Out of desperation I had to stay here for the night. Now I have to say this place wasn't the worst place I've had to stay over the years but it's up there. It was loud and noisy. The people here seemed a little suspect to say the least and the room just felt like it needed a good cleaning. I wouldn't recommend staying here but as a wise man once said you get what you pay for! In my opinion it wasn't worth it, if i went back go Klamath Falls I would stay somewhere else. Front door was pretty hard to open. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Shower was kinda janky, the pressure was okay, but the water temperatures were opposite of what they said they were, lowkey dirty too. The phone didn't work very well, it said press 0 for front desk and wouldn't work. They do have a pool and free breakfast though. Staff were nice. read more

I have never had to stay in such a garbage hotel run by such shady management. Avoid at your own peril. Our room was gross, smelly, run down, and noisy. Plus, they had the boldness to charge us a $200 fine based on some made-up fiction about hair dye in the bathtub. My partner and I haven't used hair dye in probably 15 years! Looking at the reviews I also noticed that we are not even the first victims of this scam. I have never stayed at a hotel where I actually felt like I was being swindled before, but now I know such places exist. This is an unforgivable betrayel of the trust of unsuspecting guests. I am glad I only stayed here one night. The room was dirty including hair in the shower. The tv picked up only several stations. The door didn't feel safe security wise. Cimarron Inn gets the two stars for being convenient along 6th street and for the Starbucks location next door. read more

My daughter and I stayed here during our most recent trip to Klamath falls. Cimarron Inn is in a good location next to plenty of places to eat and shopping. The room itself is old and not very clean at all. We found multiple bugs in the bed, and everything just felt really dirty. You could see dust all over the ceilings and I don't believe the shower was cleaned out prior to us arriving because we found hand sanitizer in there. The bed sheets had stains on them, and had us feeling really itchy the entire night. It is quite noisy and can hear the doors closing and commotion from people near by. Overall, I think the location is good and breakfast in the morning is a huge plus when you're on the go, but I don't think we'll book here again. This is a great stay when on a budget! We booked for our last minute weekend trip to Klamath. Rooms are spacious, clean, and beds are very comfortable. The only downfall was that the front desk told us continental breakfast was served until 10am but the cut off was actually 9am. We saw three other families come down at like 9:45 to eat, and everyone was turned away because some employee told everyone the wrong time! We enjoyed breakfast at a local restaurant instead. This rating is both for the motel and the amazing lady that works there 'Connie'. Cimarron is a nice place to stay as it is close to so many good restaurants and cafe. Rooms are nice and clean too. All amenities were fully functional. Shout out to Connie who helped us with changing our room as soon as she heard the challenge we had (and it was a very minor one) but that's how customer centric she is. We got a king size suite and loved our room and the bed was comfortable . The price was fair. Got up the next morning and left and realized we left our teddy bear. We've had him through many adventures for many, many years. His name is lucky. So we drove from Klamath falls zip line back to find him. He was in the laundry having a spa day. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They found him. He may be just a teddy bear to everyone else, but he's part of our family. I appreciate the kindness and understanding that the staff showed. Might not be worth $100 /night on a weekend for some people. You could easily stay in motel 6 to save some cash or go to Holiday Inn with better furnishings for nearly same price. This place takes lessons from the Best Western Playbook. Value motel with a few added perks. One thing I will mention about the price; sometimes paying a bit more keeps the motel riff-raff out even though the rooms themselves aren't worth the money. So this could easily be considered an extra door fee to keep the environment more friendly and welcoming. I stay here because dogs are allowed and the continental breakfast is adequate. This is a huge plus, as many motels are not dog friendly or offer breakfast. Our boys went to go swimming and there was a bat in the pool (at 9pm), it did fly away but they wouldn't swim after that. Let me start with saying the staff earned a 5. They were helpful and friendly. Check in was smooth and easy. They gave us a king sized room on the first floor and advised us about local restaurants. When I complained about the shower not draining they offered to have someone fix it or swap rooms, which we did. The room was functional. The shower did not drain although it had great water pressure. The decor of the room was tired. Otherwise it was clean as was the second room we were given. It was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were the standard, scrambled eggs, sausage, baskets and gravy. Cold cereal, bread and waffles. There was no fresh fruit available. They also had a selection of Yami Yogurt. Fortunately there was a Starbucks two doors down so I could get my coffee. read more

I had a hard time deciding whether to give this place 2 or 3 stars... Ultimately decided to be generous and give it 3 stars because there were a few things wrong with our experience here, but we've definitely stayed in worse places. We had 2 rooms and neither room was very clean. They weren't the dirtiest, but it was similar to doing the bare minimum to make the room look somewhat presentable. One particularly gross problem on this front was that a previous guest's leftovers were still in the fridge. And of course, in 2020, any lack of cleanliness should sound an alarm. Klamath Falls in general seemed like one of those communities who don't believe COVID-19 is real, or at least don't take it seriously. Between Cimarron Inn, 2 restaurants, and a gas station we visited, there were many ppl without masks and employees who begrudgingly put masks on when interacting with customers (one even told us that she wouldn't bother if her employer didn't make her). Anyway, back to Cimarron Inn specifically... Other problems: The laundry machines were broken and the hotel staff was a mixed bag of polite and rude. Some were fairly nice. Some were a little standoffish. All that being said, it wasn't all bad. The beds were fairly comfortable and we slept well. There was a pool that looked clean and would be fun to use in non-pandemic times, though it was crowded with people who don't care about pandemics. Overall, I give this something between 2 or 3 stars, something a little below average. If you're on a tight budget, this'll do without being the worst. But if you have high standards, you can definitely do better than this. I survived my time here, but if I'm ever in Klamath Falls again, I'm staying elsewhere. read more

First of all, this is a budget Motel. It's not a hotel and the price reflect the budget nature of it. That said- I will stay here anytime I'm passing through KF. The beds we SUPER COMFY!!! I didn't expect much, but the beds were as comfortable as any Marriott or Hyatt I've ever stayed in. The rooms are older, but they have everything you need and they are a nice size. Booked through hotels.com and paid for room on the site. Checked in at hotel and was required to put a "deposit" of 300.00 down for incidentals yet it was ran as a charge on my card instead of a pending. When I question the 300.00 part the man at the front was so nice to say that it's all over their website yet we booked on hotels.com. He was nice enough to say hotels.com says "incidentals" I'm pretty sure that people don't assume incidentals means 300.00 charge and the refund of the charge takes 7-10 days. Not worth it read more

I stayed here July 22, 2021 on business. With overnight runs between Klamath Falls and Sacramento, we needed to rest during the day. The beds were comfortable and I slept quite well. Good blackout curtains kept the room dark. A/C worked well as did the refrigerator. The room was clean and included a microwave, coffee maker, and alarm clock. The bathroom and shower were well maintained and there was plenty of hot water. The staff was friendly and receptive. I would definitely stay here again. read more

The Cimarron Inn in Klamath Falls is a well-maintained motel with decent rooms. We stayed here two nights when we visited Crater Lake (about 60 miles away). I'd never been to Klamath Falls, but I instantly liked this town. It's picturesque. Surrounding Klamath Falls are hills speckled with patches of evergreen trees. Nearby is the massive Upper Klamath Lake. Klamath Falls is at an elevation of 4,100', assuring that the summers are not blistering hot. The population is just over 20,000, meaning there are several restaurants to pick from while staying there, but traffic is modest. Rooms at Cimarron come with microwave, fridge, iron and ironing board. Sheets and towels were excellent. Our room's heating/cooling unit worked fine and was quiet. No rowdy guests around either. Though nothing fancy, the hotel offers a free self-serve breakfast. Cimarron's free Wifi is reasonably good too. If in the Klamath Falls again, we'd definitely stay at Cimarron Inn again. read more

Came here on Friday night and checked in around 12:30am. My friend checked in for two rooms and the front desk receptionist just took forever to check us in. I literally waited outside for 20 mins. When my friend asked for a veteran price because he saw on the window they offered that, she said only "active" people can get that price which doesn't make sense? She wouldn't give us the deal because we got the motel through a third party member. Seemed like she just didn't want to give us the deal. When we finally got to our room, I was very unimpressed. There were so many flies and mosquitos flying inside our room. We literally killed 5 flies. I even saw a dead moth inside our bathroom. My friend's mom came in and said there were two ants crawling on her bed. We called the front desk and told them about the situation and they offered to change rooms, which would be too much of a hassle because we were already settled. I barely got any sleep that night. Whenever the people up above us used the sink or bathroom, I could hear EVERYTHING. Literally sounded like somebody was in our room. We turned on the AC and it was just way too loud. Even when I tried to take a shower, the water would not drain. I'm highly disappointed about my stay here and I feel like they should've comped our room. We had the following issues with our room: Very dirty and stained carpets; which appeared to be animal urine. Keep your shoes on! My dog found food on the floor in two locations; and consumed this old food. Not good. There were dozens of deceased bugs on the AC unit. I was told that the hotel staff was implementing an extra cleaning service of the rooms during COVID. This was not the case in room 211. I have made several attempts via phone and email to contact the manager, Kishan. He has been unresponsive. This leads me to believe that his priority is in collecting the customers money--and not customer service or room cleanliness and sanitation. PRO: Family size room was spacious read more

We stayed here for one night in July 2018 and it was so-so. The bathroom had some hair in it and the bedspread had a (small, but still noticeable) stain. It was fine for a night but it's always a little disappointing when a place still turns out to be $150 a night and you're left feeling underwhelmed. My #1 thing with hotels is cleanliness so this place didn't quite hit the mark. The stars are for the staff, who were very nice. I recently made two driving trips to California from Washington State. On the first trip, I shopped and scheduled it through Expedia and chose to stay at the Cimarron in Klamath Falls. In spite of double-checking dates, I arrived at the Cimarron in the evening only to find out that I had scheduled my stay for the night before and that I had no booking. The stay before was prepaid and I had missed it. Bummer! I fully expected to have to pay for another night. But Echo, the night manager, without me even asking, said, "Wait a minute, let me call the my boss." She made a phone call and then said, "We will just go ahead and comp you for this night for free since you already paid for a room and didn't get to use it." I was totally surprised by this. They voluntarily stepped up and owned the problem that I created. That is genuinely good customer service. So I got my room and stayed the night. Two weeks later, had to make another trip to California. This time I got all of the dates right and guess where I chose to stay again? That's right, at the Cimarron in Klamath Falls. Now about the stays. It is an older motel, maybe built in the late 1960's style. it's not my house, it's an overnight stay, so I do not need fancy, schmancy. Mostly i want clean, easy and affordable. Both times, my rooms were very clean, with shower, sinks, and toilet scrubbed. I checked. Beds are a very personal thing. What works for one will not work for another. Both times the beds worked very well for me and I do not usually sleep well at night. I found this to be a very comfortable place to stay. Good water pressure in the shower and lots of hot water. Yay! Starbucks and several fast food places are right outside the door. Plus, they serve an adequate motel breakfast to get you up and going. Echo also has a large pot of homemade soup in the lobby until 9:00 PM at night for folks who arrive hungry and just want something to tide them over until breakfast. Lastly, this is important to me, they have decent Internet. Too often you get almost Internet in motels and hotels.Once everyone has arrived for the evening and starts using it, everything slows down to a crawl. Both nights at the Cimarron, the Internet worked well for me. So as far as I am concerned, whenever I pass through Klamath Falls and need to spend a night, I will stay at the Cimarron. read more

My primary complaint with this place is that it is over-priced. I travel for work and regularly stay at hotels all over the western United States. I have a good feel for value and this hotel doesn't deliver for the rate they charge. I paid $238 (after a 25% discount - more on that later) for one night during Memorial Day weekend. Peak time, I know, but still too much. Here's my breakdown: Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, very comfortable bed.
