Supposedly Kung Pao Chicken

The food from this place is positively horrible. It's not even visually appealing. I spent a small fortune getting it Ubered to us, and it went in the trash. We tried, we really tried to look past how nasty it looked in the hopes it tasted better. It's awful. The rice has the texture of ?? Uncle Ben's? It's certainly not rice you'd find in any actual Asian restaurant. The bread part of the bao wasn't too terrible, but the filling was mushy and tasteless. Spicy Mongolian beef? No spice at all. Hope it was actually beef. The soup dumplings were tiny, only 3 to an order, and had zero brothiness to them. Just a firm hunk of filling. Will never ever order from here again. Disgusting.

Love the food, the experience of cooking it myself, the all you can eat is priced well and I love…read morethe fact that they're not rushing you to get out although I tend to get full quickly. We normally sit in for about an hour and a half. Because we go on the regular basis, they should have some type of loyalty rewards system. we spend so much money there because of how often I like to go.

First off I want to start by saying we came in at 10pm when they close at 11. We had 30 minutes of…read moreordering time. But upon walking in, our hostess/server immediately rolled his eyes and let us know the kitchen closed in 30 and we let him know that's ok. From the moment he sat us he was rude, cold, and unprofessional. He never gave us his name, Never brought us sauces (we had to ask) and everything he brought was slammed onto the table and walked away without a second thought. I'm used to being asked how everything is going, if we need anything, etc. None of that happened during our interactions with him. He barely checked on us, we had to keep calling him over. Then when we get the check once again no thank you for coming enjoy your evening anything. The lack of customer service made the experience unenjoyable to say the least. I understand we came in a bit towards closing but with still an hour I feel like we deserved better service and shouldn't have to charge that behavior to "we're about to close". Despite that, the food came out quick and was very good. The rice was a bit overcooked but I let it go. Overall, I would go back and eat there again, just maybe with a different server.

TL;DR: The food was so confusing I'm not sure how to write this…read more Okay. Let's start with the good: our server was wonderful. Perfect. No notes. A total joy. We laughed about the item I wanted to order not being available. They were attentive to the older ladies I was with. No complaints. The server is why this is two stars instead of one. Sadly, the food. Sigh. I know all these fusion places are disappointing, but mom wanted to come here. I asked if I could get the salad I wanted without the beef it comes with, but the answer was no. After reading the way too big menu twice, I ordered what I knew would be an incredibly sad drunken noodle. I'm not sure the restaurant knows what drunken noodle is. Does Fuse Box exist in an alternate pocket dimension where drunken noodle, with no listed fusion on the menu other than a strange "contains peanuts" warning, is drenched in a sweet peanut sauce even though it's listed as spicy with two peppers next to it on the menu? Where the noodles are just weird soggy mush? Where the spiciness rating scale might actually be a sweet sugar scale instead? Yes. Yes it does. Don't eat here. Just don't. I refused to eat my food. And not even mom suggesting it again in the distant future when she thinks I've forgotten, or she's forgotten my reaction to the food, will get me to return.
