It has all the comforts of home. Washer & dryer; dishwasher, etc. The only con - the televisions are small. 36" in living area and 26" in the bedroom. Worldmark Wyndham Running Y shares property with the Running Y Ranch Resort located in the Klamath Basin. Outdoor parking lot. Elevator and stairs. We would have enjoyed ourselves more had the weather been warmer. It's still winter with lows in the 30's and highs the high 50's most days.

This turned out to be the perfect resting point to enjoy a day driving through the Oregon Outback and then a day at Lava Beds exploring the lava tubes, with easy access to Klamath Falls museums. They are pet friendly, which was a must for us and charge a nominal fee (standard). We stayed 2 nights and I actually got one of my best nights of sleep here as their beds are super comfy. The couple that runs the place and lives on site are so sweet and welcoming... everything you read in the reviews about them is true! The little flower vase, in room coffee set up (really good coffee) and quaintness of all the little touches did not go unnoticed. Our room had a pretty large mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. Nice big area for your pups to sniff around as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We called ahead to let them know that we would be arriving late at night (please call them if you plan to check in after 8 pm) and the owner was nice enough to keep the motel room open for us. Our beds were very comfortable and the blankets were warm. The toilets are clean with hot water. There is wifi but we didn't have the password. There are a few picnic tables outside. The main lodge where the office is located has a dining area where you have access to a continental breakfast (toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, etc), and a community room which has a TV, pool table and the friendly family dogs. The whole set up is a family run business, which brings a sense of groundedness and kindness. Lava Beds is just a 15 min drive. Tule Lake wildlife refuge is just across the road. We booked this lodge because it was the only option but after having stayed here, I definitely recommend choosing them if you plan to spend a night or two in Tulelake.
