We have a great experience every year, and we wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else! The team is so lovely and kind. I always know I can reach them if we have an issues. Special shout out to the keeper of the hot tub. We chatted with him when he stopped by to clean it. He had some helpful hints and fun jokes. We could tell he was passionate about his work, and I felt like he genuinely was excited that we were planning to enjoy the hot tub! We'll be back again next year! Plenty of beach toys in the garage. The hot tub was hot and very clean. You can tell the owners go above and beyond to make it comfortable and cozy for the guests. I was just looking for a place to stay with my four-footed friend, Ruthie Bea, but this eclectic home away from home turned out to be so much more. Our room "Smooth Sailing" was clean, quiet and comfortable. And as its name suggests, it was decorated in sailing vessels. It's situated just two blocks away from a Mobi-Mat that leads to a big sandy beach. This beach is perfect for beachcombing and chasing the surf. (Mobi-Mats are designed for strollers and wheelchairs but are great for short legged dogs and folks like me with knees that struggle in deep sand). Additionally, we were about a mile straight shot from Seaside's unique downtown area and some really excellent clam chowder. One of Ruthie's and my favorite things about Sandy Cove was getting to chat with the absolute gem of an owner, Annie, and hear about all her great finds (and treats! Lots of treats and ear scritches). Each room is different and there's at least twelve that are dog friendly, so Ruthie and I will be back again and again.

It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for large groups. Clean old but updated. It's has a hot tub and ping pong table in the garage. So there are things to do and enjoy when your relaxing. Comfurtable furniture very relaxing. With 2 rooms to dine in. The kitchen is small but cozy. If you have elderly parents the bedroom downstairs is perfect. It's has a great huge fireplace for evening. The upstairs is older so the stairs are there. 4 bedrooms upstairs with 2 bathrooms. So it will hold a great family or friends event. We had about 30 in our group and rented both sides of the unit. I thought the rooms were very nice and there was plenty of room in both places. It would've been nice if they were connected in someway. In order to go from one location to the other you had to go outside. You get a good workout going down the stairs then up the stairs and down the stairs and up the stairs as many times as you need to Get from one location to the other. We use the grills one night and they worked out perfectly. There was plenty of room in the fridge and the kitchens were well-stocked. Many days I would sit in the front room looking out the window at the ocean. Plenty of surfers around and people Roaming the beach. I brought my spotting scope hoping to find some kind of large fish out in the ocean but it really didn't work out that great. I would rent this location again because it is in the perfect place. It is not in town so you most likely will have to drive but it is a nice quiet area..

Great Experience-Will Be a Repeat Costumer…read more We had a great experience with Oceanside Vacation Rentals, this was our second time renting one of their properties. We wanted to be able to accommodate our family, husband, four year old son and year old dog and myself. We even had a problem with were we were going to stay and it was resolved before they even called us. They moved us to a different property and it was larger than our original rental. We woke up in the morning to no hot water and it was quickly taken care of and we had hot water with in an hour. Everything was clean and well cared for at the Blue Hereon where we stayed. My best advice as a family who normally uses VRBO or AirBnB this was wonderful and very easy. Give them a call because they will help you find exactly what you are looking for to enjoy your Seaside vacation.

The…read morelocation is perfect for walking to the beach or any of the myriad of restaurants, shops, etc. The home was incredibly inviting and the kitchen amenities, grills and hot tub were all a highlight for our stay. The design and decor were very well thought out and it's one of the few places we've stayed where the home looked even better in person than it did in the pictures, and the pictures already looked great! Ashley was phenomenal host and was quick to answer questions, offer suggestions and provide anything we needed. Overall an easy 10/10 and can't wait to go back next year!
