This was our first time staying at Worldmark in Seaside.  The location can't be beat, right off Broadway on the Promenade.  We booked our two bedroom,  two bathroom condo on the Worldmark website.  I never thought to look at room rates here because I always thought of it as a time share and you'd have to be an owner. Now I know it's possible.  And I'll be sure look for future visits to Seaside.   The website requires a two night stay and I've seen one, two, and three bedroom options.  Our condo was spacious- full kitchen with dishwasher and a coffee maker. The cabinets were stocked with plates, utensils,  cups, wine glasses, coffee, tea, and basic condiments.  The condo had a six person dining table, couch, couple chairs, fire place, Murphy bed(in the living room), fireplace,  and a balcony with views of the ocean.  The master bedroom had a king sized bed and a bathroom. The second bedroom had two twin beds and the second bathroom was in the hallway just off the kitchen.   Lots of room and everything was in working order.  Upon check in,  you go to two different counters in the lobby. You check in and provide identification and credit card then proceed to the next staff member to get parking passes, wristbands, keyboards, and wifi passwords (there is a charge for wifi if not provided by the owner). Each room is allowed two cars in the parking garage but was told we could arrange to park three. At check-out, you are expected to take your trash to the trash/recycle room on your floor. We had an option to check-out via text and leave your key cards on the kitchen counter.  There are luggage carts near the elevators and through out the floor. The lobby has a coffee shop. There is an outdoor pool.  We had a wonderful time on the property and in Seaside.  Very close to Broadway, restaurants,  and the beach. Highly recommend!

Once I left the front office, everything was great. It's getting out of the front office that really just gets me! I feel that I was lied to versus trying to be sold something. I would much rather they tell me, yes, we are still trying to get you to buy more points, but instead, this person, who I thought was really bonding with me and truly wanted to help me use the new app ended up trying to get me to go to one of the meetings where we would go through all the hoops to try to get points. This, after we told her the horrible experience we just had where we bought points because we were misled (elsewhere). Yet, she tried to get me back to the breakfast. Ugh! Like I said, once in the room, it was fantastic. We love staying on the side where we can see everyone on the road and also see the sunset. We will be back because we enjoy this location and the fun we have around town. My only beef is with getting through the office. I do realize that they have to make money but be honest about it and please listen to us when we are telling you right now is not the right time to try to get us to buy more. We have purchased points in the past and have attended the breakfasts, but that was NOT the right time and making us feel that you understood us and gained our trust, that was just not okay.

I have stayed at this resort several times the past few years and am really impressed. As many of you know, it is very hard to find good accommodations on the Oregon coast, but this resort does not fit that bill. The resort offers several heated pools, entertainment facilities, and direct access to the Seaside beaches. The resort is located right on the beach a couple of blocks from the Seaside Aquarium. Shopping and dining experiences are all within walking distance. The rooms are updated, clean, and spacious. We have stayed in the one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom units. All the units have a full kitchen and dining table. The rooms are large and the beds are super comfortable. One tip is that this resort is very popular and booking can be difficult. I would recommend reservations be made at least 6 months in advance for winter travel and 12 months in advance for summer travel!!

Had a great time here during good weather in early Spring! Direct access to the boardwalk and beach. Was offered a presentation but we declined.

The balcony with the ocean views was breathtaking!!

I'd say that I don't know why these aren't all 5 star reviews. The staff here are AMAZING special thanks to Farid!!! ( I hope I'm spelling your name right because you deserve recognition!) He was absolutely fantastic!! Our reservation got messed up somehow and he took such good care of us!! Customer service at its finest which is a rarity nowadays! He was knowledgeable, kind and helpful!!! The world needs more employees like you sir!! My greatest compliments!! May you succeed in this career as they are soooo lucky to have a hard and compassionate worker!! Thank you Farid for all that you do

Nothing like starting your trip with a bathroom full of hair on counter and towels. So I called to the front desk at 10:38pm and asked them if they could send up some clean towels and towels for cleaning. They told me no one was working and to come get them myself. then they have the nerve to try and sell me a condo!? Hard pass!! I'm not into quantity over quality.. first and last stay here. Disgusting

Well, my end of our adventure. 7 days in this place. You may want to be sure you're on the south arm. The north arm is right next to the seaside round about. The kids, honking, screaming, reving engines, squealing tires, fires on the beach smoke drifting in our windows, till 5 am every damn night. Other than that, when we could use the hot tubs and pools, when they were not loaded with children, they were nice. Our rooms are great, and the staff is awesome! We were able to go sand dollar hunting. Found 5 of them. The local pubs and food places are awesome too. The coffee shops and food were great. But, go in the "off season" if they have one. Spring break time sucked.

An update on the update! Nothing much has changed at Worldmark Seaside. At front desk after being issued my room keys he said the standard: "now go over to the other side, and those gentlemen will give you your parking pass." Again, the "parking pass" is fake. You don't need one. It's just a ruse to get you to timeshare sales. Walk out quickly unless you want to be subject to goons who won't take "no" for an answer, and rely on your "no thank you" pleasantries for them to drill you further. Theses timeshare people salivate over anyone over age 40 especially if you have grey hair and look like you have money. You are their prey! So you still want to play their game? Just a couple offers.... Tango Card? Do your research first and tell them you aren't interested for any less than $200. Wyndham Rewards Points? I wouldn't accept anything less than 60,000 points. And while there are exceptions, usually locations you won't want to go to, realize the vast majority of stays are at Super 8, Days Inn, LaQuinta, Travel Lodge and Ramada. Yes, the vast majority just overnight travel motels, a far cry from a nice resort. Worldmark points? I sugest you do your homework and know exactly the conversion of 1 point before you talk to them. It's amazing how many people don't know what their points are worth. As usual, I walked straight out the door without looking to the other side or making eye contact. Yes, here comes Guido shouting at me. This time when walking out the door a timeshare goon followed me out to the car and when he realized I wasn't going to give him the time of day, he pulled out his phone and took a picture of my license plate! Oh boy, I'm going to jail now! Our room looks a bit worn down. Note the chips in the tile floor. Some of the furniture was updated. The bed was comfortable. The gas fireplace timer didn't work and a curtain rod was broken off. Both of those were fixed quickly. With such a huge property, I would guess rennovations are an on-going thing, but I can't help but wonder if Seaside is gradually falling behind?

Great beach location in Seaside OR Love the location of this resort... it's no wonder it's difficult to book a reservation for this place. It's right there on the promenade (locals called it the "Prom"). The Seaside Promenade is one of the most iconic locations in Seaside. The back door was just steps away to the center of town and the beach... couldn't get much closer! We were here during the Memorial Day weekend and we had a pleasant experience. I mentioned in the beginning that this resort was one of the popular WorldMark locations in Oregon. I knew it was a long shot and late in the game with less than two months to get a booking but I placed my name on the waitlist anyway... booyah! we got lucky that a studio opened up on a busy 3-day weekend! Check-in area was inside along a roundabout. Little parking to register/check-in. Main parking is in a covered 4-story garage with very tight corners. Inside the 8-story "hotel" building is a long walk through the maze of corridors as we made our way to our room. Our studio unit was on the third floor. Inside was just what we expected from the resort as WorldMark owners. Studios do not have fully-equipped kitchens but it was okay in our case, our studio unit came with a two-burner stove, microwave and small fridge. The balconies are small but it included a BBQ grill and a couple of chairs. Our balcony faced Broadway Street and the parking garage to the adjacent hotel (Shilo Inn). Overall, our first time experience here at Seaside was nice. We did not attend any owner updates at this visit although they will try their hardest to lure you with bonus credits to your account. However, personally, I have not felt welcome here,…read moreand I also observe that many of the stated amenities or "perks" are not available, not working, or just not.....it's been death by a thousand cuts for me, and it's on top of the multiple racial micro aggressions I've experienced in this town in less than 24 hours. 1. Upon arrival to check-in, I observed one person at the reception desk being helped by the sole staff member, plus several folks hanging out in the lobby. After checking that no one else was waiting, I sat down to wait. They all left and I was the only person waiting. Of course, a white woman strolled right up to the desk from outside just as the other guest left, and instead of telling her I was there first, or even acknowledging me at all, the white staff person just helped her. 2. They say that pets names are on a welcome board when you arrive. My dog's name was not there and the board was tucked away against a wall. 3. I'm traveling alone with a dog, so I unload everything before bringing my dog into the room. After lugging everything to the door, my key cards did not work. When I went back to reception, there was no apology, or anything about accountability. Simply "oh let me fix that." 4. The room says that the TV is equipped with AppleTV, and even has a special button for it. Does not actually work. 5. They say they provided cookies in the lobby between 4-6pm. I checked in just after 4pm and there were none. 6. I took my dog out to sightsee and when we same back, again with my hands full, the key cards did not work again. So, I have to leave my belongings at the door, and run to the lobby with my dog in tow, to get the fixed AGAIN. funny how that happened again. 7. When we did open the door to the room the first few times, the smell of "old lady perfume" was so strong. I asked the front desk if that was intentional and she said it must be a cleaning product. It is way too strong and I can still smell it on day 2, even after airing the room out as much as possible. 8. The shower head is covered with lime, and the spray options do not all fully function due to how clogged the shower head is. 9. The bedding is way too light for the climate. So then you run the heater, and get too hot in the night. 10. The outdated fridge runs loudly at random times in the night. I'm on a long road trip with my dog as we move to Canada, and we've been on the road for 2 weeks and been to 5 states. I decided to splash out on this hotel because I'm a huge Goonies fan, and my dog loves the beach. Overall, I'm disappointed and I'd say this hotel is not worth it at all. I will not stay here again. For this amount of $$$, plus dog fees for me, this value is abysmal.

We arrived shortly before check-in time at 4pm. We were provided with site information, parking permit, and wristbands/room cards. Somehow I ended up with a major room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. I also appreciated the welcoming and congratulatory items: tote bag full of snacks, fresh baked cookies, wine, cider, jam, and various local business discounts. The overall site was large with onsite communal areas. We did not use any of them, but nice to know of its availability, such as: library, DVDs, onsite cafe & mini market, gaming area, workout room, pool and hot tub. Our home away from home for a week had two twin beds, a double Murphy bed, and a king bed, two bathrooms with amenities like extra towels, blowdryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There was also a washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining table & counter seating. There was also a patio with grill, 3 flatscreens, DVD player, fireplace, and overhead fans. Despite the WiFi availability, using our phone service as a hot spot proved to be faster and better connectivity. We felt the property was relatively safe and secure, had proximity to retail, activity venues (movie theater, horse corral, go-karts, kite store, bike rental, and mini golf) & dining sites, and great public beach access. Overall onsite staff were welcoming and professional. So why just three versus five stars? As a long time owner (well before WorldMark, Wyndham, and Travel & Leisure), there were things that weren't quite up to expectations. Dated interiors like faded or chipped trim and sills, visible debris on the window sills (dead fly), carpet (paint chips, bobby pin), dingy towels, sand in the washer, and dirty glassware/flatware. Let's just say we kept our socks on and that also demonstrated that the carpets weren't quite as clean or thoroughly vacuumed. Under the living room sofa cushions, more visible debris. I used Clorox wipes from home on lots of surfaces. I swept floors, put towels in piles by each tub, bagged up our collective trash, and even took our compostable/recyclables back home. We did our best to make it easier on Housekeeping to turn over our room. We even checked out an hour early, 9am instead of 10am. We also waited patiently earlier during our stay to deal with scheduled unit sprinkler system inspection. A few minutes stated on the phone ended up being 90 minutes. Other guests were loud or heavy footed, even after so-called quiet hours. I get it that it's a resort getaway, not a library. Lots of unattended kids on the elevator, running in the hallways. Entire groups taking up communal areas for hours on end. Enough said. Despite attending an owner's meeting last summer at another location, I had to attend yet another one here. Informative, but yet again, I left feeling not quite so VIP because I stood firm to not purchase additional credits and upgrades. Costly enough with owner dues and fees as is. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Other WorldMark properties along the WA & OR coasts have better upkeep. I've stayed at many WM sites in Canada, Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii. This was the first time so many anomalies stood out. Good to get away from it all to decompress and explore, but definitely glad to return home.

There used to be a Disc Gllf Course here but its been turned into an Event Space. I don't know when the change was made but I saw pics from 2018. The loft is a low ceiling and the bedroom is a little cramped but still pretty awesome for a T.H. The Bathroom is good sized. I was pleasantly surprised at it's size. I really like all the wood interior. Really charming. The Kitchen isn't huge but definitely Full Size. A 10 Gallon Hot Water Tank gives you about a 10 minute shower, so no lounging. Covid-19 is still among us so most of Oregon is still in lock-down. Most businesses are closed and there'll be No Fireworks this year but the weather is decent and were at the coast. Worth it! I needed this weekend. I just got laid off to join the 1 in 3 Americans who are unemployed currently. I'll take a siesta and get another J. O. B. So, for now, I'm going to enjoy this weekend with my family.

We are on a summer nudist resort trip. Our first nudist stop in Oregon was Mountaindale Sun Resort…read more(MSR) outside of Portland. This small resort is located in the mountains. They warn everyone that there is a pretty steep 12 degree grade/incline on the entry road so anyone pulling an RV use caution. But once up there, the setting is gorgeously wooded & rustic. It's very tranquil...it feels like a retreat! The resort doesn't have hotels/rooms/cabins (called "bunkies" in the NW) for rent. They recently did get an RV they rent out and may get more options in the future. There are several areas to tent (no elec or water) and plentiful RV spots. We were lucky that we were friends with a member and were invited to stay at her place. It felt like we were sleeping in a tree house the way it was nestled into the mountain. The resort has a clean large pool, an indoor hot tub, sauna, sports court, rec hall, and a gaming room with ping pong and billiards pool tables. People were reading and relaxing in the outside common areas, scattered between the shaded tree-lined perimeter and the colorful gardens. Bathrooms and shower areas were large & clean. There was a laundry area but we didn't notice a common kitchen area for guest use like the other resorts we've been to so far. They did have a few snacks & ice cream for sale, as well as a little "merch" area. The crown jewel of this resort is their trails! They have many volunteers who maintain them. They are very proud of them...as they should be. The entire resort is run via a co-op of volunteers, and most work gets done by the members. The "host" (front desk guy) was very helpful. We arrived the day of their annual board meeting so we felt lucky to meet so many of the "movers & shakers" there - especially a few of the board members! The day included a small local band & a BBQ dinner. The newly renovated rec hall made for a great place for the dinner & social area. We made new friends who invited us for drinks & dessert (and fabulous conversation) that night. It was a great day. MSR is trying to amp up their marketing & activities to boost interest and memberships. A newer event, Sports Fest, had concluded a couple weeks before we arrived & was a huge success. It offered something for everyone - from pickleball clinics & tourneys to a fun poker run through the woods. Bummed we missed it but it'll be an annual event. Check it out if you're on this side of the country next July! They used to have a Trail Run challenge up the mountain side & are discussing bringing it back. A few other things to know: *It's clothing optional except in the pool & hot tub. Most everyone was nude while we were there. *There is a strict no photo policy (stickers are provided/required over your phone cameras). We did get permission from leadership to take these photos and help spread the word about this beautiful resort. *Rates are affordable. *No cell phone service there but WiFi worked well. The resort's motto is "Just Wear A Smile". This & other cute signs were posted to help encourage nudity. It is a good deal colder, especially in the evenings, than FL where we are from so of course there's a bit more leeway (and necessity) regarding clothes. We loved the vibe & the people at MSR & will definitely be back!

One of the nicest clothing optional parks we have ever found. It has been around for a long time…read morebut not well known. IT SHOULD BE THOUGH. Camping and rv sites plentiful. A few overnight accommodations. Hiking trails plentiful through a beautiful wooded 104 acre location. Club house with plenty of events, games and activities available. Pickleball, bocci court and other outdoor activities plentiful. Heated seasonal pool, sauna, indoor beautiful all season hot tub. Monthly special events going on regularly. This is NOT a heavy party environment but more of a truly easy going relaxed community who enjoy good company in a non judgmental place providing a safe, friendly place to enjoy a clothing optional experience. They offer day use for non members that is priced affordably.
