This is a great small park with excellent service and everything you could ask for and more. Mature trees, 2 dog parks (very well kept), nice restrooms with showers, playgrounds, pool, and store. As far as the Midges here in the summer, it is what it is. The staff can't do anything about them, and you just need to manage, or don't come this time of the year. Very close to shopping, restaurants, and downtown Klamath Falls. A little over an hour to Crater Lake. read more

Stayed at this KOA for 4 days. It's a real inconvenience that they only have one cabin with a bathroom( which was rented out by our family). This journey koa does cabins, spots for rv/ tents,have a pool, playground for kids, Gaga ball, tether ball, bathrooms with showers, sink outdoors, and a laundry room. The cabins were nice but they could use curtains. The deluxe cabin my family stayed in was nice, they let us use their bathroom for the shower and it was nice besides the pee smelling curtains ( seriously, get some plastic shower curtain liner for all the showers!) I would've gave a better rating but my nephew had experienced a rude worker ( some blonde hair chick working on 6/26/25 when he asked for a trash bag). I get it's a journey koa, a pit spot type of place but they can sincerely do better. read more

In all my KOA years (25) I have never had such an unpleasant experience! The girl at the desk was rude from the first word out of her mouth. We asked to stay in a completely EMPTY row and she refused us because we are a trailer, not a motorhome. We understood the reason but her rudeness forced us to cancel. At best an OK but tired KOA. RVs are jammed in close enough that you can reach out your window and shake hands with your neighbors RVs. Pass this one by if you can. Spotty weak WiFi rarely worked. We didn't realize that there was no pump out dump at our site. For $60!st the end of September you would think there would be. Since we have a camper van we only dump our tanks when we leave. It had rained the public dump site had puddles of water surrounding it. When I asked Savana the manager if I could simply dump my tanks at any of their many empty sites with dump outs she refused. We are members of KOA have stayed in many from AZ, CA, OR, WA. This location is in need of updates. Each site does not come with a Firepit as most of the other KOAs do. Not even a community kitchen to make up for the lack of facilities. The paved roads to access your site is in need of gravel. But most of all the staff of young men really lacked care and concern in the experience. Would likely not return. read more

Someone named 'Mike' apparently stayed at this KOA, but my phone number was put into their system. I started getting a lot of text messages about check in, etc. When I tried to let them know, they became snarky with me. 'Mike' isn't getting any messages and they don't seem to care to simply look him up using my phone number and correcting it. They then blamed me for getting the text messages despite my never having stayed there. If this is the level of customer service, I will NEVER stay there. ===== Quick follow up. 'Mike' next went to Central Oregon KOA and I began receiving texts from them. When I called them, they were very friendly, understood what I said right away and fixed the issue! Now 'Mike' will get his texts and I won't. It's nice to know some places care about their customers - this KOA appears to be the unfortunate exception. read more

We stayed here for one night, it was an easy stop off the highway. Small, but clean grounds and laundry room. Kelly at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The next morning when we got ready to leave, saw we had a flat tire on our truck. Before I even could ask, Kelly came over and told me that she spoke to the manager and no rush on checkout. We could check out late (no fees), to just take our time and get our tire all fixed. I was so grateful! Highly recommend this place! read more

We needed a place to stay overnight in Klamath during our road trip back home. We are not campers but couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the deluxe cabin here as a alternative to a hotel stay. Check in was easy and staff both friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept. The cabin itself was cozy and most importantly clean. My kids enjoyed the bunk area although one opportunity would be to install a fan in the space as it was somewhat stuffy. Plus to having air conditioning in the main space. Lovely private patio area with a grill. The grounds are near a main road so there is quite a bit of road noise but wasn't a turn off for us. read more

One of the nice things about KOA compared to other campgrounds is that there is consistency as you would expect with any brand. The bathrooms are fairly well maintained (I think others do better in this time of COVID) and it's going to be a pretty good spot if you have an RV. The heater in our cabin was a little odd - it was one of the oil radiator types and you can't feel heat like you can in others. TV placement in the cabins was a bit off too - it should be over the door so both beds could see it. There could be a bit more pavement too, but can't complain much with the location. Freddy's (Fred Meyer) is down Shasta Way, and plenty of other things are nearby. This was better than the Travelodge in town, and we'd stay here again. read more

I drove my motorhome from Southern California by staying in Walmart parking lots. Klamath Falls has one Walmart that does not allow overnight parking. I soon found the KOA campground and called before driving my motorhome to their location. The person who answered the phone was warm and receptive to my inquiries. It was only $42 for full hook-ups, piping hot showers (clean and heated), a laundry room, and mini-market. They have their own gas/diesel station with lower than average prices, along with propane. All of the employees were pleasant and knowledgeable. I had a wonderful restful stay. read more

Long pull thru sights. Beautiful creek runs through park. 50 amp service. Full hook ups. Store with all the essentials and some non essentials. Laundry room was one of the nicest one I've used at an RV park. 10 washers $2 for 30ish mins. 8 dryers $2 for 45 mins. You can add extra quarters for more time. Two more dryers are over sized. They are .25 for 5 mins. Very clean and decorated really cute. Quarters available in office/store. Restroom for guests is in the laundry building which currently closes at 6:30 pm. Second restrooms by office with showers. I never went in to see it. Nice employees. Propane and gasoline are available. Nice play ground. Two smallish dog runs. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. My only con was dogs running loose. I seen four different dogs running loose with o. One charged my dog. Owner was able to get dog under control. She had no leash. I reported the dog situation to office. Never had another problem. Wound stay here again. read more

I stayed in one of the cabins here. It was clean, and had exactly what's needed. A/C, TV, queen and bunk beds. It had a front porch with a double rocker, fire pit and BBQ. Very well kept. The bathrooms / showers were immaculate. Of course they are cleaned every hour. The employees are young, but operate like military cadets. Very impressed. Overall a great experience. The negative reviews are obviously from just negative people. Anyone can see that the owners and employees take pride in their work. read more

This KOA is great. It's right in town but still feels serene. There are these bugs called midges that are harmless but look like mosquitos and are everywhere. Was very pleased with our stay at the KOA. We were passing threw town and needed a place to stay so we stopped at the KOA. The staff was extremely friendly, the park was nice and clean, and they have a huge dog potty area. I will definitely be staying at the KOA next time I'm coming three town. read more

Bad news. This is a disgusting campground. Might as well camp in any city park. No greenery , and no river to see. It is just a dusty hole run by high school kids. There is no wifi here and the LTE network In this area is dead. Several obnoxious folks camped here playing punk rock and kicking up a lot of dust with their rigs. read more

Very clean bathrooms and laundry room. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Gas and propane are available on site. Agree spots are a little close but they have grass and flowers in between. We stayed for one night. The staff were friendly and very accommodating in making the reservation and in checking us in. The campground and site was clean and tidy. The RV sites are close to each other with just a small patch of grass between (too little to enjoyably use), the wi-fi did not work and the staff were not knowledgeable to solve the problem - they suggested it didn't work with Apple products. Finally, there were lots of bugs - no biggie, but annoying when walking in the grassy areas (we did receive a notice about how to deal with the bugs when we checked in). It is located off a busy city street in a bit of a "shady" neighborhood - walking distance to a shopping center and area with a few restaurants (pizza, fast food, Chinese). We choose to walk to dinner - aggressive unleashed dog across the public street started to come after us and was called back by owner - then a very near miss being run over by a speeding truck that ran the red light long after it changed (I was in nearing the middle of cross walk and had to leap out of the way!)....didn't feel good (or safe) about the neighborhood. We appreciated being able to park for the night but would not stay here as a vacation destination. read more

This is the best camping-in-a-town experience you can find, plus it's the cleanest campground I've ever stayed in. There are a lot of workers who are constantly maintaining the grounds. The laundry room was sparkling with plenty of washers and dryers. They offer gas and propane on site. There's enough space and greenery between sites. Here's the low-down on the local KOA. Pros: Within walking distance to shopping (Fred Meyer, Thunderbird, KMart, Michaels, etc) and a great bbq joint. Shady sites and a nice pool (full sun). The only campground in Klamath (others are located a ways out, like at Lake of The Woods or Fourmile Lake). Cons: Right next to the busiest bypass in KFalls. Right next to the stinky, bug-ridden canal. Gravel, dusty "playground" (more like a swing set, and I wouldn't let my kids play on it if I were staying here). read more

Nice park with a pool, dog walk easy pull thru parking, but the tiny flying things called midges were there 24/7 in swarms so annoying. They don't bite but I had them in my eyes, nose and ears while setting up our RV. If we stay there again, I'll ask about them before booking. read more

Been sitting here reading the reviews. I'm really not sure what all the complaining is about. We stayed here two night and enjoyed every minute of it. Staff was wonderful. Very helpful and generous. I have a 42 ft trailer and it took some maneuvering to get it parked. No big deal. Gravel spots wide enough for all the slides and hanging out. I guess it's what you make of it. Very impressed with this KOA. Only stayed one night, but wish we were staying longer. They have propane, diesel and regular gas. The store has everything you could need. Plenty of space between spots. Padded outdoor chairs provided with picnic bench and umbrella. We did not even notice the highway noise. We had two little dogs and the enclosed play area for them was perfect. I used the laundry room. It was sparkling clean, plenty of dryers and washers in great condition. We used the laundry room bathroom, sparkling clean. We took showers and found the restrooms to be sparkling clean as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. I am not sure what is different but the last time we were here we decided that dry camping at the casino would be better and this time the park is neat and clean and the staff are pleasant. We will use this park on our next trip through. Our site was tight but big enough for our 32' motorhome towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee and slides out. The driveways are smooth gravel is somewhat narrow. The cable TV and WiFi work well. The utilities are well placed and work well. read more

I would give more stars because the people running this place are so nice. However we winter camped here. With it being 17 degrees I was happy to pay to have hot showers and toilets. I even reserved a spot close to the shower/restroom. (With the freezing weather one can not hook up water and dump in travel trailers) Upon check in I was told the showers and restrooms close pat 6pm and reopen at 8am. This was a problem due to we had no toilet services from 6pm to 8am. I was told this was due to the homeless problem. They have coded locks on bathroom doors, so why not change the code so paying customers can use the bathrooms in the middle of the night? Stay away from the grouchy, short grey haired lady. You don't want to ask for anything from her. Everyone else is very nice and helpful. read more

I was able to make online reservations that was convenient. The pictures posted look better than it seems. They do have a small convenient store, laundry, nice staff, and close to all of the in-town stuff. We were put on an uneven pad with no trees and no place to have a campfire. The wifi would not connect. You could hear the busy street noise. Didn't seem like the greatest part of town. We ended up not staying and upgraded to Harriman Resort and RV. read more

Great for a stopover. There are two dog areas, people with dogs need to be responsible dog owners! Wanted to take my dogs to the front dog area but there were 6 dogs from one owner that were uncontrollable. Shouldn't there be a limit for # of dogs to one RV? As well as type? Otherwise we were pleased with the friendly check in and escort service, not to mention the chocolates for your pillows. They were also helpful in giving restaurant suggestions. read more

The young man who checked us in, (Andrew?) was helpful and eager to accomodate ... his coworker ... not so much. She was rude, rude, rude. The next day my husband complained to their boss about her treatment of us and her coworker . The boss seemed genuinely interested in dealing with the problem. The sites are close together but not unreasonably so. The park was clean, quiet, and convenient for an overnight stay. Many kids were having fun in the pool, as it should be. I love the little KOA store and the fact that they sell gas at a great price. We didn't need to look for a station. But beware, there are BUGS, BUGS, BUGS! Did I mention ... THE BUGS! OMG, the second the camper door opened, sone of the largest mosquitos I've ever seen beat us into the camper, but the problem is mostly at night. read more
