Absolutely one of my favorite Worldmark 's. This is my 2nd stay at The Running Y. I spent my birthday here last year & had a 1bedroom suite exchanged through Interval. Room size was generous, with all amenities Exceeding my expectations & this mom to 4 children has some pretty HIGH expectations. This time I booked through Extra Holiday Reservations driving home from Eagle's Crest Worldmark in Redmond (that was a doozy). I had made accommodations at Homewood Inn Suites in Medford to breakup the drive back to So.Cali. I used Hilton Honors points to book but it got dark on me & I am not down to drive during night through woods in winter weather. So I checked at Running Y & got a Great price for 2bedroom 2bth suite, fully stocked kitchen & balcony. 2 night minimum & I was happy! Instacart delivers here! All staff members are so VERY kind & helpful. Shannon, Mackenzie, Issac & the 2 gentlemen at the Sport's Center, along with pool facilities staff. Personable, down to earth GEMS with impeccable assistive service. The resort grounds refresh my spirit! The ice skating rink is SO MUCH FUN, along w/hiking trails, basketball/tennis courts. What a pleasant surprise. We did an II Exchange Father's Day week. We got a one bedroom with a pullout Murphy bed. Building 1 unit 305. From our unit we had a view of holes 10 & 18 of the Arnold Palmer Signature Running Y golf course. Each unit its own bbq grill out on the deck. The one bedroom is very spacious. It has all the comforts of home. Washer & dryer; dishwasher, etc. The only con - the televisions are small. 36" in living area and 26" in the bedroom. Worldmark Wyndham Running Y shares property with the Running Y Ranch Resort located in the Klamath Basin. Outdoor parking lot. Elevator and stairs. We would have enjoyed ourselves more had the weather been warmer. It's still winter with lows in the 30's and highs the high 50's most days. read more

We had a nice two night stay here with our friends. Our two bedroom unit was clean and nicely laid out. Our stop here was to go see Crater Lake, and it's about an hour or so from there. We cooked and grilled, and our kids were able to enjoy the indoor pool. Check-in is a drive-up check-in because of COVID, and for the pool time you just call ahead to make sure there's not too many people there. read more

Hotel room is still nice but food service levels have really slipped. Minimal menu options, poor execution of what was offered and an obvious lack of experience in employees. Coffee was even terrible. The sewer odor was horrible in the conference room. Sad to see the greenhouse is now empty except for a large chest freezer. read more

I absolutely love this place. We will be back for sure. We stayed 4 days but explored the area. Kids went to crater lake zip lining. That was the highlight. We went during spring break for California and a lot of stuff was closed. It's too bad the ice skating rink closed the weekend before. When we were there it was still very cold. Snowed one day. The pool, hot tub, sauna all worth it. We went every night. Downside it was farther away so we had to drive. Everything was farther and we had to drive. read more

We have winter vacationed here 5 times and there has been snow each and every time. Maybe we are just lucky, but hey we love it! We stayed in a chalet, which overlooked the golf course. Deer came up to the porch every day, and would eat our offerings right from the railing. We used the very large swimming pool, and the wife enjoyed the SPA. I actually thought the workout facility was nice for a resort, with plenty of options and machines. TV's as well. They also have a covered outdoor skating rink, what great winter fun. They have a nice resturant at the lodge, and free WIFI in the lodge. read more

Peaceful Loved our stay here at the WorldMark location. The view from our balcony overlooks a golf course and a trail that is an 8-mile walk. Lots of green trees and the area is so beautiful and peaceful. It is just outside the town of Klamath Falls. While it is in a quiet and secluded area away from the city it has all the comforts we come to expect from a WorldMark resort. The children enjoyed the indoor pool and the recreation area. It is one hour away from the Lava Beds National Monument and 1.5 hrs away from Crater Lake NP. Not enough time... we have to come back here. There are plenty of restaurants around the resort if you don't feel like cooking. There is a Wal-Mart and Safeway nearby! There are little bugs called midges. Although they can be pests they are totally harmless. They are attracted to light so don't leave your doors or windows open at night or you will have lots of company. Review #0226 read more

We arrived early & I understand I have to wait until the 4pm check in but this people told me to wait 15 mins more because the room is not ready yet. 20 mins had passed & I called again to check in again, they said to wait another 15 mins, until I waited for an hour! I was really frustrated and they were saying I should blame COVID for the housekeeping being so slow. I mean, they should know people needs to rest after a long travel too & expects them to be ready at check-in time! And pls don't blame COVID for it, blame your system! read more

I will be posting photos soon on this place, but I must say, its a very beautiful resort and has everything you could want! We didnt get it this stay but love the jetted tub in some the rooms here. Like most Worldmark properties, this has all you need, a full kitchen, washer/dryer and plenty of things to do while your staying here at Klamath Falls This stay they gave us a room on the 4th floor, dont worry though- this place does have elevators- Be pretty scary if it didnt! The last time we were here had a nice view of the golf course, if you like golf they have a great course here at the Running Y! And Creater Lake us nearby- if you go do that I would highly recommend a side trip to Toketee Falls This is the 3rd time I have been here, and love it, we will be back here when we can! read more

This resort is located far from town (about 8 miles) and is among pines. A nice golf course is situated very nearby. The resort staff is very friendly and helpful. Our 1-bedroom unit was spacious. It had DVD players with TV in bedroom and living room. If guests do not want their exercise on the golf course, there is a very nice exercise room, indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There are other sport courts outdoor (basketball, volleyball). The weather was nice during our stay, and we enjoyed a stroll on the paved path around the resort! Located an hour from Crater Lake National Forest makes it easy to hop in the car and go visit the sites there! There is a little market on site, but Klamath Falls does have a Super WalMart for grocery shopping. read more

Stayed here with the family. This place is Ok. We're accustomed to staying in world-class resorts and this is not one. the room and grounds are adequate. Nothing special. Nothing wrong either. The gym is probably the best part. The activity center will let you borrow tennis, pickle ball, basketball equipment for free but you have to pay for bikes, billiards, air hockey, and video games. Sun deck is nice and pool is fun but the pool is indoors. good for winter but not great when it's 80 degrees and you want to be outside. Maybe should build a pool outside too. read more

What a great resort! We checked in and found the staff to be extremely helpful. We stayed in a two bedroom and it was very spacious! The living area is large, the master has a comfortable bed and the kids room came with two twin beds. There are great walking trails around the property. The pool is wonderful! There is even a workout facility. I noticed a playground for the kids but it's been chilly this week so we didn't take advantage that. I would definitely come here again! read more

Definitely one of my favorite worldmarks. Great kocation, the staff is super friendly, and there are many nice stores and restaurants located in the same Plaza area. The pools and amenities are great. They also have an on site day spa. read more

We stayed here over Christmas break and it was nice. The resort is very spread out however, to where the main check in area and sports center are 10-15 minute walks, especially in the snow. Unfortunately, there aren't too many things to do in the Klamath Falls area. There's a great snow sledding area not far from the resort and Crater Lake might be a nice day trip, if the roads aren't closed during winter. Otherwise, its up to you to make the best of it. It was still very nice to experience a new location for a bit and see how this place gets by. It is still worth checking, especially if you're within a day's drive from the resort. read more

Just got home from a weekend getaway at the Running Y, and the experience was stupendous. Check-in and check-out took SECONDS, every staff person we encountered was incredibly polite and accommodating, and the room was clean and spacious, and adorably decorated with country/cabin type taste. Our squad of 4 took full advantage of their enormous pool area, including hot tub and sauna, as well the views of the lake and golf course from our very own balcony. There are walking/hiking trails surrounding, and there's plenty to do nearby. Running out of ideas? Call the check-in counter, or go to it, and the charming staff will delightfully provide you with a plethora of options tailored to your taste. Regardless of whether you're a farmland inhabitant or a city-slicker, anyone seeking a refreshing retreat into a countryside paradise away from the madness of the city will find great satisfaction here. This hotel is quite the drive off the beaten path into winding roads, through small-town quiet neighborhoods, and into a gorgeous estate where the atmosphere is simply invigorating and restorative. Any request we made for supplies was endorsed quickly, and the grounds here are kept spotless. I find it hard to believe it's considered a 3 star hotel, because I had a 5 star stay that was both luxurious and renovating. Our 1st stop in Oregon for our one week Oregon trip from California. We stayed here as Worldmark/Wyndham owner. Great place to stay: 1. Very comfy condo with full kichen/washer/dryer, good size of living room/bedroom/bath 2. Live on 3rd floor with elevator for the building 3. Walking distance from the building to Worldmark office/market/fitness center/shops 4. Swimming pool water is very warm, sauna/hot tub are next to it 5. Close (1 mile) to the Running Y golf course which is a good course (much better than Harbor one) 6. Wine tasting on site is cool 7. Charger for electric car (Tesla 26 miles/h, need over nigth charging) 8. Service is great 9. 1h drive to Crater Lake ...... We will come back again for sure, when it is warmer. It snows for the end of March, little surprised. read more

Awesome location and very relaxing place to spend a few days. A little isolated and about 10 miles from town restaurants and shops. It will be nice if the store locations in front of the resort ever get filled. The general store went out of business and the only remaining store was the liquor store which did sell some food items. read more

Had a wonderful time, great accommodations, only mar was young parents allowing child under 6 ( 3-4yr) into hot tub even thru sign was posted on rail. When parents were informed they indicated to us to mind our own business, I informed them I was a nurse and this was a safety issue for the child, told me not to be upset and again mind my own business...I got out of tub to have front office people talk to parents. They were out of tub when staff walked thru but allowed child back in once staff were out of sight. People in hot tub stated child was also in sauna with parents...what are the cameras up front for?? Again safety!! Staff need to watch cameras and enforce safety rules!!! read more

Great for families including a lot of activities on site. The rooms were comfortable and well stocked with necessities in the kitchen. The murphys bed in the living room was surprisingly comfortable and the room was very clean. The downside is the additional charge for WIFI as well as the putting course. The area is pretty and super close to Klamath Lake and about an hour from the beautiful Crater Lake. read more

Worldmark doesn't disappoint yet again! Always clean and well stocked. This is a huge complex full of privately owned homes, other rentals and Worldmark. We rented a 3 bedroom chalet and it was like a little house. Hot tub on deck is checked on daily by the staff to ensure it is clean and full. Deer come up to your deck daily which was neat for the kids. There is a little liquor store in the complex as well as a restaurant in the hotel portion. Everything else is about a 15 min drive away, some stuff much farther. There is also a sports center in the complex but they are very strict, you have to sign in every time you go in and must show a room key, so no letting the kids swim alone at this place! They also watch you swim on cameras and the staff of the sports center (not Worldmark staff) came in and yelled at kids playing numerous times. We saw everything there is to possibly see in the area in a week so we probably won't be back but it is beautiful up there and we loved our stay! read more

This was our second visit here. The first was for two nights on our way home from Yosemite. We had always wanted to return and finally did this week. We booked a chalet and absolutely loved it. It was great to not have the noise of the occupants above running around. We were able to book one extra night so we wouldn't have to drive home on the Friday of Labor Day weekend. Due to last minute booking, we had to switch to another room in the main area. Oddly enough, the exact same room from 5 years ago. The staff was wonderful and moved our belongings for us while we visited Crater Lake for the day. The downside were all the bugs. It made it so we could not enjoy our deck at the chalet, nor the hot tub. Also, the shopping area appears to be almost abandoned. It is really sad to see that happening. read more

I have waited almost 2 weeks before writing this review hoping that the resort would change my view of their staff. However, nothing has changed since our stay. I will begin by stating that the resort itself is beautiful...no denying that. But my issue is with the staff and before writing this review, I have spoke to several of them including the manager. We stayed at the resort in one of their Worldmark condos. I inadvertently left a large cosmetics bag on the counter in the master bath. I am positive that I left it there and yes, I know that it is my responsibility to take all of my belongings when I leave. I called the front desk the evening of the same day that we had departed. I told them that I had left the bag in the room and was told that housekeeping had already left for the day and they would check in the morning and call me back. To make this long story shorter, I called them numerous times (8 -10 times) over the next week with promises of calling me back each time but could never get anyone to truly help me. I was told that they had to check with all the housekeepers (didn't they know which one cleaned the room), that the bag may have been put on "one of the vans" and not turned in yet, that they had to speak to all the inspectors (again, do they not know who inspected the room??), that the person that cleaned my room was a male and he wouldn't have any reason to take my cosmetic bag, and that the person that cleaned my room was a female and was on vacation. At this point, I am not sure what to believe. My issue is that someone in their staff is dishonest and is a thief and no one in management seems to be concerned. Again, I understand that it was my responsibility for my items but I guess I expect honesty from staff at Worldmark locations and was very disappointed that my concerns were not addressed in a timely manner or to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, I will never trust this resort again. read more

We have been to several Worldmark properties and must say this was one of the most beautiful properties we have seen. We enjoyed the long walks in the morning and having Crater Lake just 1 hour away. Only complaint was the Rec room, not enough space, trying to play pool 3ft away from arcade machine was challenging and ping pong outside in the wind was impossible. Very comfortable clean well maintained place. The rooms are lovely, we had a suite with a view of the golf course. Dog friendly with a lot of trails to walk on. Fitness center is clean and does have a lot of equipment. They are in need of some fresher mats though. The restaurant was surprisingly very good. They have a new chef and he does a great job. I had the chicken breast with risotto that was tender and delicious. My husband had the Kobe strip steak and it was outstanding, done to perfection. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was cold and the waitress assumed that we were having the buffet and never came over to us. My husband had to get up each time we wanted something. The night before the waiting staff was very attentive. I had the egg white frigate, it came to the table in the pas it was made in. Very good. All in all a place we would come back to. They have a lot to offer. read more
