Like a can of tuna, this bowl was packed to the brim!! Delicious, fresh, what more can you ask from a poke bowl. They also have an assortment of sauces to pick and choose from; that sriracha mayo + wasabi cream combo is heaven on earth. Very filling & great for a quick bite

THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS. this is literally the best poke bowl i've ever had in my whole entire life. The price is a little too pricey in my opinion but for the quality you get i'm not complaining. Everything is just so fresh and so good and it has SO MUCH FLAVOR!!! 5/5 -also really surprised when I tried the spicy salmon and it actually had some spice (was not expecting that coz usually for regular poke places when they say "spicy" its not spicy LOL)

This is one of my favorite poke spots in Berkeley! The fish and ingredients taste very fresh and flavorful. The customer service is amazing as well-- specially my server, Emily. She was very polite and helpful when I had questions about the menu. Overall a great experience!

Miso Soup

Went under a friend's recommendation and I'd agree that it's one of the better poké spots in Berkeley. Fresh ingredients and fruit make up the bowl, and I haven't been disappointed in the times I've gone. Prices are a tad bit on the higher end but the portions aren't stingy. My choice of protein is usually spicy tuna, salmon, or octopus, and I always like corn, pineapple and seaweed salad to go with it. Citrus ponzu sauce and furikake tops off the bowl nicely, and they're ALWAYS generous with the sauce. The miso soup was very hearty, rich, and filling, and I enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, the restaurant offers very little seating, so most customers take their orders to-go. Probably can't accommodate parties larger than 4 or 5. A little inconvenient for me, given I live far from the shop. (Also their napkins are flimsy tissue papers... but that's not a big deal since I always bring my own.) Worth the occasional detour!

Jeff contacted me right after this experience and said that my next experience would not be like the before and he was right! The wait this time was a lot more manageable and the zucchini noodles were not as wet as before! Some mitigants to my concerns before: - Order ahead of time (15 to 20min) - Eat the bowl ASAP, avoid zucchini noodles if you don't want wet bowls. - Mixed greens / sushi rice are the way to go if you want to try it out Blue tortillas and Scottish salmon sell out quick so order earlier in the day! Overall, a pleasant return-- looking forward to coming back.

They even gave me a little bit of vinegar to go with my bowl. (There was a red sauce that came with the bowl). I got the branzino rice bowl - which came with a red sauce. The fish was freshly cooked, and the combination of vegetables, seed, and fluffy rice was just perfect on a cold day. I liked the creamy carrot concoction, along with the preserved vegetable - the flavor combination was on point. The arugula added a a slight punch to the bowl. I ended up eating this bowl over 2 meals. Will be back!

I went with the fish n chips, a customer next to me highly recommended getting a strawberry pudding, which I almost did get, but opted for a banana pudding instead as it's my partners favorite and I wanted to bring her a surprise. The fish n chips were fresh, super hot. The fish was light and fluffy and wasn't too oily. The right amount. The fries were also very good. The banana pudding though. The best I've ever had. So good in fact my partner went and got another one for her dessert I like coming to the public market because you'll always find something new or different.

We ordered a few tapas, one paella, and a dessert. * Patatas Aioli 3.8/5: Potatoes were crispy and slightly seasoned. The aioli was good. Something about this just didn't hit as much as I would have liked. Could be that the potato didn't "potato" enough for me. * Croquetas de Champiñones 4/5: Don't think I've ever had mushroom croquettes before but these were pretty good. I liked the flavor. * Carrilleras 4.8/5: My favorite tapa that we ordered. The beef was super tender and flavorful. It was good with the toast. I just wished they gave more toast. * Paella Tres Cerditos 4/5: In general, pork isn't my favorite. The pork in this was okay for me. Everything else was good. It had a pleasant flavor and a lot of nice and bright colors (except for the pork haha). * Crema Catalana 5/5: Crème brûlée infused with citrus. There was literally a piece of orange in the center. The citrus was subtle and added a refreshing taste to the custard. We were celebrating my birthday so they added a candle, which was nice of them.

This experience caused me to have a severe anxiety attack and I'm someone that has severe anxiety. I understand my dog needs more training and experience. She's still getting used to being around in public places. Because of it I got kicked out with my dog. The man that worked there handled the situation with more caring and professionally and I thank him for that. Even though my dog and I got kicked out due to her unruly behavior. I'm not upset about it because I understood that my dog was being unruly due to another dog being there and the man that worked there was just doing his job. I just didn't like how I was treated by the bartender lady. For that I never want to come back again. Even if my dog becomes a service dog in the future. I do apologize for my dog's behavior and action but not sorry for the bartender lady's attitude towards me and my dog because she cause me severe distress and anxiety. Honestly, I would rate this experience a zero if it gave me that option.

Date: 3/27/2026 Time: 7:25 PM 68° Cool…read more My male companion asked where I wanted to have dinner this evening. I had a taste for Chilean sea bass. A search on this website resulted in Marica having it on their menu. He booked a 7:30 PM reservation for two. We arrived early. What started out as a not too pleasant experience for us was the attitude of the guy who greeted us when we entered the restaurant. Attitude bordered on rudeness (3 star). We somewhat tolerated it, not knowing what to expect next. The restaurant was filled with diners, and the only available seating was not far from the front door. Oh, the chill was in the air, and my not wearing a sweater and/or light jacket to stay warm had me shivering. I had to brave the element (LOL). Since there was no Chilean sea bass on their daily special menu, it took a little longer for my companion and I to peruse the menu, and decide what entrees we were willing to have. Usually I would order an Arnold Palmer as a beverage; however, this time I decided to be adventurous - reisling peach spritz please - to whet my appetite. My date had the Temescal pilsner. Eats: Grilled salmon arange ginger saffron blanc beurre, roasted potatoes and vegetables. Korean short ribs, honey garlic gochujang marinade, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Our meals were on point and bomb-diggity delicious. The arange ginger saffron was perfect with the carrot. It reminded me of glazed carrots. The green beans were fresh and not overcooked. Ooh, the Korean pork ribs were tender and that sauce was sweet and had a subtle kick of spiciness. (Definitely a perfect complement for the pork ribs.) I have to admit the chef knew how to burn. Food tasted so good that figuratively speaking y'all gotta slap the cook and his mama. Ambiance: Comfy and casual. Despite the dining area is small, still it is a great restaurant for dining on a Friday evening. From my perspective and vivid imagination with the indoor lighting, it exuded a romantic atmosphere. Only in my mind I can hear soft jazz in the background. What convinced me to give Marica a 5 star rating? It was none other than Enriqueta, our waitress. She was pleasant, attentive and so accommodating. The chef lost our order ticket; thus, the wait time for our meal took a bit longer than we anticipated. She came to the rescue and comped us with dessert - chocolate souffle with homemade vanilla ice cream. It certainly was a gesture of kindness to have my date and me smiling from ear to ear. Return visit? Yes, mos def...not the rapper for Chilean sea bass. Enriqueta said I can always call to find out what their daily special is.
