First off, the order was made SO fast. We ordered for delivery and it came within 25-30 minutes so kudos to both the restaurant and the Skip driver. For 2lbs of wings and an order of special fries, it came up to around $45 which is pretty standard pricing before tip. We ordered the Spicy Garlic Parm and Hot Honey. Both delicious, breaded wings. What I REALLY enjoyed were the Power of Nelli fries.. other places have called this 'Jaffna' fries. The fries were so crispy and salted just right. If you don't mind spicy jalapenos, try these!!! They're so good! Once the lockdown is over, I will definitely be dining in.

Ordered the Carolina BBQ Chicken Poutine and the pigskin appetizer…read more The pigskins were good. The pulled pork a little chewy and some pieces charred on the ends, but good flavor and definitely stuffed The poutine was a large portion. Lots of sauce and chicken pieces. Personally I would have preferred shredded chicken but my other half liked the chicken pieces. The BBQ sauce is smokey. And the cheese curds were extra cheesy. It was a good visit but I was kind of hoping to be WoW'd since I've heard so many great things. Definitely good . I'll give them another try on some other dishes .

Even the "mini" sampler patters are massive, and more than enough for all but the largest of appetites. We found the corn bread to be a bit too dry, even for corn bread, but once dipped in gravy or beans it softens up and isn't as dry tasting. We've only been the one time, but will definitely be back.

We tried two different types of wings Game Plan - Medium, Italian Parmesan Smokey Dill - BBQ and Creamy Dill My friend really liked the flavor combination of the Game Plan Wings. I did enjoy them too but the Smokey Dill were so much Saucier and definitely stole my heart. Dill anything is superb. Wings were meaty and a nice size! We also had the Meatilicious Poutine This fully loaded poutine topped was with cheese curds, gravy, ground beef, pepperoni and bacon. The amount of meat on this was surprising. Definitely perfect someone who wants all the toppings! Finally, we ordered the Jerk Chicken Mac. This mac and cheese was not only super cheesy but flavorful. The chicken was spiced well and I quite enjoyed the jerk flavor. I would definitely return and try some of their other menu offerings!

Food is what you would expect from a bar like this. Just tried The Crooked Uncle, was very pleased. Had to get it delivered because of the pandemic…read more Gave them a call, they were very friendly and organized while taking the order. Tried a number of things, including wings, taquitos, nachos and their Philly Steak sandwich. All were great. I was pleasantly surprised how good the Philly was (not a traditional Philly, but still very good). Wings were great, they come dusted. The Butter Buffalo sauce was on point, but next time I'll order those wings naked, better suited for that kind of sauce. Nachos again very good, includes chilli, a lot of places don't offer that. Delivery was fast and friendly. Delivery guy wore a mask, and you could pay by credit card or cash. Overall, an excellent experience.

I particularly enjoyed the Pork Belly sliders it was flavorful, well-seasoned, and had a fantastic presentation. The portions of the food were pretty good to share. Whether you're a fan of IPAs, lagers, or something more experimental, there's something for everyone. Service was amazing! Our server Matt was very attentive and made she we were comfortable throughout the meal. He also made great recommendations for the paddle! Overall, Beertown is a great choice for anyone who loves good food and even better beer. Definitely recommend for beer lovers and foodies alike!

The tables are very close to one another, which made access back and forth to the table a bit hard. The food was okay, but the taco my husband had was not to our liking, but overall everything else was great. I liked my chips and guacamole. We will be coming back but will be ordering other foods to try out. The noise level is normal for a restaurant like this one; it's not loud. However, since it's crowded, it makes it a little difficult to talk to someone across from you.

The flavor I wanted was sold out so I chose something else. I will say however the corn Ribs were outstanding Fats forward to visit two. I tried the new flavor pacific Glaze as well as the honey garlic. The honey garlic were kind of dry and not overly flavorful. I was disappointed. However I quite enjoyed the Pacific Glaze flavor. This one was definitely Saucier. The Cajun Fries were also superb.and the perfect side dish. So it's been kind of hit or miss with my experiences so far. Love their sides but the wings haven't blown me away, yet. There's lots of seating and the plaza it's located in has LOTS of free parking!

I came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch…read more I had heard a lot about this place online and was really eager to try it. From what I've heard, their Ranch was pretty famous and their chicken tenders are pretty great. There were three of us, and we all wanted to try the tenders. So we got one 5pc tender meal & one 8pc tender meal for two we also upgraded one of the fried to Voodoo fries. The flavours we tried were: Original Hot Spicy Korean Mango Habanero I personally liked the Mango Habanero flavour the most The Voodoo fries were fine, They didn't really taste that unique. Something I did noticed for both the Regular Fries & Voodoo Fries, is that the potatoes were kind of sweet. It's almost as if they use Red Skin Potatoes. Overall, the service was great but the price was a little high for what your get. The flavours we tasted were good, and I'm curious about the other flavours I didn't get a chance to try, so I think I may be back. Tip: There's more options on their website than what they advertise on their menu board in person. The 8pc tender deal for 2 wasn't listed on the board, but it was listed online.

Came here last month to meet with a friend who I have known for almost 20 years. We moved to…read moreOshawa a couple of years ago and haven't really explored around. I picked this place based on what saw on the menu Atmosphere: B In general, a standard sports bar and pub. Apparently there was an entire hockey team that had a celebration, so people were saying it was a longer lineup than usual. I like the giant TV in the middle of the main bar area. Noise level was ok for a sports bar to be. The area where we sat was a bit on the darker side, but still bright enough light to enjoy our meal Service: A+ We didn't wait to long for our table, maybe 20 minutes. After a few minutes of browsing, we were greeted by our server. I feel really crappy for saying this, but I forgot her name. About midway in our meal, I asked her how often do people say that she looks like Elizabeth Olsen? And she said at least once a day. When I informed our server about what I wanted to order, she was very honest and said that based on feedback, the dish did not receive great feedback. I did get reassurance though that if I was not satisfied with my order, then she would take the proper steps needed to enjoy my meal. I initially ordered my meal with onion rings, but it did come with fries. I did inform our service and after reconfirming the order, she did bring an extra side of onion rings as was my order. The error was acknowledged and addressed properly. Overall, she was very informative and was always keeping us up to date with the progress of our meal, although it did feel like to took a bit longer than I feel it should have. Food: A When I was looking for places, I browsed various venues. The dish that caught my eye for this place was the soft shell crab burger. The pic on the menu looked really impressive to me. There was a giant crab that could barely fit into the burger bun. That's what pushed me to try this place. When I received the burger, it was definitely not like in the picture. The arms and legs that were sticking out in the picture were not there, and it looked like a small shell was all that was included in the bread with some sauce. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't matching, I chose to ignore that view and still take a bite. In spite of not getting the appearance on the menu, I was very surprised by the taste. I could easily taste the crab shell with the chipotle sauce and it was delicious. I really did savor bite. Of course it could always be bigger, but the taste was so good I definitely was pleased with my choice. I provided my feedback to our server as well. My friend ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it looked pretty good. I was able to get a small bite, and although it was good, it wasn't anything that really stood out in my mind. Sides were definitely tasty. I liked the onion rings more than the fries. Didn't really feel like splurging on a beverage, kept it simple with a water Value: B In this time of rampant inflation, going out really is a luxury now. I have never been to this pub before, so I can't really compare it to previous visits to see if the serving size has changed. In general, I think that it's not uncommon to go to a sit down service and spend upwards of 30-40$ per person. My total bill came just under 20$ with tax and tip. It did help a bit with the extra side, but for the overall taste of my burger, I felt it was a fair price. As previously mentioned, of the burger was a bit bigger, that would have been better Overall: A- This establishment provided an excellent experience for a first visit. We went during prime time for eating out on a Friday evening, so its not really surprised for waiting for seating. Our server was excellent, my food was delicious and the service was too notch. Overall, I would definitely consider coming back here for a quick bite or to catch the Raptors when they start winning again.
