We stayed here for one night, it was an easy stop off the highway. Small, but clean grounds and laundry room. Kelly at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The next morning when we got ready to leave, saw we had a flat tire on our truck. Before I even could ask, Kelly came over and told me that she spoke to the manager and no rush on checkout. We could check out late (no fees), to just take our time and get our tire all fixed. I was so grateful! Highly recommend this place!

    Quaint spot!

We needed a place to stay overnight in Klamath during our road trip back home. We are not campers but couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the deluxe cabin here as a alternative to a hotel stay. Check in was easy and staff both friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept. The cabin itself was cozy and most importantly clean. My kids enjoyed the bunk area although one opportunity would be to install a fan in the space as it was somewhat stuffy. Plus to having air conditioning in the main space. Lovely private patio area with a grill. The grounds are near a main road so there is quite a bit of road noise but wasn't a turn off for us.

I drove my motorhome from Southern California by staying in Walmart parking lots. Klamath Falls has one Walmart that does not allow overnight parking. I soon found the KOA campground and called before driving my motorhome to their location. The person who answered the phone was warm and receptive to my inquiries. It was only $42 for full hook-ups, piping hot showers (clean and heated), a laundry room, and mini-market. They have their own gas/diesel station with lower than average prices, along with propane. All of the employees were pleasant and knowledgeable. I had a wonderful restful stay.

Long pull thru sights. Beautiful creek runs through park. 50 amp service. Full hook ups. Store with all the essentials and some non essentials. Laundry room was one of the nicest one I've used at an RV park. 10 washers $2 for 30ish mins. 8 dryers $2 for 45 mins. You can add extra quarters for more time. Two more dryers are over sized. They are .25 for 5 mins. Very clean and decorated really cute. Quarters available in office/store. Restroom for guests is in the laundry building which currently closes at 6:30 pm. Second restrooms by office with showers. I never went in to see it. Nice employees. Propane and gasoline are available. Nice play ground. Two smallish dog runs. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. My only con was dogs running loose. I seen four different dogs running loose with o. One charged my dog. Owner was able to get dog under control. She had no leash. I reported the dog situation to office. Never had another problem. Wound stay here again.

This KOA is great. It's right in town but still feels serene. There are these bugs called midges that are harmless but look like mosquitos and are everywhere. The bathrooms were well maintained and constantly cleaned. There is some kind of air field nearby because it was non stop planes during the night which was annoying. I would stay again

You would think they would have have a nicer road for this campsites beside gravel.

She said she would come get us in 10 or 20 minutes which she never did. When I asked what happened 45 minutes later as we waited she became combative. Told me I couldn't expect a window tabke on Memorial Day when she just told us we could get one if we waited ten or 20 minutes. She was ridiculous, telling me there were no window tanked available, when I had a reservation AND waited per her instructions. It ruined my husband's birthday. The host there was rude and condescending when we just wanted the table we reserved and waited for. Wish I had gotten her name, but we just left pissed off. You know what? Maybe don't put a child there? With no manners. It's not the first time it's happened to us either. It's a bad look for LOW and it ruined my husband's birthday for no reason. She told us 10 to 20 minutes. Then she was pissed that we wanted the table we reserved. Were are disappointed because we are locals who go there all the time. What utter bullshit. That host cost you money. I hope you at least talk to the person. She has a bad attitude and we did not. I guess she was freaked out because it was busy? Whatever it was, she was inappropriate and ruined our day. Will start going to Harriman's or the Running Y. They are decent and respectful to people. Christ! Do something. Thank you!

To be fair, this was one of the busiest weekends I've ever seen there. As a business owner myself, I understand that on extremely busy days things don't always go as planned, and because of that I was willing to overlook quite a bit. We stayed in Chipmunk Condo Cabin #3. The cabin had a musty smell and a very small bathroom. The beach area was great for families, and my daughter absolutely loved it. The biggest issue was the food and customer service. Around 2 PM on our first day, we stopped to get pizza for lunch while waiting for our cabin and found out they were already sold out. Since there aren't many nearby dining options, I stopped by the lodge around 6:45 PM to specifically ask when they stopped seating guests. The two younger employees seemed annoyed and unsure but eventually told me the last seating would be at 7:45 PM. I explained that I was traveling with my wife, a 2-year-old, and a 3-month-old, and that driving an hour to Ashland or Klamath Falls for dinner wasn't ideal. We hurried back to the cabin, got ready, and returned around 7:35 PM, only to be immediately told they couldn't seat us because they were too busy and had a large party. My question was simple: Why wasn't I told that when I specifically came in earlier to ask? Had they explained the situation, I would have gladly come sooner. After asking to speak with a manager, who never actually came out, we were suddenly able to be seated. Once inside, there were several empty tables available, which made the whole situation even more confusing. Our server seemed annoyed from the moment we sat down. We decided to order our food to go instead of dining in, and even that seemed to bother him. When I politely provided feedback about the miscommunication, his response was essentially, "Well, we got you seated, didn't we?" That completely missed the point. The issue wasn't whether we eventually got a table. The issue was being given incorrect information and then nearly being turned away despite arriving before the stated seating cutoff. The next morning, we discovered mice had chewed through snacks we had left on the kitchen counter overnight. There are no cabinets available to store food. When I reported it, the manager apologized and explained that even the cabin she lives in on-site has mice because they're in the forest. While that explanation makes sense, it didn't make my wife feel any better with a 3-month-old baby sleeping in the cabin. The second day, pizza was available for lunch and was actually very good. The older gentleman working there was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, when we returned around 6 PM for dinner, pizza was sold out again. My wife then tried ordering dinner to go from the lodge and was given a completely different takeout menu that excluded many of the better dinner options, including items we had ordered to go the night before. When she asked if she could order from the regular dinner menu, she was told absolutely not. The inconsistency made no sense. At that point, we'd had enough. Between the restaurant issues, the mice, and the overall lack of customer service, we decided to cut our trip short and leave a day early. The lake and beach are beautiful and have the potential to make this a great family destination. Unfortunately, poor communication, inconsistent service, restaurant issues, and mice in the cabins overshadowed what could have been a wonderful stay. Mice may be part of being in the woods, but regular preventative pest control inside the cabins would go a long way toward making guests feel more comfortable.

But if you are looking for a cute, one of a kind place to camp, come to Heartline Ranch. The camp offers tipis that to stay in, with sleeping bags and pillows provided. You can even have a campfire in the middle of your tipi! If you have horses, you can board them also, or take a guided trail ride. Located 30 minutes outside of Crater Lake National Park, it's a great place to stay if you want to camp without the hassle of setting and taking down your tent There are few things that I would have changed. Instead of the folding cushions they use as mattresses, I would have preferred a real camp mattress. I am also not a huge fan of port a potties, but they do keep them clean as possible. Honestly, the lack of plumbing is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. They have a shower setup and after a day of hiking, it felt wonderful. While I felt it was a little expensive, I would still go back and stay again.

The Tee Pees were really well received by my 4, 9 and 13 yr olds. They have 5ish couch like pillows or mattresses which I slept on great! The hosts delivered wood, opened the smoke hole thingy on the Tee Pee and left is alone! I don't like helicopter hosts so that was great. They give you their phone number and tell you to call if you want any thing or have any questions. I had great cell service the whole time. There were wild strawberry bushes with flowers all over... in a few weeks campers will find a ton of fresh, wild strawberries (June 20). The hosts gave me a mosquito repellant ring to burn for mosquitos but I never used it. We did get attached for about 30-60 minutes which is typical in Oregon woods but it was not overwhelming. Proper long clothing and some good mosquito spray will do the trick. We used organic, natural chemical free bug sticks and sprays because my wife doesn't want to give the kids cancer and of course it didn't help us at all... so we got a few bites and have a low chance of getting cancer! If a few bug bites are a deal breaker camp in a hotel! I'm not a cowboy but I did care for and trail ride horses in high school. I felt like the horse riding was very safe and very considerate of their horses (one horse had a sore frog [rock bruise] so they decided that horse would not be rode). I felt like the horses are cared for like part of the family... which is good. A criticism - It's a family run business so if you have an itinerary that has every minute counted for you'd better free up some time for some inefficient horse prep! I wouldn't schedule dinner with the Crater Lake Lodge for 6PM if you have a 2hr ride scheduled at 3PM.. I'd schedule for 8PM and have a beer/ glass of wine while making up the time difference. Come on - if you are in Chiloquin, Oregon I hope it's to slow it down and relax!! Cowboy bob and Company are a 5 star in https://vimeo.com/350189379
