    BBQ chicken sandwich with coleslaw
    Sarah B.

I work in Bellworks and this is the only restaurant on campus. It is WILDLY inconsistent in quality and ingredients. Sometimes I order the same thing a day apart and it comes prepared in a completely different way. Today was especially disappointing when I got a chicken sandwich that was supposed to have coleslaw and it had three tiny shreds of cabbage. Also traditionally made with chicken breast but was given two tenders today which made the ratios super off. The quality seems to be going downhill since we started working here.

I consider World's Fair by Fairgrounds a new hidden gem tucked inside the big work building that once was AT&T's thriving site. When you enter the new and improved building from the East Entrance security desk, the World's Fair is to the immediate left. The food menu is on the left of the restaurant, when you arrive. The bar is around further to the left and the outside patio straight back. There are places to sit outside, and it is pup friendly on the patio. The food and drink prices seem about right in line with other local bar/restaurants. I paid just over $40 (with tip) for 2 mixed drinks and an order of loaded French fries, which were very filling and shareable. Two of us couldn't even finish the plate! The swing chairs were fun to sit in at least for a few minutes, but I doubt they are comfortable to eat at since they move around. Or maybe I am just not coordinated enough! Check out the fun pinball machines and foosball tables. Parking is close in the East lot. I have a feeling that once more people learn of this fun and unusual place, it will become a hot spot for a morning coffee meet-up or after work drinks. (But shhhhh, for now, let it be our little secret to enjoy).

Such a beautiful big space! This is a great place to hang out with friends or for a work day! The drinks and food are delicious! For me, this is definitely the best suburban coffee shop option!

Found out about Worlds Fair by Fairground after visiting a friend who works at one of the offices in Bells Work. It used to only have a small pop up store but now have expanded to a permanent area within the building. This place is "awesome" per my 8 year old who enjoyed, not only the food we ordered, but the variety of arcade games they have for patrons to enjoy. The coffee drinks, although on the pricier side, were well made. I love a well pulled espresso drink! The baristas were nice and the ambience was chill. Will definitely be back more often.

Wish this location was open on the weekends! Immediately so welcoming, can either go to the counter and order or there are self service kiosks! Thankfully, I had taken myself there for my birthday which happened to be during the week! I got an Oatmilk iced latte, blueberry muffin & avocado toast and all of it was delicious! The aesthetic of the inside and outside was gorgeous! There is a huge outside patio, with lounge furniture, tables and chairs, they even had a bag set! I love that there are games as well to bring in that "vintage carnival" feel! This is one of my favorite coffee shops to add to the roster! I will definitely be back!

Disappointed at the change in this coffee venue. It is no longer a place to bring a friend and chat.

So I found Mustafa Coffee House and just looking at pictures I was very intrigued! The place is absolutely beautiful! It's quiet and perfect if you're looking for a workspace during the day! When I first arrived there was only one person working I'm assuming he's the owner and he was extremely friendly and ready to answer any questions that I had as well as make recommendations! As you will see from my photos there is no shortage of delicious things to get. You can either order with him or through a kiosk and they are open 24/7 which is a huge Plus in my book! They offer a wide variety of tea and coffee options both hot and iced. They are great options from familiar beverages to new fun ones to explore. I'm confident that you could find something for everybody in this adorable shop. I can't exactly remember the name of the coffee that I got but it was a special for Ramadan and as a complete and total coffee connoisseur, I can honestly tell you it's one of the best coffees I've ever had. Typically I am not a light roast girl but this was absolute perfection. It was the perfect complement to my Dubai chocolate croissant that you will see and I love that everything is served on cute little trays! There is plenty of seating! Tables as well as a cushioned bench area and a little bit more secluded area off to the side in the front. Everything is beautifully clean and shiny and the decor is just lovely. My friend also said that the bathrooms are pristine, I'll probably check that out myself next time! If you're looking for a cute and delicious small business to support in the Hoffman Estates area, I absolutely recommend Mustafa Coffee House! I will absolutely be going back very soon!

This particular location has nailed it for attracting customers because it's placed right near the store entrance/exit and in the produce section. Oh, I wish I lived in a life where I can eat this every day without any health consequences. They rotate their flavors frequently, but I'm sad to learn that the Ferrero Rocher and chocolate hazelnut flavors are no longer available. The Mariano's West Loop location has the most selections, but this location has a decent variety. I love the little things added to enhance the appearance of the gelatos, such as half a real coconut placed on the coconut gelato and a couple of Andes mint chocolate bars sprinkled on the mint chocolate gelato. The size of the scoops are decent. However, I noticed that the gelato here is softer than the West Loop one. My favorite Vero location is still the West Loop one, but this is my second favorite. ***NOTE: When you purchase 10 gelatos with your Mariano's card, you get one free (including the large size)!***

Ah, Vero Coffee Bar. You had me at "Fiat Cinquecento on your gelato cups."…read more I've only tried 3 flavors of their gelato so far, but all have been tasty. The mini cups are only $1, and it's a whole scoop of gelato! Can't beat that. I'm sure I'll try many others as time goes on, but so far I've tried the Disaronno Amaretto, Opera Italiana, and Chocolate ones. All are quite good. They also make shakes with their gelato, which I'm sure are awesome. What I really want to try is the spaghetti and meatballs, which is of course gelato put through an extruder to resemble spaghetti and meatballs. :9 I'm sure it visually beats a boring old sundae any day! Coffee drinks are decent; organic hot cocoa is nice. Prices are reasonable. Oh, and the breakfast panini are only $3 and are served all day. I tried the arugula one (sorry, can't remember what they call it on the menu) that also had tomato and fresh mozzarella on toasted ciabatta. It was nice. You can see my photo of it attached to the entry for this place on Yelp. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely decent, and good value for money.

I met a friend here a few months ago for the first time and have already been back several times…read morebecause I genuinely love the food and coffee. This cafe does so many things right, starting with the spacious parking lot located in a large strip mall, which makes stopping by very convenient. Inside, the dining room is bright, elegant, and welcoming, and the staff has been consistently friendly and kind. During my first visit, my friend and I ordered for dine-in, and I immediately appreciated the thoughtful details. The ordering counter displays a variety of freshly made pastries and bakery items that are very tempting. My drink was served in a real glass, and my food came out hot on an actual plate with a fork. I love places that make dining in feel intentional and special rather than treating it like takeout. I ordered the spinach Turkish bread ($8.75), and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was generously filled with spinach, cheese, and garlic, and the flavor was outstanding. You could tell it was freshly made and homemade. Just writing this review is making me crave it again. I also ordered an iced caramel macchiato ($6.25), which had a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness and paired really well with my food. One downside is that the dining room is not very large, so tables are close together. As it got busier during our visit, I became a bit uncomfortable because I could clearly hear the conversation at the table next to us, which meant they could hear ours, as well. It is something to keep in mind if you plan to stay. Because of this, I now usually order my drink to go. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this cafe. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots for both food and coffee, and I will absolutely continue coming back.
