We stayed at the Moby Dunes house over spring break (March 20th - 24th). The house was much bigger than it looked in the pictures. There was everything you would hope for... all the basics like coffee filters, spices, soaps, detergents, pots and pans, kids cups & utensils, pack n play, and much more (even stuff for the dog like bowls and a leash). Plenty of beach toys in the garage. The hot tub was hot and very clean. You can tell the owners go above and beyond to make it comfortable and cozy for the guests. Also a very short walk to the heart of downtown and the beach. We highly recommend! read more

We booked directly through Seaside Vacation Homes. It was a great experience. The house we rented was amazing. He was the perfect base for our seaside adventure. If you need a big place to rent the Escape Manor is the home for you. It has 6 bedrooms to accommodate your party. It is only 3 blocks away from downtown and a bl0ck away from the Prom. The staff were quick to respond to my messages and graciously called us to let us know we had forgotten an item and agreed to send it back to us. We recently stayed at "The Sandbox" on 1000 N Holiday Drive, Unit 402 in Seaside, OR. We had a fantastic stay. The location was just a half mile from restaurants, stores, and things to do. There was also a lot of free public parking in the area close to the beach. Our unit had plenty of kitchen amenities and two full bathrooms. We enjoyed the patio overlooking the river, the dining room table, and all the DVDs they unit had to offer. We would definitely book again if staying in the area. read more

We rented 'Oceans of Lovin'' in Seaside from January 9-11th. We were in town for our son's basketball tournament & this house was a perfect choice! Everything was ready for us by time of arrival.When I called to check on kettle and a blanket to spend time on the absolutely lovely patio - both were purchased and delivered to our condo immediately. You have the whole floor to yourself. An absolutely gorgeous patio with 2 doors leading to kitchen and to the master bedroom. The master bedroom king size bedroom is really huge and very comfy. AC. 2 fireplaces which heat the rooms. You also get a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, spices, ziplocks etc. Bathrooms are clean and beautiful. We spent Christmas (12/24-12/28) in Seaside and stayed at Sandpiper Cottage located at 120 13th Avenue, and it was such a lovely place to make holiday memories. The cottage is tucked away on a quiet street just steps from the beach and close to the Prom -- truly a perfect location, especially for our dog, who loved the easy beach access. The home was cozy, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The beds were super comfy, the space felt warm and welcoming, and we especially loved having both indoor and outdoor areas to relax. The private deck and grill were a great bonus. The Seaside Vacation Homes staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. We truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. Just returned from our 3-night stay at the Seaview Penthouse (Nov. 1-4), and it remains the nicest condo I've ever rented--and I've rented many! And it's not just the amazing views and cathedral ceilings. Everything about this unit spells luxury, from the comfy and tasteful furniture, to the beautiful flooring (and plush bedroom carpet), to the gas fireplace that kept us cozy. But perhaps the best touch is a kitchen that is stocked with absolutely everything: pots and pans of all sizes (with lids!), two drawers of utensils, plentiful towels, a mixer, colanders, mixing and serving bowls--it's better than my home kitchen! We also love the Seaside Vacation Homes staff; any time we've contacted them (e.g., early arrival or how to turn on the disposal), they've been friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous stay in Sunset Beach (Seaside Point View) in mid September. The unit #3940 Sunset Blvd was immaculate and the kitchen well appointed. The master bath had a huge jetted tub and separate shower. It was the view from both the living room and master bedroom that stole the show. We stayed at The Modern Marvel (2044 Ocean Ave) from October 23-26 and had such an amazing time! Even though the weather wasn't great that weekend, we barely noticed because the home was so cozy and thoughtfully stocked with every amenity imaginable -- if you have it at home, it's probably here too. The house layout was incredible with two full kitchens, two living rooms, and a laundry areas, making it so easy for our group to spread out while still enjoying time together. The game room quickly became our favorite hangout spot, and the top-floor views by the fireplace were perfect for relaxing and soaking in the atmosphere. Both kitchens were well-equipped and easy to use, which made meal prep simple for everyone. We had four households ranging in age from 4 to 67, and the setup couldn't have been better -- plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for privacy, yet great common areas for group time. Overall, this was one of our best beach trips ever making memories -- and it's all thanks to this amazing home! read more

We stayed at the Surf Shack on 3120 Sunset Blvd in Seaside December 16th through the 21st, 2024. It was sort of a last minute getaway, needing some beach time during stormy season. We were NOT disappointed in the storm or the accommodations! This home is lovely and perfectly appointed with everything you need to feel right at home. The location is wonderful, right on the beach with gorgeous views of the waves, surfers and all of the lights of Seaside at night. We had a huge storm roll through that knocked out the power for about 12 hours. The company is wonderful to work with and was quick to respond to any concerns. We would rent this home again in a heartbeat. It might just become our new home away from home, within about a 4 hour drive. I'm hesitant to leave this glowing review since it might make it more difficult to book if it becomes too popular! :-D read more

We stayed at 900 N. Prom, unit 401, Oct. 6-10. This condo is AMAZING!!!! The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with everything you would need, including pizza scissors, salad spinner, left-over containers, etc. The furnishings are beautiful, comfortable and tasteful. It's on the top floor so the ocean views from the front and the mountain views from the side are extra spectacular. SVH maintains this unit impeccably and the office staff responds quickly to any need/question you might have. We will come back again, and again! read more

We rented the Surf Shack from Seaside vacation homes August 26-30, 2025. It is a spectacular home with gorgeous views, very clean, well managed with top notch customer service. The home sleeps eight in two main floor bedrooms and an upstairs bedroom that has bunk beds. There is also a great hot tub on the porch overlooking the ocean. A++ experience. I will be using Seaside Vacation Homes rentals forever more. 44 8th Avenue is the best! We booked from 11/24/24-11/28/24. We have been coming to Seaside for years, usually staying at the in-laws timeshare at Worldmark Seaside. Unfortunately, they sold their timeshare and we needed to look for other accommodations. This was our first time using Seaside Vacation Homes during the week of Thanksgiving 2024 and we all agreed that they are THE company to book with when staying in the area. I usually use VRBO when booking a home, but there is no comparison here. It is a night and day experience in my opinion. Seaside Vacation Homes is in communication with you from the time of booking until checkout. Meaning that a real person calls you and leaves a message confirming your reservation. They are a locally owned company and are available to answer any questions/concerns not only about the rental, but about the area. This is particularly important to me because if there is an issue, someone will be able to address it immediately. This was the first rental I've booked that really thought about the little details and things you may need. While these things seem small, I believe this is what sets SVH apart from other rental options. For example, there were doggie waste bags and a towel to wipe off our pooches paws at the front door. There was plastic wrap, foil, ziplock bags, olive oil and a variety of cooking spices. There was a Brita water pitcher in the fridge! This was also the first rental I've stayed at that had stainless steel cookware! Such a welcome change from the scratched teflon cookware one usually finds at rentals. There were normal sized hair dryers and not the tiny travel ones that take so long to dry your hair. The home itself was immaculately cleaned. We rented Beach Keen, which is a prime spot with ocean views that is pet friendly. The house was spotless and did not smell at all. No dust bunnies, pet hair or sand to be found anywhere. That's an amazing statement knowing that it's pet friendly and right next to the beach. The night before we checked out I received a text with instructions of what to do before checking out, which included starting the dishwasher, locking all doors and windows and setting the temp to 55. All easy things and nothing unreasonable. We enjoyed our time at the coast immensely and the rental was a huge part of it. It was clean, easy access to the beach, awesome views and close walk to the center of Seaside's restaurants. Can't wait to stay here again. Thank you SVH for a wonderful experience!! read more

We had the best family beach week at "Seashell Island" 240 13th Avenue. The home is spacious and has every amenity. The bedrooms with comfortable beds, and bathrooms are great. The large garage has beach chairs, toys, and wagon. Kitchen is entirely outfitted, backyard is fenced in with a covered patio over an ample dining table, gas grill, gas fire pit, and a large covered spa. Entrance to the sand dunes and beach is at the end of the block. It was a perfect, peaceful location for our family, and one block from the promenade and walk to town. We plan to return! read more

Our family spent 5 nights in August at Moby Dunes! 309 4th Street. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, pet friendly house was perfect for our adults, kids and pets! So close to the beach, we could easily go back and forth, several times a day! We could walk to the aquarium and downtown easily. After a long day kite flying and body surfing, the hot tub was perfect. We had s'mores by the fire pit on 2 evenings and played board games on the family sized dining table from the well stocked game cabinet. The house has plenty of room so we didn't feel cramped. We are repeat visitors to the Seaview Penthouse at 901 N. Prom. This year we stayed three nights (Nov. 2-5), and it was pure bliss. The unit is so luxurious, the views so amazing, and the staff so friendly and helpful. I texted about not being able to find the power switch for the disposal, and I received a phone call within a few minutes. Problem solved! 1/28/2025 "Modern Marvel". My family of 10 just spent 3 nights at Modern Marvel and let me tell you, it definitely lives up to its name! As soon as you enter, you see the ocean view, and it's spectacular. The decor is modern, beachy and comfortable. The kitchen is clean as a whistle and very well stocked. The grandkids loved the bunk room and enjoyed watching movies on the big screen tv. What an amazing work trip. We rented two cottages by the beach which was much cheaper than renting a bunch of hotel rooms. The places were lovely, well appointed, hot tub, fire pit, puppies allowed! I have stayed by the beach a bunch of times, but seaside vacation homes were the easiest, cleanest, and best places. When we called about the combo for the hot tub, we were met with the nicest human being ever on the other side. No sales center, a real life human being who was funny, kind and so helpful! Prom in Seaside, is a top-floor, corner unit that just feels like the lap of luxury. We stayed at the Surf Shack at 3120 Sunset Boulevard in Seaside, OR on February 11th-Feburary 15th. We went for our wedding anniversary. The view and the closeness of the ocean was incredible! I loved waking up and viewing the ocean from every front window. We enjoyed relaxing in a luxurious hot tub, perfectly positioned to capture the breathtaking ocean was just what we needed for a getaway. We were there 3 nights then our 3 adult children came for a night. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was fun enjoying family time while playing games in the game room. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking, they even had organic coffee, and teas. We used the air fryer to cook potatoes and fish. The house is perfect for a getaway. The Tillamook trail is just a mile or so away. We went hiking several days. We will defiantly be returning! read more
