It is a couple hundred yards from the beach and walkable to everything in Seaside. Book through their website and not on Airbnb. This is an absolute must for anyone who loves the Oregon coast and who wants a taste of our true personality.

This place is very convenient because it has the best coffee house+bakery right down the street. It has a kitchen and a barbecue pit to cook meals, a full size fridge, and a couch and dining table/chairs. For what you get, and where you are, their rates are very reasonable. I hesitate to post this because I still want to be able to stay there... but it is a really sweet spot along the coast and others should enjoy it as well.

We stayed in unit #3 for valentines weekend , upon entry we were pleasantly surprised to see it…read morelooked nicer in person then in the photos. unit smelled musty so I opened the window to air it out then it was fine. the ocean front view was great had a large flat screen tv in the living room above the fireplace and comfortable couch, loved watching the bunnies in the yard and the people walking dogs down on the beach, fire place was nice for warming up. kitchen had just enough for cooking a meal for two, there were limited dishes 4 exactly and 4 utensils ,there is no dishwasher in the unit and bathtub was very small . bed was soft but comfortable, no tv in the bedroom, carpet in living room needs a deep cleaning. unit felt a little overpriced at 340 a night for the condition of this unit, but it is the best price I could find for a ocean front view in cannon beach for valentines. something that was not explained in advance is the parking spots outside are marked and you are expected to park in the assigned spot ours was a bit away from our unit, also the stairs leading up to the unit are narrow and steep was fine for us but probably not great for older people. Only the unit next to ours had access to the stairs leading to the yard which really bothered me the entire time not having access to the yard in the back, but it was a fairly nice cozy place to spend valentines weekend and it was quiet.

The…read morelocation is perfect for walking to the beach or any of the myriad of restaurants, shops, etc. The home was incredibly inviting and the kitchen amenities, grills and hot tub were all a highlight for our stay. The design and decor were very well thought out and it's one of the few places we've stayed where the home looked even better in person than it did in the pictures, and the pictures already looked great! Ashley was phenomenal host and was quick to answer questions, offer suggestions and provide anything we needed. Overall an easy 10/10 and can't wait to go back next year!

We loved having a refrigerator. The views from the room were amazing and we were only a few steps from the beach! Cannon Beach is packed with people in the summer so it is hard to manuever through traffic, but if you happen to be coming from the north to the south on the 101 -- you can get off at Cannon's most northern exit and skip a lot of it. We liked Schooner's Inn as far as most amenities. One main issue is the malfunctioning toilet that did not flush properly at all. It was clean but it is very dated. And lastly, people should pay attention to the times posted for outside noise, as sound carries pretty loudly. We would stay there again.

The walls are very, very thin and floors above are creaky- you can hear conversations and footsteps from the surrounding rooms. You're provided earplugs at the bedside- definitely needed if you're a light sleeper. Tip- parking at the front is limited and ideal for smaller vehicles. There is a gravel lot on the side of the resort with ample space for larger vehicles and proximity to a first floor patios. Enjoy the view and waves crashing on the patio!

I lived in Seaside for three years in the 1990s and it was nice to come back. The hotel looks about the same as when I used to walk and bicycle along the Prom back when i lived there. It was nice that the hotel is dog-friendly and that they waived the pet fend offered a discount for those coming to town for DachSand. We had a king room with a partial view and a kitchenette. While our room was on the side and didn't look straight out onto the beach, because the widow faced the south, we had a great view of Tillamook Head and the beach on that side. The hotel has been around since 1970, so it's not ultra-modern, but our room was clean and it appeared to have been well maintained. We didn't have any complaints. The staff was friendly and there wasn't a lot of noise. We had a good time.

When we arrived, we discovered that the rack rate for the hotel was more than ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS than what Expedia charged us! Neither party agreed to reimburse us so we feel cheated. Never book a room here through Expedia; call hotel directly.
