We have winter vacationed here 5 times and there has been snow each and every time. Maybe we are just lucky, but hey we love it! We stayed in a chalet, which overlooked the golf course. Deer came up to the porch every day, and would eat our offerings right from the railing. We used the very large swimming pool, and the wife enjoyed the SPA. I actually thought the workout facility was nice for a resort, with plenty of options and machines. TV's as well. They also have a covered outdoor skating rink, what great winter fun. They have a nice resturant at the lodge, and free WIFI in the lodge.

Peaceful Loved our stay here at the WorldMark location. The view from our balcony overlooks a golf course and a trail that is an 8-mile walk. Lots of green trees and the area is so beautiful and peaceful. It is just outside the town of Klamath Falls. While it is in a quiet and secluded area away from the city it has all the comforts we come to expect from a WorldMark resort. The children enjoyed the indoor pool and the recreation area. It is one hour away from the Lava Beds National Monument and 1.5 hrs away from Crater Lake NP. Not enough time... we have to come back here. There are plenty of restaurants around the resort if you don't feel like cooking. There is a Wal-Mart and Safeway nearby! There are little bugs called midges. Although they can be pests they are totally harmless. They are attracted to light so don't leave your doors or windows open at night or you will have lots of company. Review #0226

Great resort with friendly and very helpful staff. A good place to unwind far from the hustle and bustle city work life. My family had enjoyed the serenity that the place offered.

I will be posting photos soon on this place, but I must say, its a very beautiful resort and has everything you could want! We didnt get it this stay but love the jetted tub in some the rooms here. Like most Worldmark properties, this has all you need, a full kitchen, washer/dryer and plenty of things to do while your staying here at Klamath Falls This stay they gave us a room on the 4th floor, dont worry though- this place does have elevators- Be pretty scary if it didnt! The last time we were here had a nice view of the golf course, if you like golf they have a great course here at the Running Y! And Creater Lake us nearby- if you go do that I would highly recommend a side trip to Toketee Falls This is the 3rd time I have been here, and love it, we will be back here when we can!

Definitely one of my favorite worldmarks. Great kocation, the staff is super friendly, and there are many nice stores and restaurants located in the same Plaza area. The pools and amenities are great. They also have an on site day spa.

Just got home from a weekend getaway at the Running Y, and the experience was stupendous. Check-in and check-out took SECONDS, every staff person we encountered was incredibly polite and accommodating, and the room was clean and spacious, and adorably decorated with country/cabin type taste. Our squad of 4 took full advantage of their enormous pool area, including hot tub and sauna, as well the views of the lake and golf course from our very own balcony. There are walking/hiking trails surrounding, and there's plenty to do nearby. Running out of ideas? Call the check-in counter, or go to it, and the charming staff will delightfully provide you with a plethora of options tailored to your taste. Regardless of whether you're a farmland inhabitant or a city-slicker, anyone seeking a refreshing retreat into a countryside paradise away from the madness of the city will find great satisfaction here. This hotel is quite the drive off the beaten path into winding roads, through small-town quiet neighborhoods, and into a gorgeous estate where the atmosphere is simply invigorating and restorative. Any request we made for supplies was endorsed quickly, and the grounds here are kept spotless. I find it hard to believe it's considered a 3 star hotel, because I had a 5 star stay that was both luxurious and renovating. Thank you for the extraordinary experience, and keep up the fabulous work!

She said she would come get us in 10 or 20 minutes which she never did. When I asked what happened 45 minutes later as we waited she became combative. Told me I couldn't expect a window tabke on Memorial Day when she just told us we could get one if we waited ten or 20 minutes. She was ridiculous, telling me there were no window tanked available, when I had a reservation AND waited per her instructions. It ruined my husband's birthday. The host there was rude and condescending when we just wanted the table we reserved and waited for. Wish I had gotten her name, but we just left pissed off. You know what? Maybe don't put a child there? With no manners. It's not the first time it's happened to us either. It's a bad look for LOW and it ruined my husband's birthday for no reason. She told us 10 to 20 minutes. Then she was pissed that we wanted the table we reserved. Were are disappointed because we are locals who go there all the time. What utter bullshit. That host cost you money. I hope you at least talk to the person. She has a bad attitude and we did not. I guess she was freaked out because it was busy? Whatever it was, she was inappropriate and ruined our day. Will start going to Harriman's or the Running Y. They are decent and respectful to people. Christ! Do something. Thank you!

To be fair, this was one of the busiest weekends I've ever seen there. As a business owner myself, I understand that on extremely busy days things don't always go as planned, and because of that I was willing to overlook quite a bit. We stayed in Chipmunk Condo Cabin #3. The cabin had a musty smell and a very small bathroom. The beach area was great for families, and my daughter absolutely loved it. The biggest issue was the food and customer service. Around 2 PM on our first day, we stopped to get pizza for lunch while waiting for our cabin and found out they were already sold out. Since there aren't many nearby dining options, I stopped by the lodge around 6:45 PM to specifically ask when they stopped seating guests. The two younger employees seemed annoyed and unsure but eventually told me the last seating would be at 7:45 PM. I explained that I was traveling with my wife, a 2-year-old, and a 3-month-old, and that driving an hour to Ashland or Klamath Falls for dinner wasn't ideal. We hurried back to the cabin, got ready, and returned around 7:35 PM, only to be immediately told they couldn't seat us because they were too busy and had a large party. My question was simple: Why wasn't I told that when I specifically came in earlier to ask? Had they explained the situation, I would have gladly come sooner. After asking to speak with a manager, who never actually came out, we were suddenly able to be seated. Once inside, there were several empty tables available, which made the whole situation even more confusing. Our server seemed annoyed from the moment we sat down. We decided to order our food to go instead of dining in, and even that seemed to bother him. When I politely provided feedback about the miscommunication, his response was essentially, "Well, we got you seated, didn't we?" That completely missed the point. The issue wasn't whether we eventually got a table. The issue was being given incorrect information and then nearly being turned away despite arriving before the stated seating cutoff. The next morning, we discovered mice had chewed through snacks we had left on the kitchen counter overnight. There are no cabinets available to store food. When I reported it, the manager apologized and explained that even the cabin she lives in on-site has mice because they're in the forest. While that explanation makes sense, it didn't make my wife feel any better with a 3-month-old baby sleeping in the cabin. The second day, pizza was available for lunch and was actually very good. The older gentleman working there was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, when we returned around 6 PM for dinner, pizza was sold out again. My wife then tried ordering dinner to go from the lodge and was given a completely different takeout menu that excluded many of the better dinner options, including items we had ordered to go the night before. When she asked if she could order from the regular dinner menu, she was told absolutely not. The inconsistency made no sense. At that point, we'd had enough. Between the restaurant issues, the mice, and the overall lack of customer service, we decided to cut our trip short and leave a day early. The lake and beach are beautiful and have the potential to make this a great family destination. Unfortunately, poor communication, inconsistent service, restaurant issues, and mice in the cabins overshadowed what could have been a wonderful stay. Mice may be part of being in the woods, but regular preventative pest control inside the cabins would go a long way toward making guests feel more comfortable.

At least that's what I was told, so we ended up with one room and 3 beds for an extra $100. The first night shower was messed up, and the charger didn't work because you have to flip the light switch. This time around I'm really disappointed by the fact they don't clean your rooms without you going to the front and asking. I stayed 4 nights and not one turn down. The breakfast sucks and is only cold Options. The hotel is old as dirt and has no new renovations, yes the pricing is cheap but I won't be staying here again. Beds are old, make noises when you move, the walls are dirty, the bathroom is growing mold, I honestly don't think anyone really cleans here. You can see the dust on the lamps and light fixtures. It is a convenient place due to the location. They do have a lot of parking and a pool that is heated which is weird when the weather is 80-90 degrees during the summer. There are a lot of homeless people around here and behind the rooms I did take a picture. It sucks when you can't leave windows open because you don't want to hear or see them. I did see a lot of people staying here smoking outside of the rooms or near their cars. Which is not okay. I didn't like that the lady that works here sat down instead of getting up to greet you, I did ask if I can borrow a broom to clean our room and she said no. I don't see why that's an issue all I know is it left a sour taste in my mouth. It's unfortunate that Klamath doesn't have new upgraded hotels.

And if she's not the manager or the night manager, she should be! I booked this hotel on my way through Oregon through the IHG app. I like the IHG group of hotels and I had no issues with this hotel it's exactly what you would expect from IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express. But will really set this place apart was, again, Cynthia! When I showed up she was friendly and courteous. There were other people waiting to check in and she handled all of our tasks professionally and deftly, I wasn't waiting for very long! Then, there was an issue with my room and Cynthia was able to accommodate me getting into a different room. Then I made a mistake with my key card and Cynthia helped me out with the most wonderful attitude. And finally helped me get settled into my room for the night. Checking into hotel can be stressful, especially when there's something that goes wrong, and especially when you make a mistake with misplacing your key card. Cynthia took all the stress out of that situation and really helped me out. The breakfast in the morning was a little limited, but the server was very friendly and helpful! So again, this hotel is great, but the star of the show here is definitely Cynthia!
