We have a great experience every year, and we wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else! The team is so lovely and kind. I always know I can reach them if we have an issues. Special shout out to the keeper of the hot tub. We chatted with him when he stopped by to clean it. He had some helpful hints and fun jokes. We could tell he was passionate about his work, and I felt like he genuinely was excited that we were planning to enjoy the hot tub! We'll be back again next year! There was everything you would hope for... all the basics like coffee filters, spices, soaps, detergents, pots and pans, kids cups & utensils, pack n play, and much more (even stuff for the dog like bowls and a leash). Plenty of beach toys in the garage. The hot tub was hot and very clean. You can tell the owners go above and beyond to make it comfortable and cozy for the guests. Also a very short walk to the heart of downtown and the beach. We highly recommend!

Great Experience-Will Be a Repeat Costumer…read more We had a great experience with Oceanside Vacation Rentals, this was our second time renting one of their properties. We wanted to be able to accommodate our family, husband, four year old son and year old dog and myself. We even had a problem with were we were going to stay and it was resolved before they even called us. They moved us to a different property and it was larger than our original rental. We woke up in the morning to no hot water and it was quickly taken care of and we had hot water with in an hour. Everything was clean and well cared for at the Blue Hereon where we stayed. My best advice as a family who normally uses VRBO or AirBnB this was wonderful and very easy. Give them a call because they will help you find exactly what you are looking for to enjoy your Seaside vacation.

Doors to the business are closing in a matter of days so it won't matter too much unless you're an owner who has been left out of the loop, or worse, attempted to switch management companies and had their bookings held hostage by incompetent staff.

Of course, by then it was too late to find another place or get our money back from VRBO. 12 or 13 days of the 18 days, was loud banging and drilling during the morning (so you couldnt sleep in on your vacation). Its unbelievable they would do a month long construction project in the middle of prime rental season. We came back more stressed than we left. I spoke to the office and mgr. They said they had to do the project when it wasnt raining. I told them they should only rent rooms on the weekend then, or mark them half off or let ppl know early so they can make other plans. She had excuses about ppl canceling when they didnt know if it would be loud. How can a brand new roof be anything but? We fought w them and VRBO for months to get a puny $900 off a $6K+ rental. I recommend a dozen other options on the prom w higher ratings. Always ask if there is any construction planned or any on the bldgs next door. The year before, the pool was closed the entire 3 weeks we were there (Sept - prime vacation time). In addition to the roofing project, one elevator was down the whole time, making for extra long waits since 1 working elevator was shared by 6 floors. This place has worn out its welcome. Very bad on that part. Fix your pool or say it is closed! Our windows in the bedrooms were very dusty and dirty. The vents in the bathroom didn't work so on a hot day we would take showers and humid would linger for two days in the bathroom. They need to lower the price since it's not what it seems. Overall it was a good stay but wish they didn't lie about the pool. Donnamae, she was at front desk when we checked in. Amazing customer service. She went above and beyond. She also speaks Spanish!

I was just looking for a place to stay with my four-footed friend, Ruthie Bea, but this eclectic home away from home turned out to be so much more. Our room "Smooth Sailing" was clean, quiet and comfortable. And as its name suggests, it was decorated in sailing vessels. It's situated just two blocks away from a Mobi-Mat that leads to a big sandy beach. This beach is perfect for beachcombing and chasing the surf. (Mobi-Mats are designed for strollers and wheelchairs but are great for short legged dogs and folks like me with knees that struggle in deep sand). Additionally, we were about a mile straight shot from Seaside's unique downtown area and some really excellent clam chowder. One of Ruthie's and my favorite things about Sandy Cove was getting to chat with the absolute gem of an owner, Annie, and hear about all her great finds (and treats! Lots of treats and ear scritches). Each room is different and there's at least twelve that are dog friendly, so Ruthie and I will be back again and again.

The home is over 1,700 sq. ft and features four bedrooms, sleeps 10, two full baths, large living/dining area, gas fireplace, outdoor wood burning fireplace, tile floors, 55' flat screen smart TV with surround sound, DVD, cable TV, washer/dryer, wifi and bicycles. Although not ocean view, the home is in a very desirable South Seaside location just 250 feet from the beach and is a very easy walk to restaurants and shopping. This is about Vacasa the company and not a specific Rental…read more Booked a trip on May 31, 2025 for 6 night stay in Seaside. OR. On September 24, 2025 went and made my final payment for the property and noticed that the property address was available. Went to Zillow to check for additional photos and get more info on the area. The house is "FOR SALE" and went on the market on September 5, 2025. Contacted Vacasa and of course Tier 1 support is not very helpful so asked to speak to a supervisor. Spoke with Tonya and expressed my concern about not being notified that the house is on the market and was told there is nothing to be concerned with - Realtors will be told that the house is not available for showings while the house is being rented and that if the house is sold previous to your stay, the stay will still be honored per their contract with the homeowner. Still expressed my concern about random people coming by while we were on vacation and asked for a full refund. Sorry! we can refund you stay minus the cancellation fee per our policy, So I ask, what is your policy on informing guests when a property goes on the market - "I don't know what that policy is and would have to go and find out." Cancelled the reservation immediately and lost out on the cancellation fee because we were willing to lose out a $160 versus the stress of having our vacation interrupted by some real estate agent or random person coming by. Horrible Customer Service and will not be using Vacasa in the future. This is not how you treat customers.
