We were in the 1 bedroom cabin (cabin 1). The site does state that it is rustic, but I would have thought for $160/night, it would have air conditioning in 98 degree weather. We had to keep the windows open all the time which wouldn't have been an issue if the screens on the windows actually fit. The mosquitoes and bugs are horrible here as this place is right on the water and they slipped right through where the screens didn't fit. We ended up using the bathroom Hand towels to try to close the gaps a little bit. The toilet ran constantly while we were there which made it a little hard to sleep in addition to the heat. The shower drain did not drain well and we were standing in about an inch of dirty water Anytime we took a shower. They did have a kitchen with basic necessities, but also had a sign in the bathroom that said not to use the towels for cleaning, but then didn't leave any kind of towel, washcloth, or paper towels in the kitchen. We did eat at the restaurant on site and while the food was OK, the service was terrible. There was only one server on each night and over the weekend It was pretty busy. While the servers were nice and did their best, you could tell they were overwhelmed. The restaurant is also warm as there's no air where the tables are either. Overall, we still liked our stay here, even with all the negatives because it was in the trees and we felt like we were at camp. The staff were all nice and friendly and our day out on the pontoon boat was pretty awesome. If you don't mind, rustic and hot, go ahead and book here in July.

    No toilet paper.

Still zero response. Appalling. Do not come here. Do not waste your money. Non ADA compliant. I mean, how can you say you are a business that promotes family and being a "best kept secret...the secret is out, the trailer park tenants have the better view and do not have any "standards" like HOA to live here. Cops called for unruly trailer tenants with blue tarps on their roofs. Cops called on trailer tenants who have the better view than you. Disgusting.

Excellent location and friendly staff. In room heater didn't work, but a space heater was provided and warmed the room up well after a couple hours. Tv didn't really work (kept saying no signal even though it is connected to the wifi), but you can borrow a dvd from the camp store if you want a relaxing night in. Took a long time for water to warm up for hand washing and showers. The restaurant is very good for dinner and the views are stunning.

Funky rustic run down little Rv fishing resort. The little room we had was at first we thought really cute and just fine for us...the room seemed clean. There is a very unorganized little store....and the restaurant/bar. Restaurant keeps odd hours and the food was just ok....service just ok.... Prices are high. Upper Klamath lake is more like a swamp at this time of year ( summer) ....I will warn you there are literally SWARMS of mosquitoes....we were eaten alive even with Deet repellent we were chewed up! The bugs are thick at the little motel room area where we stayed. The hand railings are all very old and too low, nothing it seems is up to code. If you are disabled beware because there is no ADA code ramps or anything. No swimming here due to algae....don't let your dogs drink any lake water, the contaminants from the algae can be deadly. After the first night sleeping in our room I developed a rash on my left leg, we both felt something was not right, bedding was either not clean at check in or? The views are great at restaurant but not the rooms, you see RV's. It's an inexpensive place to go but the drawbacks for us are just too many.

I know there are some mixed reviews of this place, but I have to say my experience was five stars. I did a single night stay in the winter, so I can't speak on all of the amenities. They were quick to communicate via text outside of office hours. They unlocked my room for me and even turned on the heater. The small business feel was exactly what I needed. They recommended watching the sunrise on the lake. And even in 13° weather, it was worth it! I would definitely recommend if you need a simple stay with personable communication.

Sweet RV park right on the Upper Klamath Lake NWR. Family friendly, with boat rentals and access for your own boats. Clean restrooms and showers. Not really for tent campers. All sites have power. Not a lot of privacy. Excellent paddling options from this location! Also a great birding spot!

Came here last minute on a drive from Oregon back to California. We just wanted a quit relaxed place to stay in nature and this spot does the trick. We stayed in one of the hotel room options. They also have RV hookups, tent spots, cabins, and even a large rental house too. They have a restaurant too that we ate at that had good apps and burgers.

I stayed at one of the tent sites along the water here. Check in was simple and you can basically park at your camp site. At the camp site there's running water (nearby), a fire pit and picnic table with benches. You could probably fit 3 single/double tents in one spot with a car, but it would be crowded. There was a ton of mosquitos so be aware of that. The bathroom and showers near the store at the center of resort are clean and warm. The restaurant is kind of a miss besides the view of the lake. Service is very friendly, but they run on less than a skeleton crew which means the menu will be limited (they had one set breakfast when I went there regardless of their menu) and the service will be slow since there's like two staff total. The food was fine otherwise. I guess one thing I could not overlook were the huge amount of dead mosquitos and flies on the window sill next to my table, which was pretty gross. We also rented some kayaks which was fine if slightly pricey. Originally we wanted to rent a motor boat, but be aware they did not let you pilot those even if you have a boaters card which was disappointing. I'd stop here again if needing a cheap place to stay near crater lake. I'd just skip the restaurant and come more prepared to cook.

Room size was generous, with all amenities Exceeding my expectations & this mom to 4 children has some pretty HIGH expectations. This time I booked through Extra Holiday Reservations driving home from Eagle's Crest Worldmark in Redmond (that was a doozy). I had made accommodations at Homewood Inn Suites in Medford to breakup the drive back to So.Cali. I used Hilton Honors points to book but it got dark on me & I am not down to drive during night through woods in winter weather. So I checked at Running Y & got a Great price for 2bedroom 2bth suite, fully stocked kitchen & balcony. 2 night minimum & I was happy! Instacart delivers here! All staff members are so VERY kind & helpful. Shannon, Mackenzie, Issac & the 2 gentlemen at the Sport's Center, along with pool facilities staff. Personable, down to earth GEMS with impeccable assistive service. The resort grounds refresh my spirit! The ice skating rink is SO MUCH FUN, along w/hiking trails, basketball/tennis courts. I just love it here and so do my 4 children !

It has all the comforts of home. Washer & dryer; dishwasher, etc. The only con - the televisions are small. 36" in living area and 26" in the bedroom. Worldmark Wyndham Running Y shares property with the Running Y Ranch Resort located in the Klamath Basin. Outdoor parking lot. Elevator and stairs. We would have enjoyed ourselves more had the weather been warmer. It's still winter with lows in the 30's and highs the high 50's most days.

And if she's not the manager or the night manager, she should be! I booked this hotel on my way through Oregon through the IHG app. I like the IHG group of hotels and I had no issues with this hotel it's exactly what you would expect from IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express. But will really set this place apart was, again, Cynthia! When I showed up she was friendly and courteous. There were other people waiting to check in and she handled all of our tasks professionally and deftly, I wasn't waiting for very long! Then, there was an issue with my room and Cynthia was able to accommodate me getting into a different room. Then I made a mistake with my key card and Cynthia helped me out with the most wonderful attitude. And finally helped me get settled into my room for the night. Checking into hotel can be stressful, especially when there's something that goes wrong, and especially when you make a mistake with misplacing your key card. Cynthia took all the stress out of that situation and really helped me out. The breakfast in the morning was a little limited, but the server was very friendly and helpful! So again, this hotel is great, but the star of the show here is definitely Cynthia!

I'll come back to that, the rooms were supposed to be two kings, but were actually two doubles, the toilet was loose and slid around, the coffee maker didn't work, there was no soap in the public bathroom, the breakfast was cold and terrible, bacon tasted like it was pre-salted. you could not eat it! only one coffee machine worked in breakfast room and lastly the hot tub had so much chlorine it burned your eyes sitting in it. I am not going into Stephanie again, but just know that because of her attitude the IGH hotel app gave me a free night anywhere globally. Thank you Joy for being a nice person who should be in customer service because you are great!
