Comfortable bed/room, nice staff. New carpet. Would definitely stay here again if the need to be closer to Crater Lake came up.

This was an interesting experience. Most of the staff was very friendly and it was nice they actually patrol the parking lot at night. The continental breakfast was a little more substantial than I would have thought for a small hotel/motel like this. The rooms are decently clean, but definitely aged. Normally, if I needed it, I'd ask for a late checkout, but I had to be somewhere at noon. I wasn't expecting to hop on a video conference right before the 11am check out but I figured I could use the WiFi and run a few minutes over. Apparently, one woman was so anal, she knocked on our door right at 11 and gave me a dirty look when I told her I needed a minute. When I realized the call was going to be much longer than expected, I left at maybe 11:07. Then around 11:30, I got another call asking when I'd be out of the room...after I already left. When I said I had left just a few minutes after she had come by, it was as if she didn't believe me. It was just an odd interaction to conclude a long drive from Washington on the way back to California after an already long week. I think I'll choose another hotel next time. This one just seemed convenient for my appointment. Again, the rest of the staff was very courteous, just not this woman. read more

I've stayed here before 2 times prior to this trip, I booked with Expedia for 2 rooms and when I got here I was told it was for only one room because Expedia canceled it. At least that's what I was told, so we ended up with one room and 3 beds for an extra $100. The first night shower was messed up, and the charger didn't work because you have to flip the light switch. This time around I'm really disappointed by the fact they don't clean your rooms without you going to the front and asking. I stayed 4 nights and not one turn down. The breakfast sucks and is only cold Options. The hotel is old as dirt and has no new renovations, yes the pricing is cheap but I won't be staying here again. Beds are old, make noises when you move, the walls are dirty, the bathroom is growing mold, I honestly don't think anyone really cleans here. You can see the dust on the lamps and light fixtures. It is a convenient place due to the location. They do have a lot of parking and a pool that is heated which is weird when the weather is 80-90 degrees during the summer. There are a lot of homeless people around here and behind the rooms I did take a picture. It sucks when you can't leave windows open because you don't want to hear or see them. I did see a lot of people staying here smoking outside of the rooms or near their cars. Which is not okay. I didn't like that the lady that works here sat down instead of getting up to greet you, I did ask if I can borrow a broom to clean our room and she said no. I don't see why that's an issue all I know is it left a sour taste in my mouth. It's unfortunate that Klamath doesn't have new upgraded hotels. read more

This motel has requires you to enter your rooms from the outside. There are 2 floors to which you have to climb stairs to the 2nd floor. No elevators. I've included photos to the cleanliness of our room. They have a heated pool outside on the property but we didn't get in until 10 pm so didn't get a chance to check it out. Only dogs are allowed here, they have free breakfast and I would say easy to park close to your room. I will say I LOVED that there's a Burger King and Starbucks in a short walking distance without crossing the street or driving! It's literally right outside my door from the room we are in. I'd say it's acceptable and definitely not the worse I've seen by far. read more

Room was clean, large and comfortable. I am Platinum with Marriott and usually stay there. Wasnt feeling well so surfed for a decent hotel at a decent price. Little nostalgic in lieu of 'needs upgrade'. TV had better channels than many marriotts i stayed it, had a little kitchenette with 2 burner stove, fridge with 2 trays of ice waiting for me (not your thing, make new ones, freezer works fast) hot comfortable shower and LED lights all over to give you ample lighting. While i may never pass through KF again, this place is a place worth staying. read more

Out of desperation I had to stay here for the night. Now I have to say this place wasn't the worst place I've had to stay over the years but it's up there. It was loud and noisy. The people here seemed a little suspect to say the least and the room just felt like it needed a good cleaning. I wouldn't recommend staying here but as a wise man once said you get what you pay for! Not like there's much options here in Klamath Falls to begin with. read more

This is a great place in the middle of town, close to everything. Even being in the middle of town, it's quiet in the rooms with the windows closed. The property is mostly asphalt except for the pool area and a bit of grass if traveling with pets. Easy access and good parking for large vehicles, RVs and trailers. Well lit parking lot with lots of cameras. Burger King, Jimmy John's, and Starbucks in walking distance. Room for as clean. Pool is heated and clean. Very nice breakfast setup in the mornings. read more

It was very clean! The Breakfast was great and everybody was nice! They were super kind to accommodate us late at night!

Very well run motel. Room was clean and as large as many flag hotel rooms. Excellent value.

In my opinion it wasn't worth it, if i went back go Klamath Falls I would stay somewhere else. Front door was pretty hard to open. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Shower was kinda janky, the pressure was okay, but the water temperatures were opposite of what they said they were, lowkey dirty too. The phone didn't work very well, it said press 0 for front desk and wouldn't work. They do have a pool and free breakfast though. Staff were nice. read more

nice place, hope it has not changed. bed could be softer, but large rooms and its quiet.

I have never had to stay in such a garbage hotel run by such shady management. Avoid at your own peril. Our room was gross, smelly, run down, and noisy. Plus, they had the boldness to charge us a $200 fine based on some made-up fiction about hair dye in the bathtub. My partner and I haven't used hair dye in probably 15 years! Looking at the reviews I also noticed that we are not even the first victims of this scam. I have never stayed at a hotel where I actually felt like I was being swindled before, but now I know such places exist. This is an unforgivable betrayel of the trust of unsuspecting guests. Please take your business elsewhere for your own good! read more

I am glad I only stayed here one night. The room was dirty including hair in the shower. The tv picked up only several stations. The door didn't feel safe security wise. Cimarron Inn gets the two stars for being convenient along 6th street and for the Starbucks location next door. read more

Forced to cancel our reservation at this hotel because the air quality is unhealthy and unsafe due to nearby wildfires. Cleared the no-fee cancellation with the third party booker (hotels.com). Yet Cimarron still tried to charge us. That's some shady stuff right there. read more

My daughter and I stayed here during our most recent trip to Klamath falls. Cimarron Inn is in a good location next to plenty of places to eat and shopping. The room itself is old and not very clean at all. We found multiple bugs in the bed, and everything just felt really dirty. You could see dust all over the ceilings and I don't believe the shower was cleaned out prior to us arriving because we found hand sanitizer in there. The bed sheets had stains on them, and had us feeling really itchy the entire night. It is quite noisy and can hear the doors closing and commotion from people near by. Overall, I think the location is good and breakfast in the morning is a huge plus when you're on the go, but I don't think we'll book here again. I included the picture of the hand sanitizer that was left in the shower- I do hope that it's hasn't been left there since 2021 ‍ read more

July 6, 2024 The desk clerk was a total a$$. Had reservations through Booking only to get jacked around at the property because Booking did not ask us to complete a form. That made no sense. Then when we asked to see the form or where it required such the a$$ refused service. read more

This is a great stay when on a budget! We booked for our last minute weekend trip to Klamath. Rooms are spacious, clean, and beds are very comfortable. The only downfall was that the front desk told us continental breakfast was served until 10am but the cut off was actually 9am. We saw three other families come down at like 9:45 to eat, and everyone was turned away because some employee told everyone the wrong time! We enjoyed breakfast at a local restaurant instead. We would definitely stay here again. read more

This rating is both for the motel and the amazing lady that works there 'Connie'. Cimarron is a nice place to stay as it is close to so many good restaurants and cafe. Rooms are nice and clean too. All amenities were fully functional. Shout out to Connie who helped us with changing our room as soon as she heard the challenge we had (and it was a very minor one) but that's how customer centric she is. She was very descriptive and clear in all the information I asked for. Will stay here again if I happen to visit Klamath falls. read more

The property's location and the room itself were presented as strategically secure. I appreciated the level of customer service provided and found the breakfast satisfactory. Might not be worth $100 /night on a weekend for some people. You could easily stay in motel 6 to save some cash or go to Holiday Inn with better furnishings for nearly same price. This place takes lessons from the Best Western Playbook. Value motel with a few added perks. One thing I will mention about the price; sometimes paying a bit more keeps the motel riff-raff out even though the rooms themselves aren't worth the money. So this could easily be considered an extra door fee to keep the environment more friendly and welcoming. I stay here because dogs are allowed and the continental breakfast is adequate. This is a huge plus, as many motels are not dog friendly or offer breakfast. Front door: weird punch card lock, chain link security opener Bed: firm, comfy-enough Pillows: very comfy Amenities: fridge, microwave, very small tv (basic cable, no more than 28", no HD, it's damn fuzzy!), coffee maker DID I MENTION THE TV PICTURE IS FUZZY?! Bathroom: cleanliness. Toilet size: standard Soaps: standard Shower head -works Interior decor: Carpet, Fabrics, Furnishings, overall design is early 90's light Oak, it's dated Exterior grounds: Parking lot is very dark at night. We got a king size suite and loved our room and the bed was comfortable . The price was fair. Got up the next morning and left and realized we left our teddy bear. We've had him through many adventures for many, many years. His name is lucky. So we drove from Klamath falls zip line back to find him. He was in the laundry having a spa day. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They found him. He may be just a teddy bear to everyone else, but he's part of our family. I appreciate the kindness and understanding that the staff showed. We decided to spend a second night. Had a great dinner at the Black Bear diner. Thank you for a great trip. read more

Not bad for the price. The room was rather old and worn and the door was a bit difficult to open at times, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Customer service was good and the breakfast was better than expected; their website only says continental breakfast but they actually serve a full hot breakfast. 3.5 stars read more

Let me start with saying the staff earned a 5. They were helpful and friendly. Check in was smooth and easy. They gave us a king sized room on the first floor and advised us about local restaurants. When I complained about the shower not draining they offered to have someone fix it or swap rooms, which we did. The room was functional. The shower did not drain although it had great water pressure. The decor of the room was tired. Otherwise it was clean as was the second room we were given. It was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were the standard, scrambled eggs, sausage, baskets and gravy. Cold cereal, bread and waffles. There was no fresh fruit available. They also had a selection of Yami Yogurt. Fortunately there was a Starbucks two doors down so I could get my coffee. read more

The exterior is decent but the rooms are not good at all, especially for the price. Very noisy, outdated, not very clean or taken care and I paid a 4 star price. Our boys went to go swimming and there was a bat in the pool (at 9pm), it did fly away but they wouldn't swim after that. I can't express how old and dingy the rooms look...at the price you pay for a room they should be taking some of that money and putting it back into the rooms. This is a 1-2 star motel from someone who travels quite a bit. Beds were noisy and old...bedding was old and not comfortable with stains on the comforter...nothing comforting about the room. read more

I'm all about good business. This hotel is not. They will not match the booking price that comes up when you search on google maps. That's false advertising. And quite frankly with all due respect fuck your business and the bus you rode in on. You business is being advertised on google. A good business that wants customers would not of hesitated to match that price. I'm sure the hotel is nice. But not the owner read more

I had a hard time deciding whether to give this place 2 or 3 stars... Ultimately decided to be generous and give it 3 stars because there were a few things wrong with our experience here, but we've definitely stayed in worse places. We had 2 rooms and neither room was very clean. They weren't the dirtiest, but it was similar to doing the bare minimum to make the room look somewhat presentable. One particularly gross problem on this front was that a previous guest's leftovers were still in the fridge. And of course, in 2020, any lack of cleanliness should sound an alarm. Klamath Falls in general seemed like one of those communities who don't believe COVID-19 is real, or at least don't take it seriously. Between Cimarron Inn, 2 restaurants, and a gas station we visited, there were many ppl without masks and employees who begrudgingly put masks on when interacting with customers (one even told us that she wouldn't bother if her employer didn't make her). Anyway, back to Cimarron Inn specifically... Other problems: The laundry machines were broken and the hotel staff was a mixed bag of polite and rude. Some were fairly nice. Some were a little standoffish. All that being said, it wasn't all bad. The beds were fairly comfortable and we slept well. There was a pool that looked clean and would be fun to use in non-pandemic times, though it was crowded with people who don't care about pandemics. Overall, I give this something between 2 or 3 stars, something a little below average. If you're on a tight budget, this'll do without being the worst. But if you have high standards, you can definitely do better than this. I survived my time here, but if I'm ever in Klamath Falls again, I'm staying elsewhere. read more

First of all, this is a budget Motel. It's not a hotel and the price reflect the budget nature of it. That said- I will stay here anytime I'm passing through KF. The beds we SUPER COMFY!!! I didn't expect much, but the beds were as comfortable as any Marriott or Hyatt I've ever stayed in. The rooms are older, but they have everything you need and they are a nice size. Service was great! I highly recommend this place for anyone loo looking for a comfortable clean place to stay that won't give you "sticker shock". read more

In need of some attention on updating and deferred maintenance-- Staff was friendly but not really knowledgeable.

I stayed here July 22, 2021 on business. With overnight runs between Klamath Falls and Sacramento, we needed to rest during the day. The beds were comfortable and I slept quite well. Good blackout curtains kept the room dark. A/C worked well as did the refrigerator. The room was clean and included a microwave, coffee maker, and alarm clock. The bathroom and shower were well maintained and there was plenty of hot water. The staff was friendly and receptive. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Booked through hotels.com and paid for room on the site. Checked in at hotel and was required to put a "deposit" of 300.00 down for incidentals yet it was ran as a charge on my card instead of a pending. He was nice enough to say hotels.com says "incidentals" I'm pretty sure that people don't assume incidentals means 300.00 charge and the refund of the charge takes 7-10 days. Not worth it read more

Incredibly clean, good value; friendly staff, central location; we'll stay here again.

The Cimarron Inn in Klamath Falls is a well-maintained motel with decent rooms. We stayed here two nights when we visited Crater Lake (about 60 miles away). I'd never been to Klamath Falls, but I instantly liked this town. It's picturesque. Surrounding Klamath Falls are hills speckled with patches of evergreen trees. Nearby is the massive Upper Klamath Lake. Klamath Falls is at an elevation of 4,100', assuring that the summers are not blistering hot. The population is just over 20,000, meaning there are several restaurants to pick from while staying there, but traffic is modest. Rooms at Cimarron come with microwave, fridge, iron and ironing board. Sheets and towels were excellent. Our room's heating/cooling unit worked fine and was quiet. No rowdy guests around either. Though nothing fancy, the hotel offers a free self-serve breakfast. Cimarron's free Wifi is reasonably good too. If in the Klamath Falls again, we'd definitely stay at Cimarron Inn again. read more

Came here on Friday night and checked in around 12:30am. My friend checked in for two rooms and the front desk receptionist just took forever to check us in. I literally waited outside for 20 mins. When my friend asked for a veteran price because he saw on the window they offered that, she said only "active" people can get that price which doesn't make sense? She wouldn't give us the deal because we got the motel through a third party member. Seemed like she just didn't want to give us the deal. When we finally got to our room, I was very unimpressed. There were so many flies and mosquitos flying inside our room. We literally killed 5 flies. I even saw a dead moth inside our bathroom. My friend's mom came in and said there were two ants crawling on her bed. We called the front desk and told them about the situation and they offered to change rooms, which would be too much of a hassle because we were already settled. I barely got any sleep that night. Whenever the people up above us used the sink or bathroom, I could hear EVERYTHING. Literally sounded like somebody was in our room. We turned on the AC and it was just way too loud. Even when I tried to take a shower, the water would not drain. I'm highly disappointed about my stay here and I feel like they should've comped our room. We will not be returning here again. read more
