive the wrong order. so amazing !!!!!!! read more

the açaí base is good but the base itself wasn't even halfway full (the pic actually makes it look fuller). i was lowkey a bit shocked when it was handed to me. also there were like 1.5 teaspoons of granola. for something that costs $14.33, i don't really think it's worth it. i looked at portion sizes of other people's bowls, and some were fuller or the same as mine, so maybe it's just a inconsistency issue because they're new. i don't think i'll be returning (for the açaí at least) even though i love how close it is to campus, but i can definitely get my açaí fix at other places further away & better for the value. & looking at the other reviewers' photos i definitely got way less (if you compare where the açaí falls along the 'wow wow lemonade stand' sticker) read more

Both are great, but I like Poke Bar more as I feel you get more protein and food for the price, super fresh fish (cut smaller than Wow, but feels like I am getting more, plus I have the option of asking for tofu as an option!). I love all of the add-ins (fried garlic goes great with fish and is so good without being too overpowering, far less overpowering than fried onions), the sauces are great, I like being able to have brown rice without being charged extra (ahem, Wow Lemonade ;) ), the seaweed salad is delicious and the food was so good that right after I took the first bite I made an audible sound and rolled my eyes it was so good. I had to be chill about it, but dang, Poke Bar rocks! I also like that it is a tiny bit more affordable, and you get more food for the price. So much food that I wasn't able to finish my medium-sized bowl. Only detractor is that I wish their krab was krab salad and not just krab. And I wish that as far as two sides go, that I could get two sides of krab and just mix in one of their sauces and some wasabi and make my own krab salad. Only negative about the place is that they don't offer bags with handles, just regular brown smaller grocery bags. So, if they stepped it up a notch and had branded bags I think that would help to promote their business more since they are located in a somewhat out-of-the-way spot. Definitely come and check this place out. Super fast service, okay seating, great, great, GREAT fresh fish, and such an umami flavor. Tip: get a mix of white and brown rice to make it a tad bit healthier and get some more fiber (if you don't want to go fully salad style and get greens. Or be wild and get all three options as the base!).

The only very minor complaint I had was that the air was warm and stuffy, not a lot of ventilation or fresh air in there, but we got used to it and all the positives outweighed this minor issue. I'll definitely be back for lunch and maybe dinner too!

I recently visited Wow Wow Lemonade in Berkeley and was deeply disappointed with their smoothies. I ordered the Kid Smoothie and my friend tried the Blue Hawaiian Smoothie. Unfortunately, both options turned out to be rather bland and lacked the vibrant, sweet flavors we were hoping for. The smoothies had very bland undertones, and nothing about them stood out as particularly enjoyable. Sadly, this was not an experience I'd be eager to repeat. Definitely nothing I would go back for. read more

Every time someone enters **or leaves**, the door chime sounds **twice**. With a constant flow of customers, that means the chime is going off over and over again throughout the entire time you're sitting here. It's loud and extremely distracting if you're trying to work, read, study, or even just enjoy your coffee. I politely asked one of the employees if the chime could be disabled. He explained that they need it so they know when customers enter. I could understand that in a large store where employees might be working out of sight, but this is a relatively small café. There were two employees working up front, with the counter roughly 12 feet from the entrance, and a steady stream of customers coming through. The café itself has a nice atmosphere and could be a great place to sit and work, which is why this is particularly frustrating. A motion indicator, quieter single chime, or some other less intrusive system would accomplish the same purpose without subjecting customers to a double chime every few minutes. It's a small operational issue, but after sitting here for an hour, it has had a disproportionately large effect on the experience. I hope management considers changing it.
