A lodging oasis in the middle of nowhere (well, Chiloquin, OR) when there's not many places to stay outside of camping in Crater Lake National Park and a few Airbnbs in the area. Associated with the casino next door, the rooms are surprisingly modern, clean, and air conditioned with Wi-Fi, a TV, microwave and mini fridge. The bed was comfy, the shower pressure good, and a continental breakfast (with your basic necessities of sausage, bacon, eggs, pastries, cereal and jwas nice to have. Didn't use their pool but the workout room had a few exercise machines. Definitely recommend it for a night and then visit to Crater Lake. read more

Gina greeted us and gave us the lay of the land...friendly and welcoming...just what we needed after a long drive. Room was clean and well appointed despite a noisy AC. Quiet room. Great variety on the breakfast buffet...try the biscuits and gravy! Yum! I'd stay here again if we were in the area. We enjoyed our stay! Love that it was VERY clean and maintained nicely. Probably partly due to the hotel doesn't have a lot of traffic/guests due to how remote it is. The breakfast could use some improving - those eggs need to be cooked more, the bacon and sausage were very greasy. The potato's had good flavor, but were soggy. Need to be more crisp. We chose the town of Chiloquin for our Crater Lake National Park visit because it was close to the South entrance. The town is small and very limited in sleeping accommodations and eating options. Sleep Inn was the most modern hotel available. Our room & bathroom were clean. Free WiFi was strong. Small refrigerator and microwave were in the room. AC was working fine. The free breakfast was decent. There were only two negatives, the mattress was too soft and the water pressure was weak. The cost was $250 per night, which wasn't bad at all considering the lack of other hotel and AIRBNB options. read more

Shout out to Gina at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make sure things were done well and folks felt welcomed. This is definitely the best hotel in town. Room: The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. I spent most of my time out at Crater Lake National Park, so it was perfect for me. There wasn't HBO or other movie channels but local cable was good with me. There was a mini coffee machine in the room, microwave, and fridge. Breakfast: Gina made sure to let me know about the hot breakfast served in the mornings. The offerings were the same everyday. There's something for most people. If you're vegan AND gluten free, bring your own food. General Area: If you're going out for a meal, the hotel is next to a casino. The food selections were wide and tasty. There's not a lot for vegan or gluten free diets. Next to the casino is a gas station and convenient store for your needs. There's not a lot available for groceries in the area. read more

We stayed here for several nights when we visited Crater Lake National Park. It is only an half hour to its South Entrance. Do note that it will take additional time to drive into and throughout the park. The hotel is generally pretty quiet, except for the occasional children running around. The beds are a little soft and the pillows are flat (1 star off), but clean and tolerable. There is a surprisingly good selection of breakfast items for a small town, including fresh Belgian waffles and biscuits and gravy. The staff is very friendly! They gave us many tips of the area upon check-in, and the cleaning crew helped to wipe up the syrup that my child spilled -- thank you. read more

Booked based on proximity to Crater Lake; would book again based on new and clean property and excellent service! The property was extremely new/well-kept and clean. The service was extraordinary- extremely friendly front desk employees and when we called to request extra towels, housekeeping arrived with them less than 5mins after we called. In addition, the pool and spa area was great - typically indoor pools and spas kind of gross me out but this one was very clean, well maintained, and had huge windows to provide a ton of natural light. It was perfect after a long day of hiking at Crater Lake! In addition, breakfast far exceeded expectations with many options. We enjoyed dinner one night at the casino next door and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality and breadth of offerings. We stopped on our way to Reno! Friendly staff and a really nice lobby. Rooms were so nice and new smelling the colors are bright and vibrant! Let's talk about the beds... So comfortable I just melted into it not too soft or hard. The water smells like sulfur but they said 100 percent safe to drink. They did include bottled water which was nice at no cost. The water is extremely sulfur smelling that was odd not sure why they can't filter but it was fine to shower and brush teeth with. The continental breakfast was delicious. Eggs yummy and sausage and bacon. Waffle maker your chose or juice and fresh coffee. Normally these breakfast bars are just blah but this was A++ Next door Casino was small only blackjack tables and slots we had fun drinking vodka soda for only $5. Show your paperwork and get some extra free play at players card. Overall a 4.5 experience rounding up to 5 due to the beds and breakfast! 26 miles before Klamath Falls stop here you won't regret it ! read more

I booked this hotel as it was the closest "name-brand" property close to Crater Lake. I've had some bad run-ins with Choice Hotels previously, so I had low expectations. After my stay, I'm glad to say that this hotel was a solid 8.5/10! The rooms were clean, the hotel looked modern and recently renovated, and the free breakfast had some of the most variety I've seen post-COVID. Front staff was super friendly, and even mentioned that this is the second ranked Choice Hotel in the nation! I'm giving it an 8.5 rather than 10 since me and my boyfriend noticed a strange smell coming from the bathroom / water. It was unpleasant and would come whenever you would shower or use the sink, which made me question whether the water was clean. All in all, this is a great hotel that offers convenience and a good nights rest. Would gladly recommend this to anyone :-) read more

Room was great, everything super clean, comfortable bed, most staff was very nice including a trainee and his supervisor on checkin. I was feeling great. But then on checkout they made me sign a "final form" stapled to a packet... what? why? I signed it but then I flipped through the packet and found a credit card statement. My reservation was prepaid so there should have been no charge. The agent took the form back and when I asked to see it again she refused to give it back. "Internal hotel business" she said. If so, why did they give it to me to sign? I said "you're not going to give it back to me?" and she said "no" with a rude look. Thanks "Pamela" for ruining an otherwise perfect experience. Oh man! Positives and negatives during the times of COVID. I understand that there is a new normal, but still, I paid over $230 for one night, and the pool, spa, and exercise room are not available. Additionally, the continental breakfast is switched out to breakfast delivered to your room. That's ok, but they didn't explain that each 10 minute slot can only be selected by one guest. If I had known, I would have chosen earlier, but I didn't know, so I waited to check with my friend. We agreed on 9:00, but that option wasn't available. Our only options were 6:00, 9:50, and 10:00. We chose 9:50, but it didn't arrive until 10:00. We were also instructed to select what food we wanted. We did, but didn't get what we ordered. And the front desk lady this morning is snarky. Last night's check-in lady was super nice even though she didn't explain about selecting breakfast times very well. The room was clean, the beds are great, but the soaps and shampoos are too old; the perfume in them has gone stale. Do you know that smell? Stinky! Thankfully we brought our own. They also have an usual system for guests to be able to turn on the lights in the room...you have to insert (and leave) your key card in a "pocket" near the door. Now, I get this prevents people from leaving the lights on when they aren't in the room...but...it prevents people from leaving a light on for when they return. Definitely not a "we leave the light on for you" situation. My last comment is about the towels. Wow! They are scratchy and rough. Not soft and comfy as one would expect. Thumbs down. read more

On a trip to Crater Lake we realized it was going to be way too cold to sleep in our tent and started searching for a last minute room when we stumbled upon the Sleep Inn. We could not have been more pleased. Not often does a "2 Star" hotel get 5 stars but this place deserves it. Common areas are clean and fresh, our room was spotless, breakfast was good, and the staff was especially friendly and professional (hi Pam!). There is a casino next door with a full service restaurant but the staff kindly notified us in advance that they do allow smoking and if we wanted we could order to go and bring it back to the hotel. We did that with the help of the menu they provided us and it worked out great. If you are visiting Crater Lake or the neighboring casino I highly recommend saying at the Sleep Inn! read more

I am sorry to report that the water in the shower and sink here smells like sulfur. At first you think, what's that smell? But then when you run the water for a while, it's unmistakable. . The hotel is otherwise quite nice, and the staff are helpful. But after a dusty day of hiking in Crater Lake, showering in rotten egg-smelling water was not what I needed. Edit- sulfur in the water seems to be the result of the volcanoes in the area. read more

My girlfriend and I wanted to have an enjoyable time. We chose Sleep Inn. Mainly because of the location and the 4 1/2 star rating. When we checked in yesterday the lady that checked us in was very nice and welcoming. Although I would have appreciated her explaining the way they do breakfast. We ended up having to eat later than we wanted because they did not tell us that you have to choose a 10 minute window and it's first come first serve. So, we waited for our food which was supposed to be delivered at 9:50, per their instructions, but we received are order 10 minutes late. We called the front desk to see where our breakfast was and the lady at the front desk acted like we put her out by asking where our order was. She didn't apologize for breakfast being late. The gentleman that brought us our breakfast was not wearing a mask. Instead was wearing a bandana. And he didn't apologize either. We won't be coming back here nor will we be recommending the hotel to anyone else. Bummer!!!! read more
